Wow, I take that B12 shot too after getting diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome, and I'll assure you, that it actually helps! Less depression, got my memory and focus back, feel happy, amazing, this guy is telling the truth, I swear! I never knew it was that efficient!
@JohnnyX1239 And btw I get the shot in my butt, yea kinda embarassing, but I just want to say that I got more energy both mentally and physical, this guy is not lying, I know I got a lot better from only taking it for 2+ months, I'm still getting it, and its really weird.
Just received revitapops frm Kim gonna try thm on my son too praying it works. Cant afford thm shipping to holland is too expensive but if t works we ll find a miracle way for tht too
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I so needed this information!!! It's really great to be able to see actual footage of how much better attention is with MB12. This is what I struggle with in my daughter.
What a wonderful video! I just started taking B12 shots myself, and can only hope it helps me as an adult like it did Jake.
I also want to point out that you can purchase B12 online without a prescription. I mention this because many people do not have health insurance, so it is nice to be able to purchase these items online for very low prices without prescription fees. I pay $4.00 for eight 1000mg B12 ampoules. If anyone needs this info, please hit reply here and I will message you the info.
love your video! THANKS for sharing... I also used the clip of Jake getting his b12 for my daughter to view quick so she knew what we were about to do..which came in handy!! does or did your b12 have folinic added to it I was wondering?
Hi Phil, did you use the MB12 shots then have jake on gfcf diet at the same time?? I'm planning to put my 2 year old boy on gfcf diet but removing his milk is hard since he is only 2.. is there a milk substitute you would recommend
I just wanted to say thank you for this video. We just got our supply of methyl b12 and I was anxious about giving the shots...but after viewing it's worth trying and I'm not feeling quite as anxious anymore.
We're about to start the shots. Yet...before starting the shot...we had to get Bray Bray body more balanced with supplements and improvement on the GFCF diet. That took about 4 months. The improvements we've seen with the supplements is amazing....we pray the shots continue the "awakening." He hears & understands all...just like the video just shown...he can't always concentrate fully...but tries so hard. Great video....Thank you so much for sharing!
My son became extremely hyper on B 12 injections, he was super happy loud and quick! He is non verbal and in constant motion all the time. He didn't mind the injections at 4 years old- Now, just today, we started B 12 nasal spray from his Dr. Within 10 minutes he became calm and interrested in conversation, was not jumping around. We did see the same happiness, but with way less hyperactivity than ever before, WOW! The pathways are open and I am so glad we tried this again!
Hi Phil I have a son on the autism specturm classified as PDD-NOS and he also has ADHD. I gave him the MB12 shot tonight for the first time was very nervous, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly when he went to use the bathroom I also went with him to see if his urine would be normal, but it had a tinge of pink wasn't dark red but it wasn't it's normal color.
My youngest son (6) has PDD-NOS and behaviour issues also a low iq. Is it wise to start with this methyl B12 treatment? I will also ask my general practitioner, but after hearing all these great results with Autism i am just so curious?
low iq is not sure due to his behaviour probs. difficult to test.
Thanks for the video. Saw results the next day. Small verbal improvements. Dosage depends on childs weight for those who are wondering. Ask your doctor.
Hi, I think your videos are very helpful, Thank you so much for sharing them. I just wanted to ask how many times a week did Jake take the b12 shots, and how much was the quantity in each?
i am looking for get my son the B12 shots, i am not sure how to go about it. I was going to ask my pediatrician first and if she blew me off i was going to call a DAN doctor.. not sure how to get them though.
@kitsadar Jake took the shots for six months and then we saw no more progress (which is what a lot of parents say). He did not lose the skills he gained.
Great job sharing this information and the before/after videos! I too saw AMAZING eye contact with my child on B12. I didn't do the shots, I chose to use the methyl B12 oral drops. They are Rx as well, and very effective. So for those that are too scared for the shots-the oral drops are wonderful too. My son looked into my eyes with a long gaze for the first time within HOURS of his first dose! Keep up the great work, Dad!
why are we so reliant on drugs, time encouragement, real contact real quality caring education, thats what i give my boys. they are progressing... i think it is drugs that created their problem and i am not about to give them another.
You do know that MB12 is a vitamin right? Not a drug?
