@ColombiaCOLOMBIA100 Definitely. Head over to Steinberg and click on Cubase 6. You'll see a red "Buy" button. Click on it. Then it will ask you if you are buying new or upgrading.
Hey I loves me some Cubase! I've got 6, but have not installed it yet. I'm waiting until I'm not midway through any projects. Is this Cubase 6 that you are doing these demos on?
@ChadWork1 These tutorials were done on Cubase 5, but Cubase 6 is supposed to be here yesterday. I know they changed almost nothing between Cubase SX3 and Cubase 5 so I'm not expecting any miracles. In fact, I was shocked by the near-zero learning curve of upgrading to 5. I am excited about multi-track lane editing, which should be awesome for drums....always a pain in the ass with Cubase 5 and lower.
@MercyStudios Thanks for the tip. I guess I could have re-read the entire manual to get familiar with all their proprietary terms. The beauty of the video is I can shake the "thingy" on the screen and people will know what I'm referring to.
@hazardouslee1 My system runs very, very well. Macs are a different tool with a different design philosophy. I'm nerdy, don't mind building my own computers, and have work on them if things go wrong. The additional costs of Mac won't benefit me as much as users from less-nerdy places.
so where can we hear the final version of your song(s)? always good to hear what a teacher is actually making... ; )

@rudeboys28712 I've heard this rumor too, but I'm leery to make an assessment on the Mac/PC issue with Cubase without more info.
