This song gives me chills cuz when I met him I told him "I've loved him since Runaway" and when he played it that night at Philly Soul Pep Rally he made a reference to my meeting with him and the only person who knew what he was talking about was me. In a way yes. Have you heard "Show me the Way" by Peter Frampton? You must. It really influenced a lot of people including Richie to use talkbox. Richie mentions Pete in all the music magazine how he started using talkbox as Frampton Comes Alive 1976 was the highest selling live album during the 70s even beating the original one.

i was there, absolutley a disgrace for the band to not use there full compliment of lights screens high def and anything else they skimmed on .nop need for them to do this with the money they make. my question is why did they do it?

I think they toured this World tour basically for Richie and Dave honestly.

Richie needed to clear his head.

Also dave as they both went through a divorce.
