Sound, being what it is, may either be interpreted as being anything between beautiful to jarringly noisy - the latter of which I interpreted this music to be.

Maybe you just have to have a certain kind of neurological makeup to enjoy monotonous tones; a makeup which I do not possess.

You've got it wrong. Musical Theory was not *observed* before music existed. The relationships between tones (and people) always existed; people over the centuries have just elucidated on these concepts, in order to create what we know as modern Musical Theory.

To add. This band and many of its memebers and the side projects they do, regularly tour and collaborate with, and release Noise music. If a song has perfect timing, is perfectly within its scale, and all of its "musical Theory" wonders. It can be pretty boring if there is no emotion put in or gettin across. It's about the emotion and this is hardcore (not metalcore) A genre that many mistake for punk... Its a genre of UNREST. WHOA get it, this song kills! we are all at unrest.
