  • wan wan fu wan fu wan fu hng min ja khan shi do huang schi shi fu man tha jia chi hai

  • @nazworkshop lol the secret, agreed, if you tried to tell them they would run away screaming.

  • acacacacac

  • Qigong is an integrating part of Chinese Medicine, the equivalent of western medicine, only much, much older.

If you believe in acupuncture (as many doctors also do), then Qigong is the way you can perform healing yourself, by using your own body and mind, using techniques that have been refined for millenia by Taoist masters.

When you will meet face to face with a 60-year instructor who is more radiant and joyful than the happiest 17-year old, you will understand that these practices do work.

  • @xxbrokenwishesxx You have no idea of what tai chi is or what ci kunk is. So do not comment because you sound very ignorant. here we are talking about 3000 years culture that you don't even imagine what it is.

Here e is simply giving a short, simple example of a long exercise that helps to circulate the chi.

If you don't know what a chi is, then I suspect that your body suffer a lot of pain, illness or you eat very badly like drinking aspartame from a coke, or junk food like Mac donalds.

  • HAHAHAHA!!!

  • ???

  • surely these methods arent the only way to rejuvenating the body? Or are they? Why not just use the law of attraction to get the same benefits? hehe

  • Because the whole LoA is extremely cliche now and really common and boring. Doesn't do anything for your energy levels.

  • He is burping I cant believe it!

  • hes human

  • paulioa79 if you practice any good breathin tecnics you should know that is a sign of a very good work.

  • True. I met a very high level qigong healer in Taiwan, and the one thing I left out of the stories about him was his constant burping whenever he was healing people. It was just too strange to really talk to most people about.

  • Wow, yeah I've seen my guru (yoga doing) his practice and belching like a man sized frog. That's funny and crazy other people know about that as well. I figured it meant something, but didn't ask y'know...

  • Have experienced the same... and at the other end too haha. I'm serious. It's because the chi is detoxing sick stuff.

  • See, u just don't know the chi kung world, that's why it looks meanless to u.

  • sorry I intended "senseless"

  • i would have to laugh when making those sounds. the true Dao of open emptiness nobody wants it, they all want to play

  • you're comparing apples and oranges, mazor :) in this third level you've gone past the tendon & ligament training and now the focus is on the bones, where your blood cells are made. when the bones are energized, they produce more and better quality blood cells. bones also have a piezoelectric effect to them; when they are stressed they generate an electric current.

  • Dear msblueeyes if I take a walk my body's fluids and energy will circulate will it not? I feel good and healthy after a walk. By doing Mr Chia's practice I'll get no additional benefits above and beyond what I get from walking - will I?

  • The are many scientific articles published on the effects of Qigong

  • @mazorblock If you eat healthy( organic fruit and vegetables everyday) and practice tai chi or chi kung properly then you will see the good effects of Chinese medicine. But if you drink coke, eat junk food, or not doing tai chi or chi kung with a good master, then you will not notice the effects so easily.

  • Even it's short, it's very informative, if you have some basic knowledge about Qi Gong / Chi Kung practiice.

  • How does one benefit from this practice?

  • It benefits you by helping circulate your body's fluids and energy, keeps you healthier longer. There's a wide range of exercises you can do - if you take the time to do this stuff every day then once your body eases into the routine you get supercharged with energy and you feel great.

  • Longevity. Look up Mr. Guan Saihung. 94 year old Taoist monk. 13th and last disciple of the last Grand Master of Hua Shan (he's the Taoist Pope). When I met Mr. Guan he was 82 and looked about 35, muscular and athletic, and he had a full head of black hair. Today I am 38 and I have plenty of grey. The secret of longevity is Xi Sui Ching ( marrow washing classic ) after or concurantly with Yi Gun Ching ( muscle & tendon changing classic )

  • I've heard alot of Mr. Mantak Chia. It's great to finally see him in video. He really knows his stuff.
