  • Wait so are Yuria and Lyn newtypes or something?

  • Juuza was fucking stupid in taking Koku-oh back to Raoh. Wasn't it the point to slow him down? Why the fuck would he give him back his HORSE when he so painstakingly managed to steal it?

  • Juuza could have slowed down Raoh, if he wasn't so prideful and didn't ignore his past wound.

  • Love how Roah gives Juuza respect even after all the trolling Juuza did.

  • Juuza fought bravely until the end...

  • Raoh get fingered.

  • @KurtAngle89

    quoto in tutto fratello :)

  • 1:02 'I swear by God I'll found out who the GENERAL is...'

Not 'star'. They correct it later on but WTF. I do wonder what HoM's boys were smokin' sometimes.

  • Raoh has to be at least 11 stories tall.

  • ジュウザ...かっこよすぎるよ...

  • What's wrong, Rin?

Just now, someone got their fuck knocked in!

  • my hero , still fighting aafter death

  • juuzu was rei, toki, shuu all in one he was truly the best

  • the part that sucks about this clip is that they edit out the part when the horse starts to bury juuza shortly after his death because he was the only man with balls to take the horse from roah while making roah look like a fool for doing that.

  • Anybody know the name of the song that plays in the background of this fight?

  • Souther vs juuza. Personally I think souther would have been able to defeat juuza without a problem, although not as easy as raoh unless souther = raoh.

  • @heretowatchvideos100 Hard to call, really. I definitely agree he'd beat Juuza, but it could be anywhere from a total curbstomp to a near draw. Going by the Ten no Haoh story, Raoh and Souther are pretty much even, and in fact Souther might have a slight edge (but not enough to walk away without missing a limb or two, thus why striking a truce was a good idea). However, I believe Raoh improved a lot since then, and would probably tool Souther later on.

  • R.I.P. Juuza of the Clouds, AKA Troll of the North Star.

  • if I remember from the wiki page that raoh and his men gave him a burial with full honors cause how frightening his attacks were against raoh correct?

  • Juzza was all

  • I just contribute everyone's enormous size to radiation and not dwell on MINOR DETAILS of the story and continue to enjoy the anime.

If you're looking for "realistic" anime isn't the thing for you.

  • @Maryukujin Raoh is "only" 6'12" in height (210 cm) official data. Big and tall, but nowhere near the size he appears to be in some scenes. Fudo, the biggest for whom there is official data, is 7'5" (225 cm).

In the manga and anime sometimes they make characters look huge, but it's for "artistic" emphasis... No character is actually superhuman size... Devil reborn, the biggest in HNK, would probably the closest to it and honestly I don't think he would be taller than 8'5" (no official data).

  • @brobbus0 shit that's all??? I know they arent really the size of optimus prime, but only 6'11? raoh should be 7'8.

  • @heretowatchvideos100 Yep, like I said, all the characters are human size... 6'11" is still a big guy especially consider how muscular he is, though. Kenshiro is 6'1".

  • @brobbus0 Thank's for the info.

  • @brobbus0 Kenshiro is more like 5'9. That being said, real heights have no meaning in this series, as some of the characters are twenty times Kenshiro's height or more...

  • @brobbus0 There is no "official data". Applying real world heights to Kenshiro characters is laughable. The average height of bad guy cannon fodder in this series is about 12 feet. Devil, the character you made reference to, couldn't be any less than 80 feet tall...

  • @Hastings791 Actually, you are wrong. Make sure you know your shit before you call something "laughable". There is official data, just because you don't know about it, it doesn't mean there isn't. Consult the Hokuto wiki (Google is your friend) to see it.

  • @brobbus0 How can there be official data on an animated series lol. If some fanboy typing in random into on wikipedia is "official" to you, then that's your problem...

  • @Hastings791 And no, nobody and I mean NOBODY in this series is 12 feet tall. The proportions are messed up just for artistic emphasis, and you can tell they are by the fact that they vary all the time. Obviously if you think there's somebody 12 feet tall, never mind 80, you don't know shit about this series.

