I have a friend who used to do this. They'd go wardriving and find open networks. Then knock on people's doors and offer to secure their connection for $50. Go in, set up a password on theri wireless router... 15 minutes, $50.
With all the protection in the world IF a hacker wants to get on, HE WILL, people lock there cars & houses, if I want in I'll just simply break your window.

in today's society it's basically not safe to even use wifi at all.. WPA,WPA2,WEP are all very crackable. Best thing is to just run Hard Wire, and no wireless. I mean hell. everyone is running iphones, xbox 360, PS3, etc.. those are targets for a handshake. The cards are cheap to buy, the software is free literally everywhere online. Theirs hundreds of videos just on youtube alone. Best thing is to prob impair the connection to the outside. put router in basement if u must use wifi.
@UnameIsTaken this video is a shame anyways.. WPA and WPA 2 is easily crackable. WPA just requires a client to be connected in order to grab the Handshake. After u capture your .cap file with 2 parts of handshake.. you can easy take that back home with u and run Dictionary and rainbow tables attacks with your video cards... crack it in minutes. Mac Filtering is also useless. it's very easy to spoof a mac address.. just clone the same one as the connected client. its permitted anyways lol.

Hackers find a way to crack an encryption algorithm, and programmers further complicate the algorithm.