I am not sure if you were implying that Vitamin B12 is a drug or if you were just commenting in general on drugs being used on autistic kids. For the most part I agree that drugs should be the last resort...but for some parents they really do need to go to that last resort. We didn't (thank God)
@pipfollett01 you seem a bit close minded, and afully critical, are you infering that people using alternative treatments are less caring of their children than you? It is a vitamin supplement, something these children are lacking through normal absortion. If there is a chance that this can help my child, I owe it to them to at least look into the research.
@pherronii yep i agree, anything that is going to help, for me the last place i am going to look is a pill, regardless of how natural it may seem. I can only speak from my own point of view and the progress this guy was talking about to me was not earth moving and could be achieved with time, just my point of view on waht i saw.
@pipfollett01 thanks for the reply. I respect your point of view. I have an aversion to drugs myself. under pressure from my wife, and my daughters school I agreed to try metadate (similar to ridlin), I regret that decision. about a month ago I threw the pills out.
At the same time I did begin giving her the B12, and magnesium suplements, and it has made a big difference in her behaviour. It hasn't been a miracle cure by any means, she is more focused, she smiles now, and far less agressive
@pipfollett01 : No, he doesn't know. He is an idiot. He thinks anything in a tablet is a drug. He does not understand that food has complex molecular structure.
@majesticlizard there is no need to be insulting. i do know that b12 is a vitamin, however i was marelying saying that in general people look for external solutions to a problem when the peoblem can be solved with out addition supplimentation. i have a degree in nutrition so i think i probably have a basic understanding of what foods can and cant do.
I just have to respond to this person talking about drugs and just giving her children caring education.
B12 is a vitamin. I'm 37 years old and have been suffering from B12 deficiency for years. It's debilitating. You feel like you are suffering early onset Alzheimers because you can't hold a thought and your memory is lost! I never realized that my son could also be suffering the same deficiency. Thank You Philcommander for sharing Jake's Story... THanks
Thanks for this encouraging video....my son is 4 and autistic. It makes perfect sense that B-12 would have some type of effect on a child with autism. B-12 is prescribed to patients with diabetic neuropathy. What it does....is kinda makes the red blood cells slicker in the blood stream so that they may pass easier throughtout the body.......so IF our children have a problem within the brain the B-12 would DEFINITELY help get those oxygen rich blood cells through the brain! Grats & TY!
hi, thank you so much for the very encouraging video. i just found out that my little baby who is almost three year old has autism. Me and my husband are looking for any kind of help. Your video was helpful and gave us little bit of hope. can you tell me where can i find a doctor who can give me these shots. lots of love and prayers thanks
Chelating the mercury seems to be the most logical rather than just treating the symptoms. Mercury seems to be a probable cause of autism, then again with all the other junk they may put in vaccines, it could be more.
Unfortunately the mercury fillings in teeth seem to be a problem as well. I agree there is something possibly shady about them. I have one filling, but its non mercury. Silicon and glass I think.
My kid is 22 months old. We are intervening with diet and supplements for his symptoms of autism and other sensory integration disorders. He is not walking independently or talking. A blood test revealed he is seriously deficient in vitamin B3 and 12. I have MB12 in a nasal spray and just started using it this week. Results will take a bit longer than shots. This video is encouraging.
I've been meaning to thank you for quite some time, at the end of last year I watched your clip and I went to see our Naturopath and asked for the MB12 shots, she gave me the syrup you put under the tongue instead of the shots since kids and shots don't go very well together, anyway the syrup did the trick, my son has had great results with MB12 and I get anyone I can to watch your clip and decide for themselves if it might help them. Thank you so much for taking out the time to make this clip.
Very nice video. For how long do you plan to give your son the shots. Must they last a lifetime? I have not been able to find an answer to this question yet. Thanks again for the helpful video.
my mom take b12 for something else. it looks like he could have add or adhd. i have add and i was like that but i am better now i am 23 and off my medican and doing much better now.
Good for you for trying an alternative approach. Autism is very misunderstood and with all the controversy in the medical field parents have to turn to alternative treatment. B12 is very safe and I agree, worth a try. I comment you on your thoughts with others.
I want to commend you for posting your findings. I really do not feel others should judge you. You are merely trying to help your son and give him a better quality of life. Autism is still an incredibly misunderstood disorder. I respect you for your ambition in not giving up and for sharing your findings with others who may be struggling with their own children with autism. Cheers to you!
Thank you for sharing. We started b 12's this evening and we are praying for similar success as you have experienced in Jake. Wishing you continued success on all interventions!
please don't respond negative comment, we have enough of that our daily lives. Can you tell us: do you still giving Jake enzyme while getting b12 shot.