  • @brobbus0 I've watched the series since I was a child. The vast majority of the characters in the series, ie, the badguy cannon fodder characters, are, on average, three feet taller than Kenshiro. If the proportions are "messed up", then thats how large the characters were meant to be. The fist of the north star series is highly fantasized, to try and milk out realistic human proportions out of a series whose characters are as tall as 80 feet, is a nerd's errand. Don't get mad bro :)..

  • @Hastings791 The point is, the size of people you see as they are drawn bear no real meaning, other than emphasize how menacing they look in that particular scene. These are people, not monsters, and at no point the manga and anime say they are not human or even that they are mutated humans. Yes, sometimes people *appear* to be 3 or 4 times taller than people of regular height, but they really are not -- as the fact that in other scenes the proportions look very different shows.

  • @brobbus0 Officially Raoh is 6'11'', but in our real world, he must be between 8 and 9 ft (probably 8'2'' or 250 cm). Raoh is a monster, in HNK game (PS3), he's too big, and here not have scenes where characters turns giants, like the original series.

And Fudo is a giant, possibly 11 to 12 feet, compared with Kenshiro and children. Devil Rebith must be 50 feet.

Great Khali is 7'3'' and if you compare him with a man of 6'1'' (John Cena) like Kenshiro, i don't see the same difference.

  • @Maryukujin Sorry... correction, Raoh is 6'11", not 6'12"...

  • @Maryukujin Raoh, appearing to dwarf other martial artists is a stylistic thing. He's BIG but he's not actually that big, but he's portrayed like that to drive it into the ground that they're up against someone so advanced and strong, the odds of them winning is next to none.

  • raoh's on danabol hahaha

  • The art style in these old anime is so amazing. They use symbolism in the images in order to communicate feelings, attitudes and the overall atmosphere. That is why in some scenes Raoh appears gigantic compare to his opponent, in order to portray a huge disparity in strength and aura. But in that part where Raoh shows Juuza his ultimate technique but Juuza just keeps moving forward, they made Juuza temporarily larger to show his grandeur and Raoh's fear.

  • @shadowkill546 Yeah, you're educated or smart. I can tell by the way you wrote your posts. Finally someone who understands literature and art. "Why is so big?". Or "why are they so huge?" is commonly asked on HNK videos, but I could never accumulate the appropriate words to reply.

  • Had been onaired by FUJITV in Japan, and now the tv channel is doing irregal-ish behavior for a foreign country's propaganda!

    /fujitv

  • あれ アニメにはユリアとケンシロウの後姿見送りながら ユリア==って叫ぶ回想シーンってなかったっけ?

  • Juuza is my new favorite character. Rein and Kenshiro are out of the running.

Even though he died , Juuza was badass. And i like the living free mentality.

  • @nichirenx juuza was indeed epic, one of the best chars in HnK

  • @itachizetsupein I am going to get the whole old school series and newer adaptations.

  • @nichirenx Cool, gud 4 u

  • @nichirenx if only HnK2 was as good as the first part...

  • @itachizetsupein I take it you have already seen HNK2, how much worse is it?

I know the New FONT 3 part OVA had nice graphics but was way less brutal and hard than the original. Too tender for my tastes.

  • @nichirenx

If you are referring to the Episodes 110 to 152, they are actually quote good. The pacing is much better than in the original series, the story moves along faster and there are almost no filler episodes. The first story arc about the capital of light and the Gento fighters is on par with HNK1. It kind of goes downhill in the second story arc.

But up unto that point I can really recommend it.

  • @Kuner1 Thank you.

  • @nichirenx it cant compare to HnK part 1, HnK2 the ONLY thing it has in its favor is decently good fights, like ken vs han, but bsides that, its shit compared to the original

and i havnt seen the OVAs

  • @itachizetsupein I understand. Quite a few anime are rarely as good as their predecessors.

  • @itachizetsupein The OVAs suck balls. They aren't even written by the same guys. The voice acting is horrible except for Ken.

  • @theshooter2000 Then it would seem they arent woth my time

  • @itachizetsupein Not really. Some are retellings so I guess updated animation is nice. But even my ex gf from Japan when we watched them together thought they were okay at best. Raoh's series was by far the most disappointing IMO.

