so...pray for the people...to hold on...until that time...always have faith...trust GOD...and do your best...is all anyone can ask...don't carry the burden as yours alone...its all of ours...and we can't all go to Dafar...but can pray for those there...and each day show kindness to the brother of sister close we can reach out to...and perhaps that...the tiniest of ripples will reach across th ocean...and make the difference...good luck...
it is the worlds window of where in time of where we will draw the lines in the sand that define humanity and the value of human life...now and in the future...though the charges have been laid...we simply do not have the forces available at this time to remove the leadership in power responsible...
I think Mr Clonney has done his best...however it is one thing to see video and another to walk along side of those suffering and surrounded by so much need...that even he can get lost or beaten down by an almost hopelessness of the situation....but he does not carry this burden alone...though it would seem hes trying...
State the facts, outline the successes and the timeline...don't dwell on the negetive of now...outline the possibility for change...emphasis the hope! for the future..make the arguement state your case...and NEVER...use the holocaust as a reference...don't beg!?...the africa culture and people are not beggars...but have pride and simple need a chance...demand that GOD given right for them!...
I give you the blessings from my heart - you step out and have done great thing to make people aware of the Darfu issues ... it is a very brave move and remind people who really need our love and action.
George Clooney, you are a great man who moves a step that means everything.
look, everyone has opinions and has a right to express their opinion. but I think the problem with celebrities is the only reason their allowed to go make speeches and get in front of the UN is because their celebrities. not because their qualified in anyway. and that annoys people who ARE qualified.
Thank you for posting this video. I am so proud of George for not being afraid to try to make a difference. He truly cares and is intelligent enough to understand the issues. He is using his celebrity status for something positive, not to make himself more rich. This speech was amazing.
Wow! Hard hitting. I like that he doesn't pull his punches. I only wish he'd had this kind of clout and been able to help out during the Rwanda genocide. That was horrendous.
What a hero... One of the greatest guys out there. A real guy in Hollywood for once. A real celebrity. :-) He's my role model for becoming an actor when I grow up.
Why isn't anyone watching this??? What is wrong with you people?? Thank god for Clooney and his personal campaign to bring attention to the slaughter of innocent civilians in Darfur. This is a disgrace!!
The death and destruction of the Innocent that are a daily occurrence, as the world
stands in silence. May the words, Never Again, Not on our watch become real. And breathe life into a United Nation that has turned a deaf ear and eye.
If the United Nations is going to act like a tombstone agency then the United States is responsible to end the war over their, yet we the people of America are too busy working, too busy watching TV, to busy wishing we never voted for Nazi Bush. NumbersUSA is a good site to fax free letters.
see the below passage...i was in a better mood that day...TODAY...MY CHILDREN MATTER...but good luck

Yes, there is a holocaust going on right now in Sudan, with a greater number of people dying than the time of the Jews, and who is listening?

This is so sad that these horrific murders are being ignored. Why can't the UN help these people? This is outrageous.

Clooney spoke to the UN Security Council in NYC in September 2006, according to the U.S. Dept. of State.

Don't forget about the Invisible Children in N. Uganda!!!! Thank you again for using your voice as a celebrity to enlighten the unenlightened.

Mr Clooney a articulate message to our UN.

stands in silence. May the words, Never Again, Not on our watch become real. And breathe life into a United Nation that has turned a deaf ear and eye.
