Great cover bro! :) And to all the people complaining about the backing track... I could hear his guitar fine... just listen, he has a different tone than Clapton.... very well played :)
im sorry, but i cant really hear the guitar, or cant tell the difference between your guitar and clapton's, so i cant say how good you play. thats why i hate people using the actual song as backing track.
Great cover! I agree with some of the other comments though - you should turn the music off or turn it down so we can hear more of your guitar playing instead of clapton.
Yeah, i know. The thing is, after i recorded the video, i added the original track over it, to cover the one from the video because it was sounding really bad, but it ended up covering a bit too much of my guitar's sound. Maybe i'll do a new one. Thanks for the comment
great!!!!jay...it is as good as the one played by eric clapton.. i can imagine how hard u could have practised...it was flawless...by far the best version other thanthe original eric's version.....keep playing amazing tunes and post it...u r great!!!!
Wow! Thanks a lot! I did have to practice hard, but the song isn't very hard to play. I've been precticing songs for much longer and i'm still not getting the right! Thank you very much for your complements!
yeah the unplugged version is fairly simple, i think a lot of people including me think, ok this is a clapton song it has to be hard, and they make it harder than it really is.
Thx. I started playing when i was about 13 (i'm 21 now), but then i quitted because i wasnt getting nowhere, and restarted about 2 years ago. So, i'll say i play for 2 years
thanks, thenewcreatures. I haven't done a video of this song with a backtrack yet cuz i've been working on new songs, and i haven't play this one for a while, so i would have to practice this one before making the video and i really don't feel like it right now... but i'll try to do it...
You mean a truss rod. Almost every guitar on the face of the earth has one. And i guess you arnt very well informed on sizes of acoustics other than full. The majority of tension should still be the same with steel and nylon any way but what ever.
Oh dear, you are a class A loser... But hey, your name is fender776 so I guess you know all here is to know about guitars, i feel safe knowing there are people like yourself out there..
while theres a ful sized dreadnaught a 3/4 and 1/2. It sounds like a steel strung i guess. I am 95 precent sure that since ive seen clapton play it its not that accurate. Also he plays this on a steel string. just something to think about.
I don't have a folk or a electro-acoustic guitar, and i wont put steel strings on that guitar because that sort of guitar is not prepared for steel strings, cuz, according to what i was told by a guitar shop owner, folk and electro-acoustic guitars have some kind of steel bar inside the arm to hold the pressure of steel strings. I also believe that the bridge is being held in a different way. I've heard of ppl that putted steel strings on classical guitars and had they're bridge ripped off
While thats why its good to have imput from other people. In my honest opinion your 10-17 second stuff is off and at about 25 the h-on stuff seems to be off as well. Its just my opinion though dont take it personally. Also is that a full sized guitar? it looks like a 1/2 or 3/4 to me maby a folk but it looks steel string'd correct me if im wrong.
I'm alomost i play the solos as the original (with a few mistakes of unaccuracy maybe). About the 1/2 or 3/4 guitar thing, i don't know what u mean, but that's a classical guitar with strings for classical guitars (3 steel, 3 nylon). Thx for commenting
Im not sure this tab is accurate. In my experience it doesnt go up to the 16 fret or higher than 12 even. Id look at a diffrent version and at least consider it cause to me its not correct.
I may actually try that, cause i downloaded a backtrack of this song, so it may sound pretty cool. I'll think about that. I'll let you know when i upload it, if i do. Thx for the comment

I think he was talking about the other guitar part. The rhythm part. Where as you were playing the lead solo part
Huynhlicious 4 years ago
Oh. Well, i can't play both at the same time, right? I choose this one because i like it better.