  • @itachizetsupein I did think Kaioh was fucking ridiculous in his mindset. A true villain in every sense of the word with almost no redeemable qualities. I wanted Raoh to live, but when Kaioh died, I didn't have one bit of remorse for the bastard.

  • @theshooter2000 I couldn't agree more.

Honestly, I always felt Kaioh was just not very interesting, not nearly as good a character as Raoh, or even Souther and Shin. Then again I must say that on the whole, the 2nd series (the one that came after Raoh's final battle with Kenshiro) was just not nearly as good as the first.

  • @brobbus0 True that. I think the HnK2 had some redeemable qualities in it, but as a whole was just not up to par. From what I've read about it, Buronson and Hara didn't want to do the second series, but did it out of contractual obligations. This could explain the other problems they had. Then again, I haven't read the manga, so it's possible that it followed it very close.

On a positive note Kaioh provided us w/a template for nearly every insanely powerful villain in other Japanese media.

  • He had poor character development and it made him just another Raoh copy.

Raoh despite how awfull he became I had great respect for him at the end of it when lot of things made sense on why he wanted so bad to be a cold hearted conqueror ruling the world with an iron fist.

  • @theshooter2000 Indeed, Raoh was a better villain, also one with more redeeming qualities, Kaioh was more of a bastard!!, he was a "majin" after all

  • @itachizetsupein Kaioh was a badass too. And yes he's a bastard. Twice as evil than Raoh.

Its interesting how both brothers deaths were so epic.

  • @theshooter2000 You're absolutely right, man. I was fucking happy to see the bastard die. And i didn't like a bit they tried to "redeem" him in the end, like they did for practically ALL the villains in the series.

  • The reason Raoh looks so fucking huge is because the animators drew the main characters at a size that represents their "touki," or fighting spirit in certain scenes (typically fighting scenes). Basically their aural presence is that size, while their actual size is smaller.

Even so, their actual physical size is fucking monstrous.

  • @Rygith That's not exactly true. The original art-style of Tetsuo Hara was to exaggerate the size of the more physically imposing characters. That's why Zeed was frickin' massive in the first chapter and Fudou's size varied on from one panel to the next.

  • he cuts raoh by spitting on him. now that's badass!

  • 3:13 EPIC HEADBUTT!!

  • If this were DBZ, they would have wished Juza back to life and made his heroic death meaningless. Hence why HNK is better than DBZ, when people die in HNK they STAY (1 exception) dead and their deaths actually mean something.

  • @Maryukujin Amen to that, and they come up with so many great characters in HNK!!! No wonder they ended up creating several spin-offs,

  • @Maryukujin Who was brought back? Yuria? I wouldn't call that exactly bringing her back. A case could be made that her death wasn't confirmed (not really, but obviously that's what they were going for). Although, I'd argue that Ken died during the Shin fight and we got a badass when he came back in episode 1.

  • @theshooter2000 That's what I mean, she was officially "Killed" they just made you think she was dead and brought her back later as a twist with a "HAHA! she's not dead!" that was the closest thing they did to bringing someone back.

Worked much better, they didn't do it in such cliche fashions whenever someone died. Typically anime characters aren't killed off til the end of a season or the end of the series, they killed people off left and right in HNK.

  • @Maryukujin lol, so true. My friend from Japan told me Yuria was the final "boss" and after the suicide I thought, how the hell could that happen? Then I learned, how, lmao.

One of my favorite parts of HnK is the insane amount of innocent people and good guys get killed. Not that I like to see it happen, but it's more realistic than a hero that saves ALL of the citizens in danger. And yeah, I always tell people in HNK, people die. Good, bad and even children. WTF saw Shiba's death coming???

  • @theshooter2000 That was something I really liked about it. Other animes, TV Shows, Movies, Video games and such it's always SO predictable when someone is gonna die and WHO is gonna die. HNK the only characters to make it through the show or most of it were Ken, Yuria (being "dead" for 3/4ths of it), Mamiya (who is easily the artists being lazy since she looks just like Yuria in dif clothes) Lin and Bart. EVERYBODY else dies.

