Something about this vocal doesn't work. If you imagine a smooth vocal with nice vibrato, and it interpolating when the song speeds up...rather than sitting suspended by hoarseness, you realize the song exceeds the vocal.

So very true. I believe Perry produces Courtney's music, now, and she's done well since she has managed her. Love looks pretty good here. I just wish Perry would get back to recording. Her vocals were so strong. Perry has done incredibly well for herself despite the limelight. She manages some of what are recognized as top performers and is a major player herself.
