@donmoreno25 Well it certainly is Portuguese music when you're talking about the language used. And to be polite, this music was not recorded in Angola and the main producer is Portuguese. Clearly this music has a European electronica feel to it so you can't say this is how kaduro sounds in Angola. Buraka is great because of their mix of Portuguese elements from around the world.

Não sou o maior fã de Buraka, mas o sucesso internacional dos Buraka só mostra que não precisamos de inventar muito, basta fazermos aquilo em que acreditamos e ir buscar às nossas raízes. Aliás, os estrangeiros não querem mais uma cópia dos mesmos formatos pop, rock e hiphop (em que eles são melhores btw), querem algo novo, diferente e específico, como isto. O fado é outro exemplo. Buraka Som Sistema,acabou de perder a originalidade do kuduro ! Trocaram a vocalista antiga por uma "monumento"(exibindo curvas) que está mais pra comercial do que cantar o kuduro de raiz! Isso agora está qualquer coisa menos kuduro,..porque a vocalista antiga tinha uma forma de cantar que esta não nem ,...a musica cantada por ela perdeu simplesmente o ritmo.
