Ichigo isn't an Espada. Espada are the top 10 (0-9) Aizen chose. Before Aizen, there were no rankings for the 10 of them. First off, there's no possible way Aizen would make the one killing all of the Espada an Espada, and second, he can become a Vasto Lorde with Shirosaki's (Ichigo's Inner Hollow's Name) help.

His vasto Lorde form was awakened from his inability to save Orihime on his own, despite his best efforts and determination to do so. Just like with all the other times, Shirosaki (I say that cuz its easier to remember than Ogihci) helped him stay alive, though obviously at a great price...
