Seriously though, Articuno is the only one I couldn't catch. I got both the others, but him? No, he was a jerk. Part of the reason I'm playing this game again.

You think thats great Chugga? Once I caught Articuno with a Pokeball when all I had left was 1 Pokeball and the Master Ball. Another time, in SoulSilver, I caught Ho-Oh, at half health, no status condition, first try with an Ultra Ball. While the US Rave Master Theme was playing.

Hey chuggaaconroy got the best legendary catch I've ever seen and I've got the best FAILED legendary catch i've ever seen! I was trying to catch a legendary and it's hp was red, but then it used all it's moves so it used struggle and pretty much took his own life... And I didn't save before talking to it... Thumbs up if Chuggaaconroy's catch is better than my failed catch!

In yellow version i would do a 1 poemon challenge i picked my lvl 100 articuno that i trained my self and just use peck agasint the ELITE FOUR

back in yellow and i think red/blue, you would give the fossil to the doctor, walk outside of the building, then walk back in right after you exit and then you talk back to the doctor and he will give you back whatever pokemon that came from the fossil

Yes, that was in RBY, as well as FRLG. Then, the same thing can be done in HGSS in the Pewter Museum. RSE has a guy in the Devon Corporation can also do the same. The Oreburgh mining museum in DPPt also serves this purpose. And, finally, in BW, Nacrene Museum also does this.

My brother and I were playing Pokemon Stadium Gold and Silver. We were battling and I was using a Venusaur and he used a Snorlax that had Metronome. He used Metronome and Snorlax used Fly and KOd my Venusaur. Then I throw out Feraligatr and he used Metronome again and KOd Feraligatr with Thunder. -_- My luck sucks

Legendaries are random like that. On Soul Silver, I caught Groundon in one Dusk Ball. If I anticipated it, I would have recorded it. I think for the next Pokemon game, they should have a system to save battles with Legendaries.

@AnimeOtakuStar In the area west of the fighting gym, I think you need surf and waterfall to access it, not sure if you need to beat red for it, but there's a spot where you face Groundon in Soul Silver, Kyogre in Heart Gold. I think you need to show either oak or some guy in the Pewter Museum both pokemon or I think it was some item you get for just facing them, and you'll get an emerald stone which will spawn Rayquaza in that area. it's been a while since I did it.

I caught Articuno in a Pokeball.

I started with Lapras. Lapras used safeguard, just so that none of my pokemon would get a freeze, and then I lowered its hp using my Arcanine's ember, and then I risked with Venusaur' s sleep powder.

I used about 7 ultra balls first, then 5 great balls and then 30 pokeballs.
