  • Cenk must have a gazillion body guards, live in a bomb shelter and use food tasters before he eats. The people he speaks out against are SCARY powerful. Either body guards or maybe a room full of rabid, starved lawyers..

  • Taxation is theft...and is not required by a State to carry out its legitimate role...that of rights protection. Running the police, law courts and defence costs far far less than what it does to fund what its currently involved in. Of course a state needs revenue to be able to function...and that can be easily raised by voluntary fees and donations, fines for criminal behaviour...and even by lotteries. All have been used before.

  • LMAO LMAO

cenk just lost the plot here...

" the evil Kochs want less regulation so they can take that extra tax from all of you!"

    ROFL

The Kochs are libertarian businessmen who are stuanchly independant and who dont appreciate big gov and over regulation

THey HATE taxes with a passion. they dont want anymore of it LOL

  • @TheJayEffkay Independant? They speculate on oil, they jack up the prices, without adding anything to the value of that oil. I agree, that is not a tax, at least with a tax, the public gains something from the proceeds. Whereas with the extortionate speculation, the price is being jacked up with NO BENEFIT TO THE CONSUMER. At least with a fuel tax, the money is being used for things like road maintenence.

  • @Dethreid

Why? All you gotta do is make a law that states that you actually in the business of what your speculating! I.E. crereal companies speculating for grain from farmers, etc., you know, what speculation was originally CREATED for and how it actually BENEFITS society!

But Wall Street shouldn't be able to just BUY ALL THE NATION'S OIL just to sell it back to us at a 40% hike! That is MADNESS!

  • @macgeek2004 Nobody "buys all the oil" stupid. The amount of oil in storage is much smaller today than ever, and it is very small in relation to what is used. Speculators buy futures contracts, and are attempting to judge the future balance of supply and demand, the future price necessary for BALANCE, or "equilibrium". Speculators can NOT buy, unless some other motherfucker WANTS to sell. Without them, shortages would develop.

  • yaawwnn ... $50 billions is what the big government you're so enamoured with, spends on paper clips; but that's ok, it's for the common good...lol. good to know there are some conservative billionares to sponsor the right causes. Your Soros and his ilk finally have someone to oppose them...

  • @dreior Sorry what the Kochs are doing is actually treason.

They have more or less control over the law making process of at least half of Congress. When two people use money to write laws and stole control from the people, it is in fact treason.

Just because they are in line with your conservative ideology, you are still getting screwed. So that make you even more pathetic as if you think they are actually on your side. Unless you are in the top 10% like I am, good luck. :)

  • KAH-CH, like the end of catch... it is a German name.

You are not entitled to oil, you pay whatever the cost is to the person who owns the oil. Don't like the cost of oil? buy a hydrogen car, or if you can't afford that then buy a old honda that gets 30+ mpg.

Or ride your bike to work, or forbid walk to work, how about car pooling, no this would require effort and a bit of change in your life style.

Americans have nobody to blame but themselves for high oil prices.

  • @Dethreid There are other uses for oil you know, besides gasoline. Like my polyester clothes. Half my fucking car, most of this computer. And, there are other nations that actually have automobiles.

  • @luvcheney1 plastic can be made from corn too which is not as popular yet because oil is still considered very cheap.

Cars burning gasoline are the predominant use for crude and its the thing everyone bitches about being expensive.

Price controls never work, never will, and it is naive and political for Obama to "reign in the speculators" on oil.

  • The Koch Bros. havd done biz with the Communist and now they are doing biz with the Rightwing Nazis. where is Indiana Jones when you need him.

  • PAID FOR BY GEORGE SOROS.

  • @Salvysahagun lol, if only you had a clue what you were talking about.

  • @huckleberry12

$3 million to the Center for American Progress,

    $2.5 million to MoveOn.org,

$20 million to America Coming Together

$23 million to other Liberal/progressives Think tanks nation wide

Wake up all of you, Both conservatives & Progressives, left and right are funded by billionaires. But George Soros is much worse because the kind of greed the Koch brothers have is personal. Soros wants total control which is what the progressivism is

Lord Acton warned about absolute power.

  • @Salvysahagun Yo! go continue to watch Alex Jones!

  • @Dayonetheone

Not a big fan. a little to depression for me.

He doesn't really bring out the light potential in humans just our "evils"

  • Which brother is the one who creamed his pants in public? He left a party meeting with a pant-load. True story.

