Got a 2002 XTC2 yesterday... used to have an Intense Uzzi SL from the same year... like the Giant better :) still trying to figure out how to work the SID though.
Nice video. I have a 2005 Carbon NRS I built with XT/XTR components, a Pace RC-41 carbon fork, Ellsworth XC wheelset, and Magura Louise Bat brakes. Can send pictures for your video if you would like. Total weight for my build was somewhere around 25 pounds.
I have just built up a 2004 nrs 4, with new avid juicy 3 hydraulics, rock shox sid, and a complete bearing change ready for (hopefully) this year's race season :)
I have a 2004 NRS and it rocks. too bad Giant dropped the design in favour of Maestro system . One design flaw is that it used to break at the weld where seatpost and top tubes attach.
@colongil NRS. Maestro has a design flaw of it's own - it bobs like most other suspensions, unlike NRS which was solid while you were pedalling and active on obstacles.Anotherwords, Maestro is not as efficient

@44lucas That flaw in the design is for the Maestro system or the ''old'' NSR?

@colongil NRS. Maestro has a design flow of it's own - to bobs like other suspensions where NRS was solid under pedalling.