I am trying to get another DAN doctor but I am gathering all the success story about autism recoveries.
BS. The first video he was miles away and had the freedom to fidget around. Second video he was boxed in by his dad. Ball videos? ha.. first ball was a beach ball, second was a very solid b-ball on hard ground. Not comparable items. I think the father is seeing what he would want to see. Now if someone came up with a "scientific" controlled test, then we can talk.
Ok, maybe. So what's the clad proof one way or another? How you and I feel? Or, perhaps... a SCIENTIFIC study? Please do tell. If you say no study is needed, I'll be sure to drop by and sell you a host of items I have in mind.
The video is meant to show my experience and my results with b12 shots. I have no reason to lie or distort. I am not saying that this is scientific and therefore it is proof that mb12 shots work. I am showing my story and if people choose to believe me great...if not, then that is their choice.
My videos tell my story...plain and simple. I know what i saw and dont need to prove to others what i experienced nor do i need a study to prove it to me.
This is great, thank you for sharing your story. You have a beautiful son, and you are doing such a wonderful job as a very involved father. My son has been on b12 for about 3 months, I think it helps...but at least your video gives us some hope!
I can't BELIEVE some of these posts. My god, this poor man is doing his best to help his son! He took the time to post this video so it may hopefully help other people. Instead of being lovely, kind and appreciative, some of you are total jerks. I can't believe this. Remember, what goes around REALLY goes around.
My 4 year old recently identified as having Aspergers, started taking B12 orally and very similar results! We were thrilled! Give it a try- it could work!
dont know if my 2nd comment went thru but, any who ,my apologies 4 any inconvenience, i maybe wrong, maybe this b-12 injection could treat or cure autism, time can only tell
i dont think i would say it cures autism. i think that it helps some children focus better and this helps their speech as well as other things where concentration is needed. jake still had and continues to have many asperger traits that no vitamin or diet will ever erase...thank god!
well my apologies sir, i honestly didnt see your whole vid,so i had d idea the b-12 was a cure 4 autism, but thank you for clearing that up, and i admire parents such as yourself for not giving up on your kids.If given d right tools, u might be able 2 release great "potential" in ur litle one..
well im not sure wether this b-12 injection works or not,and yeah, i noticed thers a diff. in d kid between the two vids the d daddy filmed frm 2:50 to 4:47, but it just doesnt fully convince me,im pretty sure the child also went thru special dieting, vitamins,(prolly bought him ice cream 5 min be4 d footage,j.k)or maybe d kid was going thru his better days? autistic kids can even be taught 2 stare(specially high functioning) cont.
Well I have gotten injections in the mussles for over 4 years now, but it hasn't cured me. This is nonsence. It will make Autistic people feel better if they have a b12 issue, but real Autistic people will definately not be cured ! I also have Tourettes and right after the injection my tics even get much worse !
You can also give B-12 shots while the child sleeps. The needle is pretty small. We are going to start B-12 in about a month and I plan to give the injection at night while she is in bed.
Oh My gosh... I just bought a months supply here in Canada it cost me just under $6.00. I just can't believe the mark up, however you can't put a price on your childs well being. Good for you for taking action and advocating for your childs health, most people would just sit back and accept the fact and not fight the fight.
my nephew is diognised with mild autism. and i need help.i dunno what to do.doctors dont believe in the diets. for b12 shots...i am scared of advising my sister one.which one is safe?i am turkish .live in turkey.and i need to hear some different ideas .please help.
You can indeed buy methylcobalamin over the internet, and it is not garbage if it is from a decent supplier. (I have one.) It is every bit as good as the stuff you would get by prescription. Indeed, I showed a pharmacist my box and ampoules, and theirs came from the same company I do business with. (They're legit, all the way.)
Other than that, this is a good video, and it is good to see that your son has seen improvement from b12.
I would NEVER recommend that a parent buy anything over the internet and take the contents and inject it into their child...theyre asking for trouble. I am sure that there are some legitimate suppliers on the internet but i wouldnt use my child to find out which ones are legit and which ones arent.
It's not that you wouldn't recommend it. It is that you condemned any and all injected methyl bought over the internet as garbage. As I said, you are wrong.
By the way, I used myself and my pharmacist to find out. Not a kid. There are other ways, you know. And not everyone even has an extra 500 bucks for doctors visits, when they will be spending 70-100 dollars a month on the shots alone. Not only that, but here in small town Texas, finding a cooperative Doctor can be a big challenge.