  • Cunt brothers

  • Well they had to screw us for money because they never learned how to make money because it was inherited. If they actually were like their father and made their own money then maybe, and this is a stretch, would actually not screw ppl for money. This is the result of spoiled brat syndrome.

  • Wow! I guess I need to get involved in oil speculation. It pays well. Where's the video about BIG Solar? ( Solyndra) Hmmmmm......

  • guess Cenk wont talk about George Soros or how he maniuplates money and stocks i guess. what a hypocrite...but that is what libturds are.

  • @usaeagle1776

George Soros is a huge financial supporter of the left,

so don't ever expect Cenk to say anything bad about him, or the left-winged businesses he gives his million to.

  • @bobbytiger :exaclty. plus other rich and wealthy dem supporters. libturds are hypocrites when it comes to this.but then, really to everything.

  • @luvcheney1 the oil market is massively controlled the 135 to 40 dollar price of oil crash resulted in a massive windfall for the market manipulators

  • @luvcheney1 not that's a false choice. Its not a question of rationing. The kochs manipulate the market . My solution isa 99% tax on any profit from oil trading

  • WHO thinks NOBODY should pay attention to the balance between how MUCH oil we need, and how much is produced? WHO thinks nobody should anticipate future needs? Cenk. There are a few ways to allocate oil. Through FORCE, bullets. Let Govt RATION. Or, let the market (speculators, producers, oil purchasers). CHOOSE.

  • How can I get in on this deal?

  • @Steve197201 Margin requirement for a light sweet crude contract is only $8438, less than the cost of your Hyundai. Go, ahead, lets see how smart you are.

  • Minor correction, Cenk: 800% since 2001, not 2004.

  • What do you do with 50 billion dollars. i mean even with 1 billion dollars, hell even 100 million dollars its impossible to spend.

  • @SpecialJay3 They wont spend it, they will invest it. It is capital, and it delivers goods and services to people and employs people. Capital is where jobs and products come from.

  • I want to switch places with those billion aires. i mean wow rich people are being treated like kings and their shitting all over the american people i would have never imagined until these past few months.

  • @Tethloach1 When you become a billionaire, you can do whatever you want. That's capitalism and FREEDOM! Go live in Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, France, Sweden, Canada, or some other commie socialist libturd shithole country and suck on big thick greasy veiny uncircumsized Marxist commie cock if you don't like it, KOMRADE!!

  • @DarrelfromZeeland You call this capitalism? No this is not capitalism you ignorant moron...giving 7.7 trillion dollars in bailouts is not capitalism. You couldn't define capitalism if it hit you across the head. Im a Canadian and we are just as capitalist as you ignorant pigs down south so I your argument has no basis

  • @iluvwater66 The Demokratik Socialist People's Republik of Canada capitalist? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! LOL!! And I'm Santa Claus! Since WHEN is socialized heath care and college capitalist?

  • @DarrelfromZeeland when i become a billionaire??? are you retarded, i bet your not even a millionaire, so who cares if your fucking getting taxed a lot i mean you would have to be retarded to take = income tax, sales, tax, pay roll tax, land tax, and corperate tax take it like a bitch these billion aires are the smartest of the american peiople because instead of paying taxes they are getting money back they are getting rich off your tax dollars now why exactly.

  • Treason trials go better with Coke.

  • Fuck the climate change denial machine!!! :)

  • speculation - how does it work? lol

you too can speculate on oil: open up a futures account, load up on e-mini crude oil futures, or with a stock account buy some oil etfs like USO or even DXO.

if oil goes up - you profit, if oil goes down - you lose, if oil does nothing - it costs you about 2-10% per year.

You too can 'tax the American people with oil speculation'.

  • @jordan567890 Or, you can buy Exxon stock and be "Big Oil" yourself and make lots of cash.

  • Its weird we havent really heard of them cause they're the Cock Brothers.

  • I dispair at the American people sometimes. Almost every one of you has a fucking Magnum in their back pockets, yet none of you will shoot these two pricks.

  • @celt67 Shooting people who help us get gasoline in our tanks, and toilet paper in our bathrooms makes good sense, to you? How do you feel about someone actually NOT giving you a thing, for the money they take?

  • In an effort to be "fair and balanced",

when can I expect your report on the left winged liberal George Soros?

