To the people who say that Yiruma's compositions are nothing special simply because they are not particularly complex: the theme tune to schindlers list by John Williams is not a particularly complex, yet it is one of the most beautiful/emotionally charged pieces i have ever heard

The complexity of a song does not matter, whats matters is if it sounds great, beautiful, amazing, etc.

Simplicity and complexity are both art, but that does not mean one is better than the other. Many people have forgotten this.

That is true, I beleve every wrod you said. But, also remember that a pianist is not judged by the song he plays or writes. What depicts a pianist is how much EMOTION he can out in his songs. For example, Yiruma, if you take a few hours or even a few minutes to listen to his songs, you can tell that this is a guy full of sadness and happiness mixed into one big bubble. :D
