That passage is from the Old Testament. In the New Testament it still says homosexuality is wrong. It does not say that eating shrimp is wrong however. Nor does it say harlots should be stoned. What upsets me about gay Christians is that the Christian and gay rights lobbies in America are on opposite sides. Those who try to advocate for both in the political arena are cancelling themselves out and that's one less person on MY side, which makes all the difference. My friends, we must be careful not to "interpret" the Word of God. It is very plain. Leviticus 18:22 (KJV): "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination.". It does NOT get much clearer than that.

@ssshine1 "Being" a homosexual is a sin? What book is that in- 'cause it's not in any of the 12 translations of the Bible that I have- nor in the original greek or hebrew. Being and Doing are different- and in the sense of "doing" I can only see anal sex as falling into that catagory. (ie. lay with a man as a woman). Your heart is in the right place though. I would look at the greek and hebrew words currently translated as homosexual in our bibles if you are interested.

I'm a Christian who is gay but doesn't live the Gay lifestyle because I believe two of the same gender would be committing adultery. Adultery is considered a moral law and homosexuality was always used in the moral law sense. Jesus undid the cleanliness and other such laws like the dietary laws but kept the moral law. These Mosaic laws were a shadow of the law fulfilled and were often used to demonstrate the morality of Jehovah (don't mix two fabrics together/sheep and goat cannot be mixed).

I have sinned, is different than stating I am a sinning christian. Notice I did not single out any particular sin, because to God it is all the same. Now, I also learned that we have to strive to not sin by focusing on God and his word (bible). That is because our bodies are the temple of God where His Spirit wants to dwell. men cannot call themselves "saved" while they habitually engage in homosexuality. homosexuality comes from idol worship, the two go hand in hand. read romans chapter 1 if you dont believe me.the laws in lev. are divided into 3 types, homosexuality falls under "moral law". there are many places in the bible where you can see plainly what god wants you to hear. if you put your faith in online videos about the bible from a "gay christian" organization you are gonna be in deep trouble very soon.

That passage is from the Old Testament. In the New Testament it still says homosexuality is wrong. It does not say that eating shrimp is wrong however. Nor does it say harlots should be stoned. See... I don't NOT believe in God, I just believe that (like Corinthians, which is just letters to the Corinthians) Leviticus is not the laws of God, but rather the laws of Moses and the Israelites. I think that many parts of the Bible were written by humans, and only the few parts that remain are the true morals and the true Word of God.

What upsets me about gay Christians is that the Christian and gay rights lobbies in America are on opposite sides. Those who try to advocate for both in the political arena are cancelling themselves out and that's one less person on MY side, which makes all the difference. My hope for gay Christians is that they can let go of the Christian mythos and put themselves first for the good of all gay people, as selfish as it may be.

If you are turly a christian you love god with all your heart, mind and soul, you put him before yourself. Jesus says this is the first and greatest commandment. If you're gay, but you love God and aknowledge Jesus as your personal saviou, then you try to not do anything that would displease God, even if this means denying yourself. Very clear homosexuality is unacceptable to God, period. No debate. Same as murder, sexual promiscuity and all sin etc. Deny yourself and pray for truth. God bless

The one thing I'd like to say though is that things get murky when you start creating homosexual churches that condone homosexuality. I absolutely have no problems with gays... really I don't.... But when you try to infuse homosexuality into religion in a contradiction, that poses a problem. -- Your video only accomplishes one thing. To prove my point, 1 John 4:20 "If anyone says," I love God." Yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen, but I do think that Christians should just hate the sin, not the person. Being and Doing are different- and in the sense of "doing" I can only see anal sex as falling into that catagory. (ie. lay with a man as a woman). Your heart is in the right place though. I would look at the greek and hebrew words currently translated as homosexual in our bibles if you are interested.

I'm a Christian who is gay but doesn't live the Gay lifestyle because I believe two of the same gender would be committing adultery. Adultery is considered a moral law and homosexuality was always used in the moral law sense. Jesus undid the cleanliness and other such laws like the dietary laws but kept the moral law. These Mosaic laws were a shadow of the law fulfilled and were often used to demonstrate the morality of Jehovah (don't mix two fabrics together/sheep and goat cannot be mixed).