  • Comment removed

  • @bobbytiger look those liberals and conservatives have a lot more in common then you anyday. that extra privilege comes with being super rich. why dont u ask Fox news about fair and balanced. they know all about it.

  • @dharmaatdawn

    Oh those dasterdly "rich" people.

    Don't you just hate them?

  • @bobbytiger FAIR AND BALANCED IS BULLSHIT. FOX LIES, CUNT.

  • @electronicoffee

    You have learned well, Grasshopper.

  • Just think how much better off America would be if the Koch brothers died and we used their wealth for infrastructure spending.

  • @Tentacle666 Building infrastructure takes energy. Thats one of their main industries. Toilet paper is good to have as well. And a napkin. Are you fucking pigs against napkins, toilet paper too? You walk to the supermarket to buy it?

  • so redistribution of wealth to the poor is communism, but redistribution to the insanely rich is capitalism? gee, that makes loads of sense...

  • @TishTalons When two parties decide voluntarily to buy/sell something, the transaction is of benefit to both, or it wouldnt happen. Govt redistribution is not of value to both, nor voluntary.

  • @luvcheney1 sure, but i was referring to the news story, which was about government subsidies for huge multinational corporations. I wasn't talking about private enterprise and transactions at all. I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy inherent in the way we use and think about using public funds.

  • @TishTalons Govt subsidies "to Corps" usually mean some reduction in taxes due, not giving money, but reducing the amount owed. Obama has stated he wants to eliminate $4 billion in subsidies to the oil companies. Huh? Exxon by ITSELF is a $400 billion a year corporation! These numbers are NOTHING, in relationship to the size of the market. Over 90% of "loopholes" libs complain about are result of US Corps leaving the country. Your comment is vague, useless. Get specific.

  • @luvcheney1 If Exxon makes $400 billion a year, why do they need or deserve a tax break? A company making record profits should be held to its obligations to the society or country that helped make it rich. Big companies should not get free passes. And as far as US companies leaving the country, that was a direct result of NAFTA and similar trade agreements that bordered on encouraging companies to leave. There was little incentive to stay and the promise of absurd profit if they left.

  • @TishTalons You missed the point, or do not wish to deal with it. So, you raise a new point. "why any subsidies?" Because Govt wants to modify behavior through the tax code. However, those "breaks" to Exxon are mostly the "oil depletion allowance", called a loophole for Exxon, yet every other corp in other industries can depreciate the falling values of plant equipment, vehicles, etc, even buildings. Value of oilfields fall, as the oil in the ground goes away. Duh.......... Loophole? Not.

  • @luvcheney1 Yeah, so your point is that the rich should be real rich and get to keep all their "hard earned" money while everyone else pays their fair share of taxes. Sorry. Can't get with you there. If you think people should feel sorry for the oil companies because their business has overhead, you're living in a dream world. I'm pretty sure that YOU missed the point of the whole story in the first place. The point is that we're all getting screwed, you included, unless you're a speculator.

  • @TishTalons Most everyone actually is a speculator. Most everyone also owns derivatives too. Lets assume you have $100 saved up. You could buy $100 worth of food, bottled water for an earthquake, or hard times. You could sock away a few bottles of supermarket vodka for the same reason. Or, you could leave it in cash under your mattress, or deposit in a bank. Choices? Derivatives? Car insurance? How sick is it to bet your own property get destroyed? You get fucked, a 3rd party pays off? Sick!

  • @luvcheney1 Your comparison is laughable. What does oil speculation have to do with bottled water or vodka? Again, you're missing the point and going off on random tangents about car and property insurance as though we are talking about the same thing. And yes it is sick to profit off the misfortune of others. I don't apologize for my opinion.

  • @TishTalons You said, "that we're all getting screwed, you included, unless you're a speculator." I arely, if EVER watch these pathetic You Tube videos. I DO read people`s comments. You attacked speculators. It was YOUR comment. So dont come crying to me when I go after your stupid subject. Everyone speculates. And YOU most likely bet YOU will have misfortune! Because you buy car insurance, most likely. The point? Just because it is sick, doesnt make it wrong. You need car insurance.

  • @TishTalons Companies left this country because of the unions, environazis, OSHA, EPA, all other fascist labor and environmental laws and business regulations, minimum wage, workmen's comp, and taxes to support the Marxist welfare state.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland That makes me laugh. Honestly, do you think those agencies would be there if if companies didn't commit abuses? OSHA protects people's work environment, the EPA regulates pollution, labor and environmental laws are put in place because the environment is being destroyed. I don't know why you even used the word "fascist" to describe these laws. Especially when you used it in the same sentence as Marxism. Makes absolutely no sense. Study history instead of talking points.

