The lake water is polluted and they have to shut down the beaches several times each summer, because of high levels of bacteria. This city is not all what it's made out to be. It's getting expensive (when it's not even worth it) and the only thing that looks good is the lake front areas. Other than that, it's not a world class city as they keep telling people there. I do appreciate the arts and entertainment platforms they have there and some of the architecture is interesting.

It uses city water (which is chlorinated) to replenish the fountain's water reserve as needed. The fountain recirculates its water and has a filter system to remove sand and dirt that visitors track into the pool.

Forgot to mention... it also has its own chemical conditioning system to maintain pH levels and chlorine concentration.
