For your info, the trail is not called Tunnel Trail. That is a different trail in the area. Thanks for posting the video. I saw it and then rode it on my trip to the area last week.

Hi!

Santa Barbara is as I suspect you know, a couple of hours north of LA by car.

When you arrive in S.B. you will need to find Gibraltar rd wich will take you high up in the moutains above S.B. I highly recomend a GPS :-)

Please note as another member has commented, Cold springs trail and tunnel trail are to different trails. I like them both, but the latter is harder and hence Cold springs trail will be a good "intro"!

Hi again!

I'm afraid I don't know. I live in Norway and it has been over a year since I last visited. But what I do know is that recent wildfires has left many trails temporary closed. As soon as things are sorted they will open again though!