  • @TishTalons Newsflash dumbass. OSHA, EPA, labor and environmental laws, and unions are why our jobs are flying overseas. They're the reason the Chinese are kicking our asses down our throats. We can't afford them.

Another newsflash retard. Marxism and fascism are both SOCIALIST, therefore LIBERAL and anti-American, anti-capitalist, and anti-Christian.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland capitalism is pro-Christian?? :O

  • @alvisc2002 God is a capitalist. Wealth and poverty are signs of his favor or disfavor. If you read the Bible instead of blaspheming it, you'd know that.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland So you are in favor of not regulating buisness and commerce at all? Companies should be able to mistreat workers, hire children to work dangerous jobs, pollute our air, rivers, ground water, etc, not offer a livable wage, and make up their own rules? Newsflash, dumbass, you're a tool. Study history, not talking points. The chinese are not kicking our teeth down our throats. They are a larger country with a larger population.

  • @TishTalons And another newsflash, retard, it isn't anti-american to have a dissenting viewpoint. You seem to think that everything that is good for big business is good for america. Its not. And how is socialism anti-christian? Thats just flat out ridiculous. Jesus was a socialist. He preached helping others and giving all wealth to the less fortunate, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, healing the sick. If caring about others is unamerican, I don't think we grew up in the same america.

  • @TishTalons A socialist viewpoint is by definition anti-American and anti-Christian. Jesus didn't call for the government to do those things by stealing from productive citizens.

Big business is the backbone of America, Anything that benefits them makes this country stronger and healthier.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland

    Jesus doesn't run our country.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Big business is not the backbone of America. Consumerism and the working class are. And who is talking about stealing? Everyone pays their fair share of taxes, accept the very rich.If anything, they are cheating their own country. Taxes have never been lower in the history of this country, and there have never been more loopholes to avoid paying them. So, if anything that benefits big business is good for America, why don't we go back to having child labor? Got any kids?

  • @TishTalons Why should business owners pay any taxes? They take all the risks to start companies that create jobs. And I'd rather have kids working than sitting in a schoolyard where they aren't learning anything except welfare dependency, Marxism, gangbanging, rape, ebonics, hip hop, how to dress like morons, and how to do drugs.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland you are one ignorant man...how can you make assumptions like that? Rape, gang bang? On what basis do you make these assumptions?Yeah lets not put kids into school no no thats a bad idea lets put them to work so I can pay them minimal wage and so I can make more right?

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Why should business owners pay taxes?! I guess, by your logic, no one should pay taxes, right? Who cares if we don't have roads for them to move their goods on, air traffic control to make it safe to fly, fire departments, police departments, literate people. Screw it all. Lets go back to the Dark Ages and serfdom. And, what schools did you go to? I don't think any of that was part of the curriculum where I went. Pretty sure you're willfully ignorant.

  • @TishTalons Public roads and police are constitutional. Public schools are not. The dark ages? That's what the mudscum are trying to do with the Kenyan Nazi's help.

FYI, I went to private schools that actually TEACH.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland I guess those private schools taught you how to act against your own best interest. I can't say that the public school system was an excellent experience for me, but luckily i know how to read and think for myself, so I have read many and greatly varied books and articles and have formulated my own opinions. Lucky you. Your parents obviously had the money to send you to private school. No wonder you don't understand being poor.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Some people don't have the money to go to private school. Should they just not get an education?

And i guess from your name that you are from New Zealand? If so, you don't really have a say on what goes on here.

  • @Morophin3 Zeeland, MICHIGAN, retard!

If they can't afford a private school, then off to work in their fields or mines.

  • @TishTalons NMewsflash dumbass. Nobody's forcing them to work there or live there. A smart business owner isn't going to deliberately mistreat a good worker. Only the lazy slugs need to worry. And the water? So buy some bottled water? Or boil it? Or get a water filtration system.

  • @DarrelfromZeeland You live in a fantasy world, obviously. Smart business owners mistreat their workers every day. And how do you define "force"? Its not like the average worker has the finances to just pick up and move every time they feel like it. Your point of view is twisted toward people that don't give a damn about you. If you think big businesses care about you, you're thoroughly indoctrinated.

