You of all people would know, so I want an opinion, what would you recommend, a DC Level 5 10, or the AQ HDC4 10?

Could you tell me about how long it took you to break these in?

I have a pair of the SDC that i've been using for weeks and they still stink a bit after running them hard. I'm pretty sure they arent being overpowered with only 1500w@1ohm for both subs. Any insight would be great, thx.

@RJ71s a sub doesnt stink if its not broken in? You have something wired wrong.

@RJ71s When you get new subwoofers with new coils, they smell for a bit because of the clue that they use. But it should go away soon.

@RJ71s The culprit is almost certianly a clipped signal either from the head unit, amp or both. Your probably driving the amp to hard with the gain to high.

@Thorshammer1488 Yea, you are probably right. I tuned the gains with an o-scope too. I must've bumped something up somewhere that brought clipping on.

OK. here's a bonus question (lol). My components in the doors stopped playing anything above about 800hz-1k but still get loud under 800hz or so. I was cruising at high volume and both sides lost 'highs' at the same time. The amp has no x-over and the deck is x-over at 80hz n up for the doors. No EQ, etc inline. Where'd my highs go? Stay cool.

@Thorshammer1488 yo these speakers bang hard what is their exact name or where can i see what else they offer, I never heard of em. but preparing to put some serious music in my 72 impala and was gonna get w7 13.5 but keep seeing ppl say its other companies that sound even better and i want to investigate. so do theses sound better than w7's of same size?

@beastboy911 haha this guy has three15s at my school and thinks he is so bad ass and then he checks out my two tens and i blow his shit outta the water! i have more power going to my two tens than all of his three 15s check out my videos of them!
