Yes...yes! To answer your question in the side bar on serendipitous ~ with making vids. I had that happen several times before. Of course I've had a bad habit of removing my vids after some time, so they are not up currently. But its so great when things fall together as if they were just meant to be.

This song is classically great and you have a really nice voice.

Is there a story behind the sculpture of the woman with the alien neck?

I'm not sure- there's nothing near it to indicate a story but she's full of symbolism in the apple being hidden behind her back and what seems to me to be almost a flirtatious stance. The elongated features, I think, are an abstraction of what the artist may see as the divine feminine- I say "divine" given the apple. Maybe she's Eve?

I loved this song when "Tears for Fears" did the original. I loved it when Gary Jules redid it and it was used in Donnie Darko. And now I love Syd's hauntingly beautiful version. Thanks so much for posting this, it truly is magical and the harmonies are wonderful...just like you! (((hugs))) One of those sculptures reminded me of a Henry Mooore sculpture, I wonder if it was?

I do love the original, but Jules...there's just something sublime about his subdued vocals. There's a vulnerability there- I think that's what it is! Yeah, can't say my vocals were subdued, lol but I'm glad you liked it!

And YES, that is indeed an Henry Moore piece. It's owned by the Shidoni Foundary in Tesuque, a little mountain town just outside Santa Fe. Good catch!

Holly, I'm so glad you connected with it on that level. It's really weird how it created itself- not that it's anything super-incredible, but the visuals were just random vids I'd recently taken and when I threw them together, they spoke volumes about what was going on with me. If I'd planned it out, it would've never taken that shape. I love this medium for that reason.
