  • whoa that was uneven

  • I'm doing this piece for my piano exam too.

  • im doing this piece in my piano exam! im 12 and im on grade 5. all distinctions so far, but i am finding it hard to find time for practicing this year :(

  • A little bit too fast.. Its Allegretto not Allegro or Presto!!

  • Tune that piano!

  • Wow...doesn't anyone know Rubato wasn't even used in the Classical Period? Chopin used Rubato! It makes the tempo very unconsistent!

  • i'm playing this in the u12 comps. hope it goes well!!!!! your piano sounds.. metallic. but awesome playing!!!!!!!!

You're right, this is terrible! The rhythm is completely destroyed, there is no staccato, which really makes or breaks this gorgeous composition.

    Thank you, MrVincent57

  • i am playing this song at the university of washington this march

  • way too much pedal, there are staccatos.

  • you play very good!!!the forte pianissimo piano crescendo!very good!

  • Excelente.

Me encanta el sonido de tu piano, tiene algo de parecido con un Clavicordio.

  • ur piano sounds...?electronic? o.O

    hard to describe..

  • Very expressive! I like very much how you manage to play piano and then forte in the same passage... very clean (sorry for my limited English)

I wish the sound was a little better.

Don´t you use the pedal too much?

  • r u guys musicians? you keep saying oh the pacing is bad work on timing but this player is clearly doing the piece the way he thought it would sound best being a musician is about finding you own sound and expressing yourself i think its great

  • I dont know why everyone is saying something about your timing, almost the whole video your timing was fine, and I liked how you slowed it down then sped it up, that gave it a good feel, my only thing is you should have tuned your piano lower, I dont think you need a new piano you just need a new camera. Keep up the great work.

  • I agree. changing the speed adds more feeling to the piece.

There shouldn't be so much pedal though...

  • Yeah, I see what you mean, pretty much every note he played had pedal in it, so if he kept the speeds the same and eased off the pedal here and there then this would be perfect.

  • u need a bit more dynamics but it is very good man im doing this peice for my grade 6!!!!! :)

  • fast then slow fast and then slow...

    practice at a steady speed...

  • Please remember to COUNT!

  • u guys really dont understand piano, do you? its called a rubato and its an way to show expression by giving certain parts more dynamic and speed.

  • It's beautiful, but you completely disregarded what Beethoven put down on the page...

  • Suuper. Je le travaille moi meme en ce moment (L) Bisous et Très bon Travail !

  • STEADY!!! Your counting is ALL off!

  • Not bad...you need a better piano

  • Cool. I'm trying to learn this right now and I haven't done anything technical in over two years. I haven't even played a Classical piece in over two years. I usually just fuck around and write, but when I saw this in the book I had to try it. I think it's a beautiful song. I went here to hear what it sounded like played well. Thanks for that :D

  • Fairly clean. I don't like the pedal. The greatest want is more dynamic contrast.

  • more stacato!!!! and a bit slower!

  • Ok but the tempo is too unsteady.

  • Sorry I meant the tempo is unsteady.

  • The tempo is unstable. Also, don't overuse the pedal. Try to play with dynamics, and don't slow down unless the music tells you to. Especially the middle part, don't play so fast. Its 8th notes but instead your playing sixteenth or even thirthy-seconds. Good effort!

  • ya...too much pedal, and it's a staccato, but nice speed

  • i dont know what is wrong with your piano but i think you should tune it quickly

  • do urself a favr nd get santa 2bring u a nu piano!!

  • Have you ever heard of such a thing as a staccado?!! It is very, very clear in the notes!!!

You play very weirdly on piano!

    Crying Out Loud dude!

  • Tempo! It needs more improvment. Do you have a metronome?!?! Don't use so much pedal!

  • Tempo! It needs MORE improvment. Use a metronome!

  • WTF is with da tempo. So friken fast!!!!!!!!!! dude, i mean...........arrrrrrgh!!such a good piece played so messily

  • good stuff... i recorded myself playing that one, check it out!

  • holy shit, your tempo is all over the place.

i had to learn this song for my grade seven piano and it sounds better if you have a nice steady tempo thoughout the piece.

  • hey... try to use a metronom some time

  • Horrible..what about the "tempo"?

  • nice

  • Awesome!!!

  • sweet

  • Wow.... I don't think you should attempt such pieces before at least becoming a well-established musician... the Bagatelli are Beethoven's last pieces and should not be taken lightly!!!

  • Great skill- love your co-ordination

  • Great Stuff man!!

  • beautiful

  • you played okay. But I would play it with more emotion and sentiment...not that fast ;o)

  • Good job. Only, less pedal and you forget the staccato where it should be.

  • YOU RO-HHOOCK :p

  • Again... I'm listening again to this part... :D This work is very amazing, I love it..

  • I love Beethoven so mutch, I had listened your part so mutch that I was dreamin' away... Some parts seem to take you to above, others are very slowly and make my dream like he did... As you can see, I love Beethoven. I love the way you play the piano, very well done!

  • There's certainly talent in there. Keep practising!

  • The piano sounds a bit... metallic, but you're a good pianist. Keep training !

  • Great job!!, I think you play it a little faster than I think it should be played, but it sounds great anyway!, keep up the good work!

  • You are definitely better than all the other youtube beethoven pianists. Jeez. They suck, and you're good.

  • thanks.....thanks :(

  • i love it!

  • effin amazing

  • just amazing!!!

  • You have some natural talent dude.. i couldnt play that in a millon years.. keep playing, dont give up.

  • Bagatelle Op. 119 no. 1

  • true, my mistake.

  • thought so. I knew it wasn't a sonata.

  • Great job!

wow, that's a really bright sounding piano.

  • beautiful sonnata ..with amazing skills I give my appreciation ;)

  • I like it, too! just one thing - I think you could use a little less pedal!

btw for how long have you been playing the piano? you move your hands nicely!!!

and what make of piano is that?

    nice job!

  • thanks, i played 7 years, then i stoped for 3 and now started playing again... i learned to play this piece about 7 years ago... the hayden sonata i learned about 5 yeard ago.

    its a yamaha piano.

  • isn't this one of his bagatelles?

  • Great video! who plays on the piano? is it u... if it is u ... then ... U roole at playi'n! of it's not u...well tell the person that played that he/she rock!
