dude, ridiculous high-lights. NoPlaceLikeHomeField I particularly like the beginning =) Can you believe I recently got my vertical jump high enough to begin dunking! I just completed the a real training course at 50 inch vertical (dot) com and made it in just 2 months!
GOOOOOOOOOO BLAZERS!!! Dont count them out =D The blazers have to play better if they wanna take out the Rockets but it was good to see brandon have a great game in the playoffs. I hope Mutumbo is ok but it looks like he might be finished with a knee injury at that age. Gonna be a interesting series I just hope that Portland can win a game in Houston! GOOO BLAZERS =D
Just to be clear, I never counted the Blazers out. And I never said sweep while many analysts said sweep after Game 1. I respect that young Blazers team, although I think officiating tonight sucked on both ends. The first quarter was nothing but fouls.
And I'm not trying to disrespect the team, but Przybilla did nothing but flop on the floor, and Aldridge and Oden played dirty. But props to B-Roy. Definitely earned his shots.
Honestly, you can't unless you're a seasoned veteran (like Shaq) But even Shaq has trouble guarding him by himself. When Phoenix came to town at the game I went to on March 6 the only reason Yao was ineffective was because they swatted at Yao's hookshot, and dribbles from in front of him while he was looking back and backing Shaq down into the post
His only flaw is he's clumsy because he's so tall. But he's still a young player in the league. He's still got a lot to learn. But I agree with you.
I couldnt believe the beatdown that we took from the Rockets =(. I am a lifetime Portland Trailblazer fan and i said that the Houston Rockets were the one team besides the Lakers that I didnt want us to play in the playoffs in the first round. But dont count out the blazers yet they are young but when they get hot they are almost unstoppable. They have games like last night where they play like dog shit. Props to the Rockets but game 2 will be much different. GOOOOOO BLAZERS!
I hope it will be different. There's only one thing I love more than a blowout win by the Rockets... A close game down to the finish with a late game layup by Aaron Brooks (Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets March 6th)
I hope we have a couple close ones in this series, but I have a feeling this isn't the last blowout we see by Rockets against Blazers.
Thanks for the props though. I know that the Blazers are destined for greatness, just not this year. Still young, and need to develop!
let me tell you something bro. I am a huge TB fan and I know how everyone felt about the first round. I can guarantee that portland would have won any team the first round even Lakers. What houston did was that they knew they would have bad matchup with blazers so they purposely lost the game against dallas, and killed portland. I just have no idea what da fuck is going to happen. I am just curious to know if blazers will when the series.
OK, if we had won against the Mavs, we would have played the Hornets, whom we would have also beaten. So to us, it didn't matter. Honestly, Blazers were the tougher team of the two, so we didn't blow the game on purpose.
I don't think they'll win the series, and it's no insult to the Blazers. They just need some more experience, & better coaching. Adelman's a mastermind when it comes to playoffs. You as a Blazers fan should know this from the 90s
I agree, obviously, but they're not completely horrible. I think part of it's coaching, and part of it was that Joe P. guy's comment about "I want Yao. I want that on my shoulders" as if hes been in the league for forever, & is one of the greatest centers of all time. That dude was a dumbass. He couldn't guard a high school freshman, so how could he guard Yao?
Brandon Roy did a decent job on us. Their pick and roll was their best offense. Artest couldn't keep up with Roy when they set up picks.
see that is exactly my point. portland just has a bad matchup with houston rockets. Dont say shit like portland sucks. They are the youngest team in NBA who has made it to the playoffs. I have no idea what you are talking about when you commented on joel Przybilla because I dont think he said anything like that. Yao is just tall or else he wouldve gotten raped by Blazers.
And also, stop crying about them always having a bad matchup. That's basketball. There's always bad matchups. But great teams adjust. And I'm not HATING on Portland. The Blazers are actually one of the few teams I don't HATE. I really think in a couple of years, they're going to be a top contender like Boston and LA. Just gotta give it time. Don't take trash talk so seriously, dude. And don't disrespect me unless you've got stats or knowledge to prove it.
WTF is going on? I wrote that message to someone else and you ended up getting it. They need to fix this replying shit because It is pissing alot of people off.
BTW I sent that message to: tyakack, who said PORTLAND SUCKS. What would you say about that.
dont fucking hate piece of fuck. If they sucked so bad, they wouldnt have home court advantage right now. The only fucking reason why you are saying that is because they lost to houston. Everyone fucking knows that portland always had bad matchup with them and that makes it hard for portland to win.
OK. Przybilla DID say that. Right after he found out they were playing Houston in the first round, he said... and I quote from Rockets website:
"Then theres little nugget courtesy of Joel Pryzbilla, after he found out his club was set to face Houston in the first round: "This time, I want him,'' Przybilla said. "I want to guard him straight up. I want that on my shoulders.'' That sound you hear in the background is the entire Rockets fanbase furiously nodding, Yes, please!
Home Court Advantage doesn't mean shit when you're 4 & 5 seeds. WE now have Home Court Advantage with that one loss.
Also, if you had watched any post game interviews w/ Joel P, you would've seen him being asked about the quote he said before that game about wanting Yao on his shoulders. & You would've seen him looking like an idiot a& basically apologizing, saying it has humbled him. So maybe he'll be smart and keep his trap shut next time.
I saw the whole game and I did not see or hear Joel P say anything like that. I dont know why you are making this up. You just need to stop hating on joel "indirectly" because he is an awesome player. You just need to chill da fuck out because I am 100% sure you wont win the championship anytime soon.
So shut the hell up before I block you permanently. I have no reason to make any of that up. I didn't even know who the hell Joel was until he was quoted saying that. So YOU chill the fuck out. I've done my research, and you obviously haven't. Like I said, I don't hate the Blazers. But the more and more I argue with you, the more and more I feel like I should.
you need to calm da fuck down and listen. Look, We are both fans right? we both love our teams. If they win or lose, the get paid for it. I think that if we argue about it, we wont gain anything from it.
This what I have to say, neither team is a great team. Houstan has its own weakness, and so does blazers. I think that the best time to talk about this is when the series is over. that way, one of them will go home and it will be over. Its kind of like a movie is 1/7 way and you rate it.
I'm not the one flippin out. I honestly have no reason to make facts and statistics up. I am NOT ESPN.
Joe Przybilla said that he wanted to guard Yao 1 on 1 in an interview after he found out they were playing the Rockets in the first round. But during a post game interview, he basically apologized and said that the experience humbled him.
But I agree. It's alright to talk about the series now, but 1 game isn't the decider. One side needs to win 4 games. We'll see what the outcome is soon.
