Well..... Geographically speaking Britian is the island in which the countries Wales, England and Scotland are. So from a pure geographical perspective any of these accents could be regarded as British. Though I know that most people regard the English accent as the British accent

i don't think it sucks, even more that I've found out that he's not American. I know how it feels to speak a non native language every day (im hispanic studying at the US), and also the implications of one's origins accent, always present even when we try to hide it. He does really good in the series!!. that makes me love him and admire him even more as a person and as an actor!
