i pick up these snowblowers off the road all the time, usually i tear them apart to make stuff with them. i am now working on making a go-kart out of one.
i dont think they make these anymore. Everything new ive seen has a chute. They suck because the chut always clogs up expecially on the small ones. Get them while you can because soon there will be no more. people are throwing these all away and its probably going to be hard to get parts for if toro hasnt already discontinued them.

Not really. Toro still has paddles and scrapers. All the carb parts are generic Tecumsah and still common on newer machines.
You might have trouble finding a complete engine, But everything else is pretty easy to come by.

i have a spare engine for this so im not worried about it. i used it today and ran about a gallon of gas through it and it ran extremely well.
