Choose which one is most suitable for your combat needs. If you like mods such as grips, lights, lasers etc. get a RIS. If you want CQB gun go w/ m4, or long distance combat go w/ m16. What kind of stock do you want? collapsible, solid or folding?

airsoftgi is a joke. My friend bought that m249 in my video, from there. They shipped out 3 weeks after he ordered it, and it was broken. Customer service gave him the runaround so he ended up paying out of pocket at a local store just to get it repaired. Trinityairsoft does next day shipping and have very helpful customer service, especially with upgrades. I got my VSR10 gspec, Deagle, P90, p226, and SPAS 12 from there.

Springs are around $15USD. If you order online, lets say from trinityairsoft dotcom, there is an option on there to have them upgrade it. Just call them or e-mail before you place an order. If you buy from a retail store, have the techs do it. I've been doing airsoft for 5 years now, and still have techs do my upgrade work because of the cost issue of making a small mistake. A $10 or $30 labor fee, depending on what it is, is cheaper than buying a new part!

i know.. but there are so many different models... i like the maruis,, but the fps isnt high, although they do offer great quality. the echo 1 has more fps, but i hear they are just clones. so i guess i need to figure out which brand.

To solve the fps issue with Marui is to install a 100 spring. Requires no other upgrades. The M4 RIS in this vid chrono'd at 333fps.