  • @Maryukujin Agreed, it just made for a better story all the way around. TBH, because so many good guys get killed and because Raoh is so fucking insane, I was actually not sure Kenshiro would win in the final episode of the first series. I mean in the back of my mind, I figured he would, but when Raoh struck his point, I seriously thought he might end it right there. I mean the writers clearly didn't mind almost killing Ken prior to this. Maybe they'd actually finish him off was my thinking lol

  • @Maryukujin My only complaint about the original show was the little background they gave on Jagi. I felt his hatred and rivalry w/Ken should have been expanded more. If he was so weak and evil why was he even chosen to practice Hokuto Shinken in the first place? Why does Jagi not like Ken, but have no problems w/Toki? So many questions about Jagi that make me wish he wasn't killed off so easily.

  • @theshooter2000

I agree with you, if he was so weak why was he close to the other brothers? Plus, when he was younger he didn't look like a creep. They basically said that since he was older than Kenshiro, he felt that Kenshiro was disrespecting him by being strong. Basically he became insecure/weak, whereas as the other brothers were older and therefore rightfully stronger.

  • thios was like one if not the best fight in the series (honestly the fights should of last longer)

  • Juuza is the man.I cant tell you how manly i felt after watching this fight.its like i have doubled my testosterones.

  • @biterness2323 same here i got my beard and chest hair doubled with in 5 mins 35 seconds

  • juuza you got balls as solid steel ha ha

  • I made an AMV for Juuza, it's on my channel if anyone's interested. This is a great scene and I hate to think that it's non-canon since the manga version ended at :34 apparently.

  • juuza and ryuuga are one of the best

  • @stryfe1000 Ryuga can't be spoken in the same breath as Juza.

  • Damn... Juuza's such a badass. It's a shame he had to die..

Manly tears were shed for Juuza..

  • To fight against Raoh is suicide and i wanted Juuza to live, unfortunately it wasnt meant to. The human cloud became 1 with the heavens. He was a rascal and a ladies man but it was all a lie because he couldnt be with his 1 true love. I really felt sorry for him, drowning his sorrow behind his lust for girls. A real player in my books and 1 of the manliest too. Wish i could have as many women like he did, DAMM!

  • for as much of a jerk Roah can be, he gives people their due props.

    Juuza. Manly tears.......

  • SO..FUCKING....MANLY

  • 0:32 epic laugh

  • great anime

  • ciao, ma come si chiama la canzone che e alla fine del video??

  • Raoh is so awesome that he dont need to fist the ground to make a hole... just the wind impact he creats from its impulse is enough!

  • What anime is this? Looks pretty good.

  • @Crossroads551 Don't you really know this anime? Strange, it's very popular...belong to anime's History! Is hard to believe there is someone who does not know the legend of Hokuto, the fist of the north star! You have to study...B-)

  • @djDiagOnfly Sadly most so-called otakus don't know this anime. I went to an anime meetup club that knew the modern shit, but not one person had ever seen this or anything earlier than 2000. WTF??? Fist of the North Star, Hokuto No Ken, GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!

  • @theshooter2000 Otaku wannabes, i only started being an otaku since around 2006, and i know most classics, like SS, Ronin warriors, HnK, DQ, etc., old school anime tends to be good

  • @itachizetsupein IDK, pretty much every otaku I've ever met has not watched this series. They know it by name at best, but that's all. Never seen Fatal Fury series, the Professional or any of the older stuff either. I think the oldest they've seen is Trigun. I pretty much don't even consider people that have watched HnK an otaku. They have too much taste to be otakus, lol.

  • @theshooter2000 There wannabe Otakus, hmfff

  • @theshooter2000 Yeah, I'm totally agree: if you don't know Hokuto no Ken, you cannot called otaku! It's like a doctor doesn't know anatomy...there is only one word for this: ignorance!

  • @Crossroads551 In case you couldn't understand diag it is hokuto no ken *translated as fist of the north star*

  • @Warpedpixel051 ahh I see thanks

  • 名勝負 ゾクゾクする

  • raoh sounds like a monster .

  • He steals Raoh's horse.

    He calls Raoh a dickhead.

    He gives Raoh the finger.

How big are Juza's balls? They have to be made of carbon steel.

  • @Jaimas Agreed

  • @Jaimas His Balls must be big brave MANLY ones, which is as manly as this anime.

