Really are you Jim Greeninger? *-* I love the way you play the guitar, the feeling at every song, the sound, the technique... I want to say... you are the best (Y) someday i wanna be as good as you. I would like to talk with you someday.
Jim? Can you tell me what you practiced to get this good. I am also interested in playing like this :) and do greg bennett acoustic guitars work for classical?
@MrBose820 East Indian rosewood back and sides, German spruce top, Cedaro de Cuba neck and brace stock. LR Baggs pickup, Shure wireless system. I often use a Bose system as well.
Someone below was discussing subject of how tone is produced.
i think it is really both. Of course wood , strings and construction are crucial.
But at the same time 'technique' how the strings are set in to motion. the angle, force, where on the string (soundhole vs bridge) nail condition are ESSENTIAL!
I was paying Kottke's Fisherman last night, experimenting with where on the string I was playing.....my wife looked over in disbelief at the tonal variation. Pretty cool thing about nylon!
I would absolutely LOVE to find a tremolo version of this for the piano which has lots of running notes, fast moving internal cadences and deep infusing lower bass chords and richness. All of the piano versions I've heard of this sound quite simplistic and pedantic. The more notes in it the more you can speed up and then slow down. If any ideas where to find something like this please let me know.
Maestro i have a suggestion........ why don;t you record Capricho Arabe By Fransisco Tarrega and put it up so i can see you play it... you are my favorite classical guitar player i'd love to see your version...
so funny how it looks like he's doing the same thing w his right figures over n over yet producing different notes, either he's a pro or fake playing, haha, i think pro tho.
romance is a piece in which it doesn't matter how fast you play but how completed the sound is...if he played it a little bit slower and there weren;t any blanks in his sound, i would call him great... if ytou want you can listen to evangelos assimakopoulos version...it's much better...
Can anyone post a "guitar pro" file of this song PLEASE! or tell me where I can find one. I play a simple version of this and it sounds like crap compared to this one.
thank you very much, it sign that a guitare is not a simple instrument, but it gives so much peoples which can't play it, me include,,, the only what can help is, ,, a very good trainingplan
I know wut u mean man. I can rip the shit out of an electric guitar. I can get stuff to sound pretty and with alot of feeling. But Wow this is just like picasso. I don't come close to this. Speed wise yes. But not the feeling wise. The feeling he puts in is almost alien
@BallerPimp3243 i think its that basically he's hitting A LOT more notes than players usually do for that piece, and he's using a few different kinda 'bridge notes' if you no what i mean! =D
