1. Leopards are in the smaller spectrum of the "Big Cats" family. As such they are primarily nocturnal. A lion with "F" it up easily.

2. This leopard was previously tranquilized.

Take 1 leopard, still drugged & groggy & try to forcefully eject it (via repeatedly jabbing it in the face with a stick) into strange surroundings, in broad day light. If the outcome isn't at least partially obvious, you have no business working with animals. The leopards actions are justified.