  • @Jaimas He even tell's Raoh to kiss his ass.

  • @Jaimas I think he is just so mad that he can't realize what opponent is in front of him!!

  • @Jaimas Not to mention he spit blood in his face!

  • Atleast he died smiling. What a way to go.

  • 4.113 so this is where the matrix got the bullet time idea ...

  • Raoh's secret is Weight Gain 4000 and a diet consisting of 3 gallons of puppy blood and 3 dozen kittens each morning.

  • flip him the bird. yes give him the finger

  • 2:28

Epic and sad moment, I almost cried at "Farewell, Yuria" :(

  • Dickhead xD

  • 2:28: Oh no! Not the Raging Demon!

  • Look at Juuza's hand at 1:16!!! hahahaha!

  • Raoh's a fucking dick head xDDDD

  • Very well. I shall impede your movement by killing you. lmao

  • word, juuza is the man. but raoh beats him, fairly easily. what does that tell you lol

  • @jdspencer60 Size DOES matter.

  • Raoh's "Secret technique" is just a Hyakuretsu Ken.

He keeps it a secret because Kenshiro's puts his to shame :P

  • Can anyone tell me what is the height and weight of raoh ; please?

  • @tanjim1262 Raoh's supposed to be really tall 6"11 i think but the animation wanted him to seem more like a gigantic tyrannt for a little "holy shit" effect

  • @cocobear369 True that, they make him absurdly large in certain scenes, i.e hand being larger than another man's entire body. Or a finger the size of a small child.

  • @n00bcakey keep in mind Gou No Ken probably makes him considerably larger, remember when Toki hit his power points to replicate Gou No Ken and he got huge too

  • @jdspencer60 i think that might be true in fight sequences, but the finger size of small child part, he was passing through a town, not fighting.

  • @jdspencer60 toki was only able to get that big because of that point press during that fight. iirc, that pressing of the point shortened his life span. raoh is naturally huge. i kinda like seeing raoh the size of godzilla sometimes, especially when he is delivering his colossal disembodied falcon punches, just look at what it did to hyuui ;) NYYUUUUAAAHH *dead hyuui*

  • @tanjim1262 APROX 8.1 FEET TALL AND 600LB

  • What kind of head they have?

  • i move and do as i please , im of the clouds

  • i move and do as i please , i'm of the ckouds

  • juuza rules

  • rebirth more time then jesus xD

  • i dont know why in the musou tensei thing, juzaa dont appear instead of the fucking bastard of souther...

  • @MoliYabuki probably because kenshiro wan't there when he died

  • @ToyGuruMan yes, you are right

  • if the question "Why won't you die?" is ever asked in HNK, then it's truly valid.

  • I think when it comes to HNK, if the question "Why won't you die?" is ever asked then it's a truly valid one.

  • juza is the best

  • THIS DUDE FUCKING KEPT ON FIGHTING WHEN HE WAS DEAD MANLY TEARS WE WEPT

  • Juza, a REAL MAN!! Died for his woman! BUT WHY!!! WHY!?!!?!?! ISN'T HE IN HOKUTO MUSOU/KEN'S RAGE?! ITS RETARDED!!!! why heart... heart sucks compare to Juza.........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I'M STILL PISSED ABOUT THAT!!!!!

  • If he could evade all his attacks in that state, why didn't he evade the attacks from before?

  • @Renulph Well, this isn't a canon-fight because it was shorter in the manga. But Juza put everything into one 'do-or-die' attack on Raoh in the previous fight and got too close. So, he could dance all night if he wants but he can never get close enough to Raoh without getting stomped.

  • 1:15 OH FUCK

  • Juuza was the free. god bless him

  • what song on 2:55?

  • @powerbeam08 'Higeki no Hoshi no Shita ni'

  • 1:15 raising the middle finger to raoh is like having truly a death wish!

  • It's a fucking joke that Juuza wasn't in that ps2 fighting game.

  • Raohs a...... Fucking dickhead, oh god I lold. Especially at the part when he was just laughing his ass off after

  • 01:58

    Key-animation: Kia Asamiya

  • juuza has three stars...on his arm...1:06