  • @luvcheney1 TishTalons obviously went to a Marxist brainwashing camp called a "public school".

Have you ever seen anything coming from a lib that was useful for anything? Except maybe target practice!

  • @DarrelfromZeeland Real nice. "They don't agree with me! Waaaah! Lets shoot 'em!"

  • @TishTalons

I've never done this before, but i listed this as a fav quote on facebook. Be good to have a name to attach to it...

  • @tvrulz46 I am Tish Talons on facebook as well. and thank you for the compliment.

  • Damn, I'd rather bike everywhere than give the Kochs my share.

  • So that's why my ASS been bleeding all these years!...FU-K YOU KOCH BROTHERS!

  • Lulz at chest hair

  • Human greed.. when will it end...

  • @jamesjiao When humans go extinct is when we'll stop being greedy.

  • @neofriends Greed isn't the problem. Excessive greed is the problem. Excessive everything is the problem. Excessive safety, excessive freedom, excessive selfishness, excessive selflessness, excessive aggression and excessive pacifism. Excess and ignorance are the only true sins; moderation and knowledge the only virtues.

  • And thus begins a new dark age for America and perhaps the end of this historic aberration known as democracy. When too much money (power) accumulates in the hands of a very few the interests of those very few becomes the defacto interest of the government. A government bought and sold by the rich and guess what? Your interests are ignored, you become nothing more than a consumer and with global markets your function as a consumer or producer is diminished even more. Goodnight and good luck.

  • Here's a set up for a potentially funny joke;

What does Cheney, Vader, Rupert Murdoch, Mr Burns, and the Koch Bros. have in common?

  • So the Koch brothers are paladins for Capitalism and are invested in proving the unregulated free market is superior to any other system, yet they're simultaneously proving what a failure a non-regulated market is in their business dealings.

    Nice.

  • Speculators diminish free market.

  • @LancePoint9 Speculators are the free market, and enable supply to equal demand, by attempting to forcast future needs.

  • @luvcheney1 So making a product more expensive now helps balance supply and demand? Considering that speculators buy up the commodity and reduce the supply available for those that use the oil, how does this help?

  • @LancePoint9 Speculators buy futures contracts. They DONT hoard oil! There is little storage capacity, in relation to demand. They buy a right to oil in the future, which they hope will be able to be sold at that time, for a profit. To buy, someone else must sell, 2 sides to a trade. If those seeing prices rising outnumber those disagreeing, prices rise. Higher prices discourage use, by us, and encourage production, as higher cost oil fields now can become profitable. Less used, more supply.

  • @luvcheney1 So the prices rises artificially without a lessening of supply. How does that improve things since many business depend on the use of oil to transport their goods and workers. Wouldn't having a lower cost of oil increase the money business have increase their buying strength and aide the economy?

  • @LancePoint9 Demand for oil varies. Quantity NEEDED varies. If economy is growing in a business expansion, more and more oil we will needed, because countries are getting richer, and people are spending more and using more oil. 3rd world nations may be in process of industrialization too. The Market MUST act, or oil will disappear, in shortages, a disaster. Speculators SEE this, causing balance to return, through higher prices. AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE. If not, shortages and economic disaster.

  • @luvcheney1 Sounds less like a market that is allowed to freely find equilibrium but one that is controlled for a purpose. Oil shortages would raise the price of oil again to suit demand and the instability would encourage more people to seek alternative energy sources out of necessary. Besides, I keep hearing about how there's still oil for at least another century across the world. Why delay it. Let supply and demand balance the market.

  • @LancePoint9 Controlled? Oil peaked $145 on 7/08, was $37 on 2/09. IF speculators , OPEC, Big Oil can control the price, WHY dont they? They cant/ dont!! 1/1981 oil $38, 2/1999 oil $9.30 which was 18 yrs LATER! All they do is try to anticipate. If nobody tries to anticipate reality, the quantity of oil brought to market will be wrong. Surplus, or shortage. Remember that if I BUY oil, someone else is SELLING. Winners, AND losers! If prices go too high, "green" energy WILL develop on their OWN.

  • Most obvious title ever.

  • If we can execute Troy Davis why let these crooks live?

  • Why do I get the creepy feeling that the Koch brothers are Herman Cain's anonymous "economists"?

  • @nikkithebean Because Lucifer was on vacation when Hermans plan was written?

