5th gear is still there, but with very noisy bearings, feels like you are in an aeroplane when it is engaged... and the angle won't be good to make that footage, plastic cover will not move...
this is M47 5 speed manual transmission, what you had in mind was another type, 4 speed with attached overdrive that can be engaged with a button on top of the stick knob.
Your rpm is 4000-4500, WHY dont you switch to 5th gear? CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Where is your 5th gear, gone? Look at the middle of that thing and press it :) If does not work, connect the cables together after removing the knob. It must have happened because of the reverse position whne you pulled the top off and cables lost contact. 1 minute to repair that and save your engine.

I dont know. That knob is not original, right? 5th gear is usually a small button in the middle of that stick
