@JWIIIman it's him screwing around on the 12 and 15 fret of the b and e strings,and with his whammy pedal he makes the pitch lower gradually, so it sounds like he's doing a fast run....i think...hahaha

When hes doing the triplet he starts off with the whammy pedal pushed down, and the Digitech Whammy pushed down. and gradually brings it back up until it is it's normal octave. and the tab is Hammer on 15 to 18th Fret and then17th Fret on the B. and Repeat.

its a DigiTech Whammy pedal that can raise the pitch of a guitar 2 octaves or lower it 2 octaves. Tom Morello also uses it frequently. IMO though, JW trademarked it...he puts it to use like no other.

The Raconteurs as a band have been playing for over 4 years now

at the time of this video they had already been playing for over 2 years.

The band had formed and started recording songs in 2004.

The songs u hear on broken boy soldiers are 10 of 22 recordings of songs ranging from covers to originals. I think that jack cant be as spontaneous because in the white stripes he is the normal crazy  front man in this bands hes a musician more than anything.

Jack white can't be as crazy with the raconteurs as with the white stripes because the chemistry isn't right. It's A LOT easier for 2 people who have been playing a band for 10 years to be in sync then a band with 4 (5 if include pianist) who haven't even been playing for a year.

whats wrong with easy drum beats? i think thats part of the charm to the white stripes, its simple and complex at the same time. everyone talks about how much she sucks, but her drum beats sound good and she does what she does well. but yeah, i do have to agree that songs like level and store bought bones both are better to me than any white stripes song, but as a whole the white stripes are a much better band.
