  • i'm shock by paul mccartney's videos playing this song. how can anyone dislike paul mccartney?? even it's only like 5-6 people, it seems imposible.

  • Is that the illuminati pyramid with the eye on the top?

  • 21 yr old McCartney singing about 17 year old girls, slightly taboo, and exciting, 60 yr old McCartney singing about 17 year olds, pedophillic and creepy...

  • Was the Amoeba in Hollywood

  • @Ericson1305 Yes it was. I was there and it was fucking amazing!

  • it was very awesome when he singed this song in the beatles!

  • an awesome character of the beatles!

  • I wish I was there !

I was at Amoeba 2 weeks ago ,

Unfortunately I live in France and I'll be pleased to visit every week-end !

  • Sir Paul is God.

makes me happy to see him shred that bass still, after all these years

  • " Little feets a 'boppin."

  • wow thats 5 seconds of my life wasted, niceone douchebag

  • u asshole

  • possibly the most important artist ever and he just gets up and gives us a tune. Success hasn't got to Paul the way it did to others.Well done lah!

  • I would drop dead with love and disbelief and joy and everything else if I could see Macca this close. Wow. Props to you, brotha/sista!

  • Dude I would DIE if i was this close to Macca...like, litterly, I would just probably forget how to breathe and pass out

  • i was in one of the farthest seats back at paul and ringo's concert in new york, i literally couldnt stand up anymore... i had to hold onto my dads shoulder.. paul is by far the most talented, yet underrated musician EVER :D

  • He is magnifisant.

I just saw him August 1st at FedEx Feild....he was amazing

  • @sweeneysbabe63

I was just about to write that, except I WOULD faint.

  • @sweeneysbabe63

    About Paul that is.

  • You say it's your birthday

    It's my birthday too, yeah

    They say it's your birthday

We're gonna have a good time

    I'm glad it's your birthday

    Happy birthday to you!!!

    U R the BEST!!!

  • excellent video my friend.......and i think i have the exact same bracelet Paul has on his left wrist....

  • I just LOVE Paul!

  • Pick guards easily come off with a couple of screws and also if you look at any footage or pics from the "Let it Be" era, then you will see him playing this exact bass.

  • I'm sure he has more than one Hofner bass. I doubt he takes around a priceless relic (as in, the bass he used to record Let It Be) around with him on tour. My 2 cents anyway...

  • Well its tough to tell if its the original because he did remove the pick guard of his original but he also auctioned it off and gave the money it made to charity so it might be it.

  • Actually, I read that he had/has two hofners: his first hofner he had until after the let it be sessions, which was stolen, apparently. The second one which he got in like 1965 or something (it was a 1963 model) , has been refinished a few times, and fixed up, but otherwise, I think he's kept it all this time.

  • i think Blackbird96 is right, i've heard the same thing. he has had the 2 hofners and a rickenbacker (used for recording), and still has the newer hofner after the old one was stolen from abbey road studios.

  • whats Amoeba?

  • It's a record store(like CDs and vinyl) that has three locations, Berkley, San Fransisco, LA...I think there is also a New York one......anyhow this was filmed at the LA one, go to Amoeba(dot)com and you'll see tons of live vid and more info.

  • This performance was nominated for a Grammy for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance.

  • great video, though too short. Nice small venue. I was lucky to be front row at two venues in Frankfurt Festhalle 1993,two diff dates. Rock on Paul.

  • PAUL MC CARTNEY´S IMITATORS...

  • it would be more appropriate if he said "she was just seven-ty" lol nah i seriously love Paul though

  • He's 64 (Ironic)

  • dude that really is ironic! but hey the songs still arent shit even tho hes older now

  • They arent shit i love his current career.

  • Gah y'd it just end? I love paul!

  • esta canción, es un himno, quien no mueva los pies al escucharla, está muerto!!!

    YLU Beatles

  • i remember that.

    that was in L.A.

