Just to be clear, I never counted the Blazers out. And I never said sweep while many analysts said sweep after Game 1. I respect that young Blazers team, although I think officiating tonight sucked on both ends. The first quarter was nothing but fouls.

And I'm not trying to disrespect the team, but Przybilla did nothing but flop on the floor, and Aldridge and Oden played dirty. But props to B-Roy. Definitely earned his shots.

Tough loss tonight but close the whole way.

Honestly, you can't unless you're a seasoned veteran (like Shaq) But even Shaq has trouble guarding him by himself. When Phoenix came to town at the game I went to on March 6 the only reason Yao was ineffective was because they swatted at Yao's hookshot, and dribbles from in front of him while he was looking back and backing Shaq down into the post

His only flaw is he's clumsy because he's so tall. But he's still a young player in the league. He's still got a lot to learn. But I agree with you.

I couldnt believe the beatdown that we took from the Rockets =(. I am a lifetime Portland Trailblazer fan and i said that the Houston Rockets were the one team besides the Lakers that I didnt want us to play in the playoffs in the first round. But dont count out the blazers yet they are young but when they get hot they are almost unstoppable. They have games like last night where they play like dog shit. Props to the Rockets but game 2 will be much different. GOOOOOO BLAZERS!

let me tell you something bro. I am a huge TB fan and I know how everyone felt about the first round. I can guarantee that portland would have won any team the first round even Lakers. What houston did was that they knew they would have bad matchup with blazers so they purposely lost the game against dallas, and killed portland. I just have no idea what da fuck is going to happen. OK, if we had won against the Mavs, we would have played the Hornets, whom we would have also beaten. So to us, it didn't matter. Honestly, Blazers were the tougher team of the two, so we didn't blow the game on purpose.

I don't think they'll win the series, and it's no insult to the Blazers. They just need some more experience, & better coaching. Adelman's a mastermind when it comes to playoffs. You as a Blazers fan should know this from the 90s

I agree, obviously, but they're not completely horrible. I think part of it's coaching, and part of it was that Joe P. guy's comment about "I want Yao. I want that on my shoulders" as if hes been in the league for forever, & is one of the greatest centers of all time. That dude was a dumbass. He couldn't guard a high school freshman, so how could he guard Yao?

Brandon Roy did a decent job on us. Their pick and roll was their best offense. Artest couldn't keep up with Roy when they set up picks.

Also, if you had watched any post game interviews w/ Joel P, you would've seen him being asked about the quote he said before that game about wanting Yao on his shoulders. & You would've seen him looking like an idiot a& basically apologizing, saying it has humbled him. This what I have to say, neither team is a great team. Houstan has its own weakness, and so does blazers. I think that the best time to talk about this is when the series is over. that way, one of them will go home and it will be over. Its kind of like a movie is 1/7 way and you rate it.

Joe Przybilla said that he wanted to guard Yao 1 on 1 in an interview after he found out they were playing the Rockets in the first round. But during a post game interview, he basically apologized and said that the experience humbled him.

But I agree. It's alright to talk about the series now, but 1 game isn't the decider. One side needs to win 4 games. We'll see what the outcome is soon.
