I believe thats a part of the orion nebula. A massive piller of gas and dust and general mysterious oddities.

I think your video is great - the audio visuals really capturing the magestic nature of it all (waves hello from that little blue dot somewhere out there is space).

I too am interested in creating a video such as this. Could you give me a few suggestions of programs to use?

I'm an old school sort of visual effects person, I don't really work with 3d, I use compositing. There's lots of software available so do some research on chroma keying. Putting several images together is easy, it's getting them to move in such a way that looks like this that is the true art

I made it simply with photographs. getting the movement was tricky, but done right it's very effective

The music is borrowed. Had i intened this to be something that people would really respond to then I'd have made more of an effort with it.

I'm not much into comic book super heros , but I will check out those Superman movies , if only for that incredible music ... You have a special talent for putting the right music with your animation work and also your scenes of Hawaii .
