  • The sperms have no place to escape, do the balls get bigger?

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • How long does this procedure take from the time I get the injection? Does the injection hurt very much? If I have been on narcotic pain killers for the last 2 years taking them 4x daily, will this decrease the effect of the numbing solution? I had a tooth filled recently and I had 6 shots of the numbing medicine before I was able to tolerate the drill-I didnt know if this was due to my narcotic pain medicine that I am taking for bulging discs.

  • it looks painfull but they give pain medicin and you will not have to worry of having another baby.

  • DON'T DO IT!! After 14 years I have developed cronic epididymitis (your balls hurt all the time). Tell your wife to take the pill and use a condom. If I could turn back time I would not go through it again.

  • excelent , incredible wow .

  • I heard all the horror stories going ....Let me tell you none of them were true Ihad the op and felt nothing at all ..I must admit i had some discomfort for the fist day thats all but it was almost nothing ..

if you ask the nurse when you first go to speak to them they will issue you some cream to rub on you bits two hours before the op ...20 mins later your on your way home ... ,,no more kids

remember she went through child birth its the least you can do

  • From this video the socalled NO scalpel seems to me more an euphemism than real.

When a small window in scrotal skin is needed to access the Vas , isn't a sharp cut by a scalpel better than teasing the scrotal skin with pointed haemostat, which can be more traumatising?

    Will someone answer me?

  • @thapilent im pretty sure your right. but i think they mean no scalpel as in they don't have to cut your scrotum all the way open to get to the vas deferns

  • Besides feeling a tug, it is not a big deal. Just take care of the small hole which heals in no time.

I was suppose to have the no needle Vas but unfortunately, it malfunctioned! Needle stung for a sec. Not a big deal.

  • any side effects, some ppl have said that i could have sexual problems afterward....is this true?

  • My husband is getting this procedure done in 2 days. Guys..I know it looks scary and painful..but as a wife who has gone through 3 very difficult pregnancies and had bad experiences with hormonal birth control..I'm very proud of him for volunteering.

I've had 3rd degree tears during childbirth that were stitched with very little numbing medication and believe me, I felt every stitch. This is a walk in the park. It takes a considerate man to do this for his wife. My opinion of course.

  • good technique.i have performed 93 such procedures.Problems are with reversals especially requested after many years of vasectomy, chances decreases with time.

  • It's not so bad. just take it eazy for a few days. No alchohol or sex for at least 48 hours. Get it done.

  • dont worry there isnt any pain at all. little bit of tightness and discomfort just keep it supported for 3 days straight.

  • have you had a vasectomy and would you doi again. cause i dont

  • thanks to you tube for this health related topics & same to posted one

  • I seriously considering getting this done in the future. I'm 21 but I don't want kids. Kids change too much of life. I want to be able to have a life with my future wife (when I meet her that is), in which we don't have to worry about going on vacation or doing fun things, because we have kids at home to come back to.

I'm sure the pain has cleared up for you by now gigjohn, right?

  • i had it done around 12 yrs ago boy it hurts .....i would never want it reversed...happy with my 2 children thanks.

  • noooooo im sure it hurts heaps

  • Wow. I always wondered what it looked like. Eeeeeek!

  • Those clips on the almost final procedure.... what are they made of???

  • I had it done 12 years ago, and I haven't regretted it since. The worst part was the numbing of the vas, it felt a little like getting punched in the gut. Afterward, the tenders were a bit tender for about a week. The best part was getting to spend the weekend just sitting on the couch. Still, compared with what my wife went through to give birth twice, this was nothing! My wife was in the room at the time, and she told me she'd never have me do it again, but I'm not the least bit sorry!

  • that hurts so bad to watch...had it done a while ago and its not very painful

  • i would think a man should go with it as women labour and men need to do this for their wives to show them they can be men

  • I'm considering getting this in the future. I'm 21. No I'm not in a relationship. I just can't picture myself being a parent. Alot of my friends tell me that I'll change my mind when I have one of my own, but that's just it, I don't want children!

I plan to be a lawyer. I want to focus on my career to maybe even one day be in charge of my own law firm in NYC. I'm very ambitions and will not stop for anything until I reach my career goals.

  • I would feel so guilty having my boyfriend go through this someday.

  • why its either you or him. for you its very damn painfull and i dont care what the dude or his manly friends say it does not hurt.

  • dont feel guilty, it's much worst on you girls. but thanks for beeing considerate.

  • Thank you for posting this video. I wanted to know how a no scalpel procedure works.

  • I just had it done yesterday,11-13-08 Iam 42. It hurt when he stuck the needle in my scrotum a little. After the novacaine wore off later i was in severe pain. Feels like I was kicked in the balls but the pain doesnt go away.I cant walk very well today. Nothing helps.I dont recommend it guys.

  • not i i felt the pinch when it went in then nothing. i did what i was supposed to for 3 days and i was fine still no pain now this was 9/16/08. yeah discomfort for them 3 days but gradualy went away. and i can get it up better than i did before

  • no thankyou... looks like a torture technique lol. imagine this beofre the invent of painkillers...

  • This is the terrible. Why not just opt for celibacy.

  • My man is booked in for this next week.............Ive done the child birth side (4 times) and am very much looking forward to sex sex sex without the panic and worry of getting pregnant again! We love our kids, but want no more but MORE sex!! Will let you know how he gets on.............

  • why not use a condom or contraceptive? this really looks painful .

  • poor guy it looks really painfull but at least he made the decision of doing it since its for guys who don't want kids or more babies are expensive lol

  • MAKE ME UNSEE IT!!!!!!!!!!j/k it actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would

  • Wow. So is the patient put under during this procedure?

