I felt like Gaara in my childhood. I had a friend who was an outcast like me, like Naruto. He got friends because his illnesses got better. My childhood pyschosis didn't. Kids ran away from me on the playground because they were afraid of me. The whole scene when it shows them both alone but Naruto gaining friends and Gaara getting nothing showed my whole childhood. I never cried harder.

in some ways naruto's life was worse than gaara's before iruka. gaara accuatly had a brother and sister that loved him. naruto had nobody. gaara became kazekage and everyone loves him now. yet some people still hate naruto.
