  • im sorry i must of been mistaken i thought this was a review of the samsung q1 not its many accessories you can buy for it

  • Why not just buy a laptop. With all the accessories...its probably more bulk to carry around anyway. He is just a gadget freak!

  • I love your review! I purchased the SQ1U but my stylus just wont calibrate. Tell me what to do.

  • I like your video. But honestly, I think carrying all this separately is more painful than carrying a small 10" Tablet PC. Also, it is too impractical to use such small screens. Eyes get strained very easily. If I were you, I would use the Tablet bro! This isn't a laptop replacement. It is a TOY! If you need the internet on the move, use Safari on the iPhone! Done! :-)

  • nice camera whats the brand and model

  • try reading the title :S apple boy

  • wow i mean the camera hes using to film this.

  • ah , fair nuff

  • great review am gonna get one!

  • buy asus eee 4g instead

  • Well - I'm sold on this device thanks to your video.

Last week I really suffered through having to add a "portable" laptop to all my luggage for a train trip. My back is still aching.

Now if I had had a Samsung Q1, all I needed to take was just the Q1 in the organiser pack - no need even for the power pack; and no sore back.

So for all of you who make snide remarks, think about it - "portable" should mean "portable" meaning lightweight, powerful and efficient.

  • Man, I want one of these so bad! Thanks for the vid. =P

  • Nice vid Simon Cowell, "absolutely stunning" LOL

  • Hey guys im looking to puchase the DVD dual layer bus-powered burner... I see different ones online, however which one is the same one thats is on the video? Thanks guys..

  • I am a samsung addict .. i've almost tried all samsung phones and some laptops .. the developers just have the same way of consumer thinking .. satisfies me every time i use a product from samsung ... RESPECT SAMSUNG

  • you switch comps, laptops, and umpc way to often

  • This device is beyond impressive. If I had the money, I'd buy definitely buy it. Thanks for the great review.

  • is it possible to work with visual studio 2005 and sql 2005 on that device?. what is in the box?

    thanks

  • i like ur reviews m8.shame ur from oz...only jokin

  • Thanks for your reviews Hugo, its fun to see you almost drop everything... ;) I wish I could buy something like this in my country, its very hard to even buy a tablet pc. BTW, you have so many devices... which one do you actually use in everyday life?? because I guess this Q1 its nice on an airplane but not for all the time use, right?. Sofi.

  • DVD addon, power addon, keyboard addon... and even then it's still not as good as most laptops. lol.

  • It's nothing more than a glorified, flawed laptop.

  • Never mind after you folded it up it looked really cool, :D

  • I dont like that keybaord thing, it makes the umpc just look like a weird laptop

  • Get a Sony Vaio VGN-UX50. It's much better and has a built in keyboard. The Samsung Q1 is a peice of shit.

  • Piece of shit is a bit harsh dude. When compared to the Sony, sure, it's a little under impressive. But at 40% less the cost it surely makes a compelling buy. Plus on the Sony you don't get much of a pen iput mechanism...and it's too fat in your hand...and who really works on a 4" screen anyway.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the review - but I don't buy it. I've got a little iBook that runs for about 4.5 hrs and fully charges in less than 1 hr. That thing takes a long time to boot too. Looks nice, but as we Brits say - a lot of 'faffing' about is needed. Not that compact by the time you've finished with all the extras - Thnx anyway.

  • Cheers although the Mac OS does my head in. I own a G5 dual core PowerMac and only use it for Photoshop. The UMPC concept is based on real mobility and not implied mobility like you iBook.

    Thanks for the comment

  • In 1945, a young girl named Kstu lata kulu came to America in a gray boat from Africa.A mysterious man killed her by cutting the word "LA TUALATUKA" in to her back, now that you have read this message she will come to your house on a full moon and steal your soul unless you follow this directions: 1.Retype this message as a comment for three other videos

  • Dude, these reviews are great! I'm shopping for a UMPC, and this helps a lot.

  • man thats amazing, how much it cost all those stuff the Q1 the keyboard the dvd and the power back, i think i will not sleep untill i get one:)

  • q1 costs between $899 USD and $1,299 depending on model. USB keyboard and organizer $120. DVD over $100, Powerbank over $150.

  • thanks alot, i really appreciate your concern :)

  • Excellent job explaining all the cool parts of this device. Bravo!

  • Thank you. Simplicity often does the trick! Cheers

  • weee, 'ultra portable' the size of macbook pro, lol

  • ultra Naïve! Thanks for popping by.

  • a macbook pro isn't a tablet. yes there are small laptops out there. A UMPC is a tablet pc however, thats the difference.