  • OMG I lamost FAINTED

  • Had mine done yesterday. Still a bit sore but nothing to bad. Glad I watched this video after the op.

  • iouuu i am i iouuuuu oh

  • ahhh why would ppl think to do this????!!!

  • my dad had one he said it didnt hurt, he said when they cut the cord it felt liek he god kicked in the balls

  • oooh, I wonder how many men stup up to the plate? It does look quite nasty!

  • I would like to have it done. I'm still single, but i wish to not have kids later in life. I heard this costs between the range of 400 to 550, does it?

  • What's funny is that your sperm goes back into your body. It's like eating your own C.

    Ha, ha.

  • im only 16

    :]

  • My stitches burst (all four of them!!)at the two week stage so I have had a 25mm deep cut in my scrote just healing up by itself - they wouldn't re-stitch it because of secondary risk of infection. The stitches burst because of the swelling of balls! One month on from the procedure there is a little ache and I still have a small open wound.

  • i wish those nuts were hanging from my chin right now.

  • today i had this op!!!!wasnt to bad but my balls are aching i little now,a little pain prevents a lot of future problems

  • Makes my boys hurt just watching it

  • ouch bye manhood

  • im getting this done next week....gulp

  • why?

  • man i want my kids. i could never do this

  • I feel sick. I can't imagine ever having this done.

  • You are not alone. I felt nauseated watching it.

  • I had the op 8 days ago and it still hurts a bit. By the third day your ball sack has swelled to more than twice the size and it has gone dark blue with bruising. I went back to work on the forth day and it was quite painfull!

  • Had mine two days ago. Thanks to the aforementioned valium beforehand, I was babbling all sorts of nonsense in the waiting room before I went in for surgery. I've actually been in less pain than I anticipated, and didn't need to take any painkillers. I'm absolutely adamant that I don't want kids ever, and this has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

  • I had mine done yesterday! Aches a bit at the moment but is bearable. I had three stitches in my scrotum which obviously made their work a bit easier and overall less painful for me - except when they pulled the first vas out.

  • So you have to stay awake during this? I am never getting this no matter what my wife says and im still young lol

  • why would anybody do this?

  • people who dont want more childeren and no condom

  • So they won't make there favorite woman pregnant. It's for when you don't want children. Or for when you don't want more children.

  • So women who lie about using birth control can't get child support from you.

  • I just had it done the other day. I did get one stitch; it gives you a little more freedom of movement. I highly recommend this procedure -- follow the doc's instructions and there'll be no discomfort to speak of. I also got a valium beforehand -- also highly recommended!

  • I had mine yesterday. 3 Stitches in the sack and it only aches a little with no pain killers. The operation (under a local anaesthetic) was a bit painful but so far it's been ok.

  • I had mine done 8 days ago. It's still a bit uncomfortable and my scrotum is still quite bruised. Don't even think of working until at least 4 or even 5 days after the op!

  • What kind of butcher did yours? I was back to work 2 days later after mine. No bruising at all and very minimal swelling. Some guys (not you) are just wimps and wont even have it done. I gladly had mine done I have three kids and I dont want any more so I gladly had mine done.

  • I was awake for mine

    It hurt

  • i was awake for mine

  • I did mine myself.

  • I don't think I could ever have this done.

  • Just think of all the pain a woman has at being pregnant. But your not man enough to want to prevent that?

  • To anyone seeming squeemish about having this done let me reassure you that i just had it done yesterday and i did not feel a thing and up till now feel just as i did before, only you need to relax a bit more as the hole that was put in the scrotum has no stiches and heals as it was a cut which means trying to restrict your movement so the wound doesn't open up otherwise i feel fine and of course a lot depends on the doctor doing the operation but this is a very routine operation nowadays.

  • Good lord... I'm still getting it done in a few weeks, but I'm starting to wish I didn't watch this vid... lol It's definately great info, but my stomach is tight as hell now...

  • My fiance had the same no-scalpel procedure about a year ago. I was there with him, and yes, it was hard to watch a few times. But I figured if he was the one having it done, the least I could do is be there to hold his hand. It wasn't as simple and painless as the video, but that's only because he has quite a bit of scar tissue in his testicles that we didn't even know about until the surgery. He recovered just fine, though, even with an unfortunate cat accident just a few days after surgery

  • how much does a vasectomy cost to be performed?

  • Whats inside the scrotum?

Is there like a liquid or is there nothing but the testicles?

  • I'm getting this done in about a month or two and I'm extremely nervous.

  • Don't be. I had it done in April. Just make sure you take it easy, and ice as directed. No problem.

  • Snip/Tuck! Very clean procedure, non-invasive and reversible as always. If anyone grows queasy over this you better not have kids! I've seen worse scrapes on a 8 year old! (Though not in that area, should anyone get the wrong idea >:O)

  • Ok, this was an intense video. Not to be mean but it grossed me out a bit. It's not for people with weak stomaches haha. Interesting though.

  • so when he has an orgasm, does he ejaculate?

  • Yes.

  • wait im not quite sure how this works he ejaculates with no sperm???

  • Correct

  • Its like shooting harmless liquid.

  • well thats no fun

  • @BrianC3210 pretty much. he'll still have the same drive, he just won't be able to reproduce.

  • What's a Vasectomy for ?

  • A vasectomy is the male equivalent of getting your tubes tied. It prevents sperm from entering the ejaculate, and thereby makes impregnation impossible.