  • occupy wall street, where are cenk

  • If ur gonna screw me, u better pay me my money man!! This is some high-class grade A ass. This shit ain't for free! So BITCH where my money!!? :)

  • $50 billion can be used to employ one million people for $50,000.

  • @LadySeraph yeah but they're not going to do that cause it would cost them too much money.

  • @LadySeraph of course that would be for only one year...

  • @skwaag5233 obviously.

  • oh now I finally get it all!

very rich liberals are OK, rich republicans get their wealth by screwing the people and are therefore bad and evil!

hey Cenk why don't you do a clip on how georgie Soros got his billions, or how Warren Buffett got his billions seeing as how he never invented, developed, innovated anything ever

How about how the main billionaire behind Solyndra, big donater to Obowma, got his billions and how he is screwing taxpayers now?

Cenk is a vicious smear merchant

  • @genie0390

or how he's a jew and so jewed us up right?

  • @genie0390

any facts Cenk brings up you're going to dispute?

  • @unassumption. Of course genie0390 is going to dispute any facts Cenk brings up. That's what TYT haters like genie do when Cenk brings up facts. They also use insults, fear mongering, racism, lies and watch TYT videos but hear what they want to hear..

  • @cne08

dispute it with evidence* something the TYT haters never do

  • @unassumption

in this last video, tell me exactly what are the facts

Cenk doesn't have a clue as to how oil business functions or how oil mercantile exchange works

markets are where people who speculate correctly make money from those losers who speculated wrong. it's the oil companies who made windfall profits, Cenk and his pals at Current TV and MSNBC profited in terms of their pension plans

  • @genie0390 Evolutionary biology say that all human share 99.9% of dna, therefore I don't see how ratio of the average income of the richest 10% is to the poorest 10% could be 15.9. I don't see how a CEO could win 1039 time more than his employee... A hockey game can't finish 16 to 1 if the 2 team are 99.9% of the same payers, and the winning team saying "we will do better next time". That said, 7 to 2 might happen ;)

  • @therrydicule

what ever it is you're smoking sure must be strange

  • @genie0390 I'm just saying they can't be that much better than us... The argument made is "they work harder and smarter than the average guy" and, sometime "the poor just don't have the genetic make up to make it". If it is, it's can't be by a huge factor. I said 1039, in reality, the pay of the average CEO is about 180 is average employee. It just come to show a poor use of resources, a poor cost/utility ratio for a CEO, and the rise of a class division.

  • @genie0390 You certainly have a point. Soros screwed the British currency to make like 3 billion dollars. But come on, to make an extra 44 billion in 6 years seems a little excessive and it's all true that we are paying higher because of oil speculators. Goldman Sachs is big in this too so when they supposedly paid back American citizens it was from the extra money we were paying at the pump.

  • @goamerica76

the money people make by speculating comes from losers who speculated wrong, very little if any effect on gasoline prices. Goldman sachs is not an oil company doesn't operate any gasoline pumps doesn't set prices

Cenk does not have a clue as to how the oil business functions

  • @genie0390 I'm sorry to politely disagree but when oil speculators buy a bunch of oil the price per barrel goes up and hence the price at the pump. You are certainly right that the people that try to jump on the bandwagon when it looks like it's just going to keep going up also get screwed. So, these speculators screw a few different people to get their money. Goldman Sachs is one of the largest investment firms in the world. You would be a little naive to think that they don't profit off of oil

  • @genie0390 Our tax code system has been screwing the bottom 90% of taxpayer for decades. I even seem to recall Republicans holding unemployment benefits hostage to ensure the extension of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.... and why don't you ever question how Republicans are always in the wealthy's corner? I'm talking about ALWAYS in their corner. At least democrats have some semblance of caring. And like goamerica76 said, it's laughable to compare 3 billion to the 44 billion of the Koch bros.

  • @donnyforte2

"..it's laughable to compare 3 billion to the 44 billion of the Koch bros."

George Soros made his 3 billion from other speculators but his actions in just about bringing on the collapse of the British currency cost the british people hundreds of billions

you really don't know enough about this subject so it's quite frustrating for me to keep correcting ignorant comments

  • @genie0390 It's really quite "frustrating" to deal with people who like to jump in a conversation and whine about Cenk not talking about "the liberals" when this is clearly a topic about the Koch brothers in particular and whitewash everything. If you don't find their 40+ billion jump in a matter of 6 years a concern, then there's really not much to talk about now is there. And I love how you jumped over everything else I said.