What I meant by "I wouldnt use my child" was that you would be testing the Mb12 on them to see if it was good or not.
(not you yourself...but others would)
What you have to keep in mind is that so many people dont have common sense and if I am going to do a video seen by people whom i dont know or cant talk to in person, then i want to come out strongly against trying internet b12.
If someone wants to try that route then thats their business...but i would not recommend it.
If there are some good b12 shots available over the internet then let others recommend it and search it out. Hopefully they will use common sense and good judgement as you yourself seem to have. but when i do videos i assume that people who lack common sense will see them + misconstrue what i have said.
The only way I would ask parents to look into MB12 shots is if they went through a doctor.
Then the legal and moral responsability is on that doctor and not me.
Coming out strongly against experimenting on your kid with methylcobalamin purchased over the internet, and condemning all of it as garbage are two very different things.
And I'm sure that the cast majority of folks who would take a chance on some of this stuff bought over the internet would first test it on themselves.
When I say that finding a cooperative doctor here can be a big challenge, I mean there are none in a 100 mile radius. But one discovers this the hardest way. (contd).
Understand, if it wasn't for people who lack common sense and experiment on their own children, you wouldn't be using b12 on your own. Those irresponsible people are the ones who started this, and brought other people's attention to it's success.
And believe me, there is no way I would post my source on youtube. There are too many people who would try to get them in trouble somehow, even though they are legally doing business.
BookKittyRadley, you said this..."And I'm sure that the cast majority of folks who would take a chance on some of this stuff bought over the internet would first test it on themselves."
This is where you and I disagree and this disagreement is why we also disagree on my approach concerning internet MB12.
The comment I made on your page I still stand on,you are a lesbian with no children! Why do you down a parent trying to help other's. BooKittyRadley you need to just shut up and go away. It's people like you that need to understand that your "reality check has bounced!"
Not only is this a great video on MB12, it contains a WONDERFUL illustration of auditory digit spans.... these were 'essential' for my son in his recovery of apraxia/dyspraxia to develop social and coherent language. EVERY PARENT with a child with compromised ears needs to do these with their child.
GREAT VIDEO....
We all thank you so much!
Mark's Mommy, 13 95% recovered from global dyspraxia/apraxia of speech
I would definitely keep up good vitamin intake so whilst he is growing he can absorb more and make things easier. He seems to be high functioning and will probably do very well in society with a dedicated person in his life like you. :)
We did the digit spans (the reciting of numbers) with jake all over the house...in at least 20 different locations. I think in the video (i could be wrong i havent watched it in a while) that i mention that he walked up to me and looked right in my face after the
b12 shots. before when i said lets do digit spans he stood where he was and always broke concentration. after the shots he walked right up to me and looked me in the eye the entire time...continued
with the ball bouncing...i mention in the video that jake never got better than the footage you see and i discontinued trying to teach him to bounce the ball because it was clear that he couldnt and wasnt getting any better and i didnt want to cause stress and a sense of failure in him.
After the b12 shots he picked up the ball On His Own and was able to focus on it as he bounced it and the first time that he picked it up in MONTHS he dribbled it...cont.
the first time he picked up the ball in months he dribbled it as long as he wanted to. simply because he could look at the ball without losing focus.
To say that im "so desperate to find something that works implying deficiency and not disability that im losing focus of reality" is one heck of an assumption on your part. What examples can you offer from what you have seen of my videos to back that comment up? Im not offended but i think you need to defend that comment.
I have given examples of how the environment is different as well as the spacing between you and the child, those things make a difference as to how he will react. and the month you practiced might of been the month he got it wether he took b12 or not. As well as MANY other factors like other vitamin intake, diet, stress that day, weather, his rest factor? All of these things are what makes a good experiment and real results valid.
Logicaljackie0 are you autistic? And are you a scientist? This man "would never" put his son at risk! This man "loves his son deeply" and is doing alot for "parents" of autistic children! What are you doing except being a grain of sand in the machinery! If you don't like what he does then go somewhere else. I am autistic and this man is a god send! Who on the other hand sent you?
So my point is that you are going through a phenomenon where you are so desperate to find something that works implying a deficiency and not a disability you are loosing focus of reality. Parents of children with disabilities go thru this and try to find a miracle thing. Vitamins are great!no doubt and can help with day to day behavior but cannot change natural cognition or aptitude. Im sorry.
