  • What note do you play immediately after hammering on the D string at around 2:35?

  • @DrSnazz You hammer the D string at the 2nd fret and go straight to the open G string, then hit an open D string before you hit a full D chord.

  • I'm curious. If I wanted to play these chords without arrpegiating (spelling?) the notes in the chords, just strum them through. What are the chords in order from first to last for the verses and the chorus?

  • Great tutorial mate, like your style. Also love the word noodling, I think it somes it up perfectly. Cheers G

  • please pass me the chords and riffs fvro message

  • There's a bird on your pick guard.

  • Thank you so much. You are the number one. Greetings from Spain.

  • I really love your lesson, especially the stones one

i have a question, how many guitars have you ?

  • Thank you. Great job.

  • thanks i've learned loads from you

  • Excellent, thanks

  • Nice, bro.

  • @privetticker - cool, thanks again. Love in Vain is also a tune id love to learn, ill have to check if you did a lesson on it. i like the original by robert johnson as well.

p.s instead of using a capo , bar chords can also work right ? but then it wouldnt be the same as keiths.

  • @hootchieman5 You could use barre chords, but the voicings would sound all wrong.

  • @privettricker - thannks man ! il try both . Without the capo , can i just play the same chords you are playing ? starting on the first fret ..

  • @hootchieman5 Yes, you can use the same fingerings, but it'll be lower, of course. The capo'd version sounds in A, but it'll be in G without the capo. (The Stones recorded Love in Vain with a capo, but onstage they've played it without the capo, using the same fingerings.)

  • @privettricker - thannks man ! il try both . Without the capo , can i just play the same chords you are playing ? starting on the first fret ..

  • Thanks man ! I will try both, if i play without the capo , should i play the same chords you are playing ? would that work?

  • @privatetticker - what is the capo for ? can you play it without it ?

  • @hootchieman5 Sure, you can play it without it. But Keith used a capo.

  • what is the capo for ? can you play it without it ?
