  • we have our own different cooking techniques. kaya may mga restaurant na successful hindi ba kahit na sabihin mo pang pareho lang ang mga menus nila. It this case with kuya's Adobo, kakaiba sya.I thought saute the garlic and onion the marinated chicken unlike the other local, they just boiled that marinated chicken until the sauce is thick.. But on the other hand, they sauteed the marinated chicken followed the marinate sauce, others boiled the chicken with plain water, saute and add all ings.

  • hi kuya salamat po sa mga recipes ninyo, masarap po. bakit po dito wala yung boses ninyo? Actually, having someone tell you exactly how to cook makes a perfect recipe. And for those people who doesn't know how to appreciate music: PROBLEMA NA NINYO YAN NOH! Kuya I really appreciate your effort, thanks again! Keep it up! I love your recipes :)

  • this video is all wrong....description/recipe does not match to what you are doing as visual.............wow...confusing....

  • what an annoying bckground song . . it relates but I have to admit it kinda spoils yur appetite lol

  • pwedi bang hindi overnight ang pag marinade? pls reply back..

  • yea i agree with some one down there too...the music is very distracting...i have too mute it too...LOL

  • how about the vinegar?

  • @Ro0m309 ok its in step 5

  • @Ro0m309 add the vinegar when adding the water. Best if you use rice vinegar you can get from any store in the ethnic isles. But a regular distilled vinegar is ok.

  • Nice :D Ang sarap ng adobo :)

  • Did I miss where the vinegar fits in?

  • do you have to use the bay leaves??please anyone reply asap!!!my mom is making chicken right nnow!!

  • @Maryann1able i love to cook vry much ,but i dont knw how to cook.i wish my mom she always by my sde.

  • im trying the recipe toda!!!!

  • bkt walang potato?

  • yhup it tastes good ^^ .. its one of my favorites .. trust me, u have to try it ^^

  • @hime0420 ..thanks, I tried it. It was good and my family of 4 loved it.

  • I don't think any of the people actually tried the recipe. They say masarap, but they don't know for sure. I want to know if it's good. That it has flavor. Bec I've had similar recipes before where the chicken didn't really have any flavor. If you've trie..d it, please comment.

  • @weavervillage - Respondents are probably reacting to the delicious "look" of the dish.

As for the taste (or tastelessness) of the chicken, I think I know what you're talking about. To address this problem, I now marinate the chicken in the sauce mix overnight.

  • @PinoyMN Yeah, I know but I was looking for actual feedback bec I wanted to try it. I did try it, BTW, and it was delicious. I didn't marinate overnight but maybe next time I will and see if there is a difference in taste. thanks. I also think that cooking it down to almost no sauce changes the flavor and might be the taste I'm looking for so I'll cook it down next time.

  • @weavervillage - Great to hear it turned out well!

Interesting that you mentioned the sauce reduction, as I do that, too. Actually, my adobo entails the following: 1) Making the sauce and marinating the chicken overnight; 2) slow cooking the chicken for two hours; 3) broiling the chicken (without the sauce) on both sides for 10 minutes each; and 4) restoring some of the sauce over the chicken.

Everyone has their own interpretation of adobo. I hope you find one that works for you!

  • @weavervillage well it is very good and we are all sure..this is like the most favorite food of filipinos

  • @AnGeLovesMusiC10 thanks. I did try it and it was delicious. have a great day.

  • there is no need to marinate, its a waste of time all the ingriedients get incorporated when you cooking it. I recommend marinating only if you BBQ

  • LMAO music is great! :)

  • i hate the music....

  • @pikit

sayang ganda sana nang cooking pangit lang nang music

  • @napalm1950 I agree with you. I think Panlasang Pinoy videos are better without any music in the background. Too distracting and I have to mute the video. I hope they refrain from putting music in the background in future videos.

  • @pikitpikit

this is about cooking why are talking about the song, your a typical Filipino only see the bad side of it.

  • pangit ng music bastos

  • bukas try ko to!!pati background music gayahin ko rin hahaha..tnx

  • do you think the adobo will taste different if it is not marinated overnight?

  • it will cum

  • " Jakol it " hehehe!!!

  • tinamad?! di na nag-salita at pinaliwanag man lang kung pano niluto!

  • 2 lbs floyd mayweather (cut into serving pieces) *_*

  • Hahaha.. Ok ah, you got that right...

  • lol

  • ok ang music background ahhhh....

  • Thank you po sa Luto nyo, nabusog ako kahit pinapanuod ko lng. keep it up!

  • Is it only my family that uses pineapple juice?

  • i really think that if someone wants to learn how to cook, they should start with adobo.

  • galing mo bro. awesome foodtrip and soundtrip

  • After cooking, you need to fry the chicken in a separate pan to add a yummy gleam, then pour the soup back. If not, the meat will look boring and malabsa..

  • Husband really loves adobo..chicken or pork basta adobo.

  • maraming salamat sa luto mo...
