  • Why can't we have a constitutional monarchy like with mossadeq? Reza Pahlavi would have NO political power and we would have a president or prime minister that would be elected by the people and he or she would have the limited political power along with the parliament

It was working for us before '53, if CIA didn't put the shah in power in the first place we wouldnt need to discuss this right now

Spain is a constitutional monarchy, also england, Greece, Canada, Sweden, Norway, holland, Japan,

  • Monarchy is history world is more civilized it can neither look towards monarchy for salvation and freedom nor for a rigid democracy. We need to have huan values based on true essence of democracy which will guarantee to safeguard the rights of rich and poor, upper and middle class, monarch or dicatators all have to submit to true democracy the prosperity will come and nations will thrive.

  • omg noor pahlavi is so beautiful, im in love

  • Dota jedeye dige nooor Va. Iman pahlavi biyam beran tuye kune man ...jedeha...

  • Javid Shah, Javid Shahbanou, javid shahzade va javid Iran. Valiaht bargard, Iraniha eshtebah kardan.

  • @zentropy78 Why is there no place for monarchy in Iran?

  • Durood be Khanedaneh Pahlavi NAAjiyeh Iran Javid Shahanshahaneh Pahlavi

  • @TheSHAHDOOST And further, I don't see any reason to have him as a leader if we are to have a constitutional democracy. What's the point of giving him a salary and leltting him sit on a fake throne, he won't ever get any political power (that I am sure of). He hasn't even managed, like the Dalai Lama, to even gather large support among expats (as far as I know). Do you live in Iran? Or have you been to Iran lately?

  • @ihatekhomeini Lets agree to disagree.

  • @MrRT1966 We certainly did, and we certainly do.

  • Look ihatekhomeini, I respect your right to voice your opinion. But I'm pretty certain you're in the minority, so from now on you need to call him your majesty. merci

  • Listen you F'ing Iranian twits.

you asswipes - put these Islamic assholes in power.

And then you let these asswipes spread their Islamic fascism/terrorism/insanity to the rest of the world.

    F yourselfs.

    Suck it up.

  • @WazuFazu By the tone of your writing I assume you're American. Remember that your country destroyed our prospects for a democracy in 1953, and later supported the mass murders of the shah. And it is you who are bombing the world to pieces everytime other countries don't agree with your policies. I think you should fuck yourself, and do it propoerly! (I guess you must also be ashamed of yourself because you can't even defeat a backwards coutry like Afghanistan. It's Vietnam all over again)

  • REZA PAHLAVI EFTEHKAR IRAN AST.....

  • @FREEpersia her here

  • @FREEpersia If I were you I would first do good research into the period when he was in power. He was just a puppet who illegally came to power with the help of CIA. He sold raw materials in exchange for support from the Americans and British. He was very stupid and felt a kind of god. I am sick of him and his successors. losers are all living on the money they have stolen from Iran. The only real good leader, Mohammed Mossadeq in 1951.

  • @damienlabenz Maybe you should dive into your research a little deeper. Reza Shah was put into power in 1941 for the first time, not 1953. And it was done by Ali Foroughi, his father's prime minister.

During WW2 Britain took over Iran and the only way to get them off their back was with the help of the U.S. and by selling them alot of oil. Did they sell it for cheaper than they could have, yes, but that is because they pretty much had to.

  • @damienlabenz Plus the selling of the raw materials you speak of made Iran one of the richest countries in the world with 80% of the population being upper middle class. 10% upper class, and 10% lower class. U.S. has nothing close to that.

And Mohammed Mossadeq came off as a good guy but in actuality he just wanted to overthrow the Shah. Which is total bullshit considering the fact that Mohammed-Reza Shah PERSONALLY asked his current prime minister to step down in order to let Mossadeq take it

  • @damienlabenz And guess how Mossadeq decides to repay him? He exiles the Shah's sister out of the country (by the way she was just a philanthropist who fought for women's rights and supported her big brother).

Then Mossadeq creates his own little army to overthrow the shah. And guess what, that little army was defeated in front of his own house and caused the death of 400 men that day.

So please do YOUR research into the period when he was in power
