It's very David Firth just without the British-ness. I really like the music in it, but I don't like the music in it at the same time because it makes me think of Astroboy and Sailor Moon cartoons and being very alone.

@abbibabbibutterfly I made this about a year and a half ago as a project for an art class. We had to be inspired by another artist and I chose David Firth, best known for his works "Salad Fingers" and "Spoilsbury Toastboy". I made this. The man finds a corpse in a box, falls in love with it, and obtains nutrients from a random guy by hooking their brains together with a tube that explodes out of his head. It really isn't supposed to make any sense, it was really just me experimenting in Flash

no that's not good. there's just no feeling and no meaning behind it. it's not very psychedelic, its not making my brain spinning around disapointing informations... some of the things are very senseless.

david firth' videos are things for themselves... no one ever can copy it, not even a bit

If I may reiterate, I NEVER compared myself to Firth. I just had to be inspired by him for this project. I know I am on a completely different level than him and I half-assed this for a high school art class in about 3 days.

Its not as good as david firth but give it a few years and some knowledge and you could become quite good.

It's just like David Firth's work, ie: you stole a bunch of his concepts and tried to mash them together, however is seriously lacks the creativity, originality, poetics, and feel of David's stories.

A short film is more than just moving images and creepy music — while this is very obviously inspired by David Firth, it has absolutely zero integrity.

I made it for a design class, I literally spent no time on the story whatsoever. In fact I didn't realize this was already a Salad Fingers episode until months after this was completed. That's not to say that if I did make more of an attempt at story I could even compare to Firth, but I guess my point is that this isn't close to my best.

The original concept sketch was just the still frame of two men joined at the head by a pipe channeling from one man's brain to the other, and next to them there were two pumpkins impaled on posts. Since the events of this movie are something that only I really understand, I figured the title may as well be something only I get also. One other thing, judging by your recently favorited videos I am happy to see that you like the song Weird Beard :D