  • @donnyforte2

we would have a lot to talk about had you not bought into cenk's smearing conservatives which he does at every turn

in referring to other liberals doing the same as Koch bros I'm trying to point out vicious smearing, not true info

you mention tax code screwing 90% bottom taxpayers? fact is 48% of all taxpayers don't pay any federal inc taxes at all, so 100% screwing of zero=zero

fact is most rich in America are liberal and support Dems and buy a lot of influence

  • @genie0390 Even if that were the case with Cenk, you doing the exact opposite isn't a positive.

"fact is 48% of all taxpayers don't pay any federal inc taxes at all,"

Fact is, there are other federal taxes. Fact is, the bottom the 50% of Americans (that's 150,000,000+ people) only control less than 3% of all wealth in this country and you're wondering why some billionaire would be required to pay more in taxes.

  • @genie0390 Then let me correct your ignorant comments since you take so much pride in that, I am sure you will be happy to be corrected.

Britain was setting itself up for a disaster. Soros was only one of many speculators, just he became a more famous one, who saw the value was too high and shortsold on it. I dont like speculators either, but to solely blame him, or say he cost it all, ignores that ...

  • @waltermh111

I guess in your "research" you missed that part dealing with Geo Soros as a convicted criminal

  • @genie0390 he wasnt alone and it likely would have continued to happen, but also ignores the reality that the rate was simply too high and unsustainable.

There was so much going on and in fact, britain came back stronger due to the devalueing because its previous setup before the crash was so unstable for the country.

Theres further research you can do to find how complex the issue is, but you can thank me for shedding at least a little light on reality.

  • @genie0390 I really find it hard to believe that anyone is as stupid as you sound in that comment. It is hilarious how you think cenk supports obama, and it also illustrates to everyone else that you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Maybe you haven't seen the countless TYT videos about how the middle class is getting fucked over by the wealthy, or maybe your just an idiot and came into this video with your mind already made up and decided youd throw some nonsense words together.

  • @genie0390

You obviously don't like this show. Why do you keep watching? Really get a freaking life, you stupid loser.

  • No wonder America is getting screwed. it is the Koch brothers dick shoved up our asses.

  • There should be a law were its illegal to have more than 2 million dollars per person.

  • Least surprising video title ever, or what?

  • I think that deseves a big fat DUH!!

  • I am sorry to say this, but there are people from who's death we would all benefit hugely. The Koch brothers unfortunately belong to this group of people. They are parasites. They are a disease! They are like cancer! You get it...

  • I bet they will start funding RFID research, if they already do that secretly. Why you ask? Because they are part of the antichrist. Call me crazy now, but just wait till you have to have a chip in your hand just to buy bread.

  • Oil production peaked in 2006 according to IEA, for gods sake wake up already, you are about to get raped by things worse than greedy billionaires.

German military predicted supply crunch around 2012.

Cenk why is your only source an exxon ceo?

  • i've started boycotting coke products.

its a bit hard when i go out but its worth it

  • Reich wingers don't care that coporate profits have risen 22% since 2007 and corporations are sitting on $2 trillion in offshore bank accounts urging congress to declare another "corporate tax holiday" to repatriate the money. They'll continue to defend these people and vote Republican because they promise to get rid of all the queers.

  • @PompousPreacher Google "PE RATIO S&P 500", and see it is 19.99 today. That means $19.99 invested for 1 yr gives $1 in dividends. $1 / $19.99= 5% return on investment. This is still under historic average, and it has been closer to 10% for yrs on end occasionally. WOW! 5%?? Hey, it`s stupid to bring the profit back at the highest corp tax rate of 34 nation OECD. Why pay more? Dont YOU shop around?

  • Why someone that wealthy would care about what happens in the world or with politics? I don't get it...

  • Just think of the eutopia America could be if only a few Billionaires would care about America more than having a few more Billions.

  • @derberg19486 Not just America...the entire world can become a better place if that happens.

  • @derberg19486 hey, you.

Imply anything about the rich. CLASS WAREFARE! Don't do it, it's racist. We create jobs. We're not the ones buying politians to better ourselves....creating even more inequality within the country. We're just sitting in our billion dollar yatch enjoying our succes....now you don't want to tax success do you?