  • you might be wondering why u got a thumbs down...well, here's why, no. 1: we haven't drifted apart from the Beatles. no.2: Paul McCartney doesn't need his fame back, he's as famous as ever since the Beatles.

  • that was great!

    it still sounds so fresh.

when did he play at amoeba?

  • June 27th, 2007.

  • Why is he playing at a small ass venue like that? looks like some kind of high school cafeteria and shit. And I bet those 3 young ass guys must be pretty damn lucky and honored to play with a such a legendary icon. They should cherished that moment forever. People who have been playing for many years would love to be in their shoes right now and give anything to play with someone from The Beatles. I bet everybody is gonna hate them because they're jealous LOL. What happen to his all star band?

  • That small ass venue was a record store in hollywood, yes it still sells vinyl and is world famous for it, that held over 900 people. Paul wanted to do some small free shows for his fans and this was one of them. You will never know how great it was to be there in such a small venue. I have seen Paul nearly a dozen times but this was, by far, the best and due in no small part to the smallness of the venue. The owners and employees were great to us. We were the lucky ones!

  • lol I love how the world still loves the beatles, makes me glad that some things can never die! =]

  • man I wish John and George were still here! especially John, it would be real interesting to have witnessed the Lennon legacy had he been alive today!

  • love him!!

  • He is sooo great!!

  • I LOVE YOU FOREVER PAUL

  • Do we still love ringo!?!?!?

    YESSSSSSSSS....

    (duh)

  • paul acts old.

BUT WHEN HE SINGS he still sounds the same as when he was younger

  • he sounds the same now

  • i love how he's wearing a Von Dutch shirt

how could dance with another ooooo when saw HIM standing there(my little version)

  • wut in gods name

    u shall burn in hell!

  • This man is ridicuously talented & his & that of the beatles's music will be timeless

  • Aww... T.T

  • Aye and the Pope's a Catholic!

  • the song, is longer !!!

  • tribute should be paid to his band! His music has never sound so fresh and alive in thirty years...go on, paul!

  • Isn't it great to see how he can sing so well and holds up so well, thanks to NOT diving into drugs?

  • wow he is awesome

  • wow the illuminati symbol (pyramid + eye ) , strange place !!

  • He should get out and tour this year. I saw him in San Jose a few years ago and he was f***ing great! It's time to put pegleg to rest.

  • LMAO!!!. damn right time to put pegleg to rest.

  • Guy has more talent, more fame, more money than the vast majority of humanity--learn a little respect, PUNKS!!

  • I agree with johnnysvideoworld, the mccartney is clutch but the others are sub par. I mean, Lennon with blone hair? Gimme a break :(

  • Turkey neck is beck!

  • nunca fue ni sera la mitad de lo lennon era...

  • Are you guys stupid? this is Paul McCartney, you tards. GG

  • No sir this is Mick Jagger Dressed as John Lennon FOOL

  • The beatles FOREVER

  • the lead singer did a dead on mccartney, but the other guys did not even try to look like beatles :-(

  • The lead singer was McCartney and why should his band try to look like The Beatles when they are not The Beatles?

  • there not tryin to be the beatles this is mccartney solo

  • i hope u arent serious. cuz that is actually paul. but im guessing u were being sarcastic

  • I saw him do this from across the street at a Jack in the Box . . . . it was mind-blowing.

  • I was in the third row the side the piano was on. What an amazing night. Gives me smiles and chills just to think about it.

  • i wasnt there cause i know i had no chance to get in the store, just a few people could see the show, so i did not bother to go, but really did you see him from the jack in the box infront amoeba?

  • LOL!

  • Hey, it sounds like The Beatles' live in Hamburg bootleg version! doesn't it?

  • Thank for this....!!! I was there and it was AWSOME!!!

  • Is that Tony Gilkyson playing guitar on Pauls right?

  • No. The blondish guy is Brian Ray and the dark haired is Rusty Anderson. The drummer is Abe Laboriel Jr.

  • Thanks for being there!!!!
