Only pilots from different countries except like the Caribbean Canada and England Ireland and like France an also South Africa and Australia don't get lost in airports in the united states. Only far away pilots gets lost most of the times and plus like in JFK airport
Do you know they get lost from personal experience?
Are you an ATC or pilot? Do you know for a fact these pilots always get lost? If you are not a pilot or ATC personal, Your comment isn't worth a piece of dog shit.
Well Alitalia sucks in every major part of flying, from service to incompetent crew. One of the worst airlines in the air today. I hope they go bankrupt soon. Alitalia is a big damn joke, no wonders they got lost at JFK, they get lost everywhere they go. Dont ever ever fly with this shitty airline.
a question: dont pilots have a little map of the airport and taxi ways on their control stick and dont they also have another moniter or something like that to follow to keep them on the right taxi ways?
@1053857 totally agree with you..but have you seen where PE is?..it is the last taxiway leading to the rwy where they're supposed to take off. Please correct me if I'm wrong! Maybe the pilots were just astonished by the beauty of New York :-)
Says a person from Romania, ive flown Tarom myself and that was like sitting in a ugly dirty bathroom from the 70's, they also needed 2 landing attempts! but what can you expect..
Actually I like the part where Iberia watches the Alitalia 'wander into the cargo ramp' ha ha
Great to hear the professionalism and cooperation though. I'm sure that same Alitalia crew has collectively pulled off any number of amazing feats of flying on other days - anybody can have an off day. Long as life not endangered it's all good.

I was waiting for this to end with the Alitalia trying to taxi over the George Washington bridge and saying "When did your airport charge us $8 to park?!!?!?"
I love all airlines. but to no offenses, I LAUGHED THE ENTIRE TIME. lool. i love this video. especially when it said at 00:28 when it says, "Iberia Watches Alitallia "WANDER" into cargo area..." HAHAHA lool. NICE VID

fuck you son of a bitch....alitalia have the best pilot in the world!!!!!!!!!

It will be easy if the pilot keeps an eye on the airport diagram chart on the yoke and an eye on the taxi ways signs.

They do, but at big airports such as JFK, taxiing is really not the easiest thing to do.

Bummer. They still suck as much as they did when I had to fly with them.
No wonder italians applaud after a successful landing.

I agree. Kinda anticlimactic.

BIG deal, happens every day. With checklists and everything else a crew has to do before taking the active this is understandable.

This video just shows how ATC in JFK are nice.
Go play with your SAITEK yoke and leave the business to others.
Add more ram to your brain also.

For your information, this kind of thing happens quite often, especially in large airports such as JFK and with italian crews.
