This was a great movie and it brought me to tears at the end, because i know the kind of dark place sam was at, though i ain't suicidal, but feeling very inferior about myself. Unfortunately alot of kids get this kind of fate, and he has no idea how lucky he was to have a father to help him out of it as his fathers last wish.

I just watched this movie on Netflix and it was so good. Tears were flowing! I have had family members die from cancer and this touched my heart. I love how Hayden Christensen's character goes from the brooding rebellious drugged teen to a loving full of possibilities young man. Great film!

First time I watched this was when it came out in 2001. I was 7 years old. I fell in love with it and cried and cried and I kept remembering it growing up, not knowing the movie's name. A couple of years ago I googled it and found it, watched it again. It was amazing. Such good performances, such good story. I recommend it to everyone.
