This is definitely not one of Stings biggest hits, but I would like it to be known that the lyrics to this song should be heard by many people and are so true. In my life time I have lost many good friends to the fact that they had a controlling wife who told them what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. @imoldyoung, are you kidding? This was Sting's first big hit as a solo artist, and still a staple of his concerts. But your message rings loud and clear. Why must we possess and control everything in sight?
@flybreath :) i think he started that way but my insecurities havent helped. He's a good man but knows he has issues himself. I have low points when i feel i'm not 'clever' enough. He loves to flirt with others and i struggle with that sometimes....he's really curbed it since we got together but i want him to be himself. He is always pointing out negative things in me which i could take along with the way he is if managed to give me the positives too.

Life is too short to not be happy in every way....we deserve the best each and everyone of us....i'm in love with a great guy but not sure we've enough in common. we've been together nearly two years i've learnt soooo much from him. To me, this is not one of Sting's best efforts. A big hit, but it's melody is rather simplistic. A relative throw away.