You are very wrong. But as long as you don't support any effort to keep parents from exploring these alternative treatments with their kids, who cares.
I imagine the shot helps but your controlled factors in your area of experiment are PARAMOUNT when analyzing a subject. And the before and after of the child bouncing the ball, well if my daughter tried bouncing a ball now she would not do well but after a month of practicing and better vitamins she would do fine, she is not impaired.
I am no bubble buster but ur "experiments" of the before & after of your sons focus factor r not entirely valid. In the before experiment of word repetition he was filmed in an open area & u were many ft from him,the after video was done in an enclosed area, infront of a piece of furniture & 2 ft from his face, closing the area around him WILL increase his focus. Factors like this are paramount when conducting an experiment for validity in conjunction with factors like what he ate that day etc
that's great, but you don't have to go to a doctor to get methylcobalamin, or even to the internet. 5000 mcg sublingual tablets will cost you about $1/day at a health food store. daily oral dosing works fine with high-potency tablets and is a medically-accepted method for treating cobalamin deficiency.
this is very interesting. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed b/c I'm just starting out and learning about all of this..But - if it helps.....I'll try anything.
I heard about the methyl b12 and I'm going to ask for it from the doctor for my four year old son. Have you heard much about the nasal kind? I would like to avoid needels. Very encouraging video.
I agree most b-12 you buy is not absorbed. The only exception I found was liposomal methyl b-12. It is used by some DAN autism doctors. It is a high tech pharmaceutical delivery process. I like it because you dont need prescriptions, doctors, and no shots.
I find it really interesting that so many autistic children are reacting well to B12 injections and that so many of them are gluten intolerant. Many of my family members (including myself) take B12 for deficiency, some of them is because of celiac disease. It is interesting that there are so many connections. I wish it were a cure all or everyone but that just isn't the case. I wish you the best. You are an excellent resource to those parents going through the same thing.
Hi, I wanted to add another effect seen with MB12:, increased awareness for surroundings. Sometimes, this leads to the child retesting boundaries, a good sign of progress in my opinion, e.g. a child decides he will go by himself to the video store to check one product out, when he had never ventured alone outside the house into the streets! We still are unable to predict from detailed biomedical profile, who will respond or not, so worth giving this a shot, so to speak, with medical supervision.
I think it would be really great if you did it, it only requires a few hours but I think you'll agree that what they are trying to create is a really timely useful thing, compiling all the parental feedback on interventions from RDI to ABA and vitamin/diet approaches. I spent a few hours answering their questions and all for about three hours and that was it, but you can stop any time and save the place you leave off at on the questionnaire.
That is really something, it's basically because of you mentioning to me some months ago how I haven't updated in close to a year motivated me and I have added some new pages. A HTML How To Guide for a basic page, a Chronic Pain page and a Obstructed Sleep Apnea page since I have been diagnosed with it and use a cpap machine, I wanted to share all that with people.
You were the catalyst to getting my backside in gear and I just couldn't seem to stop writing for the site, now we're close to moving so I won't be able to add more now, but thanks to you I got 4 new pages uploaded. :) Thanks again for this and the other awesome videos Phil, what you're doing is so very important. Thanks for doing all that you do. :)
you have supported me from the begining Pam and it was your support of my RDI videos that really made me feel good about what I was doing. sooooo Thanks To YOU!!!!
I am so glad that we bumped into each other on the RDI board Phil, because you've really had an impact on a lot of people, getting the word out about things that seriously MIGHT help a child to come out of autism a little or a lot depending on if they had something physically wrong that the intervention addresses like the GF/CF and it's really important that we both keep on getting out the word. Way to go Phil! :D
Great video Phil, have you been by my site lately? I have added some new pages, and one link to something I want to share with you here:
ianproject dot org
Internet Autism Network Project. You really should enter the data you have about Jake, I think it would really be a benefit to others out there to have one more POV on RDI, B12 & GF/CF take on the questionnaire they've set up.
I just wanted to thank you for putting together these wonderful blogs about your journey into the world of autism. I have learned so much from your journey!!!
we use the mb12 shots for our son who is two and we have had amazing results as well, he is able to focus 10 times better, and his speech is increasing, before we started the shots he said about 6 words, and just the other day his speech therapist was here and labeled 30 cards for her!!!!, he sat there payed attention and labeled them!!!!his words are not clear but there is such a enormous difference...he is interested...and trying
you need to go through a doctor and then order it from a pharmacy that does their own mixing. if you are in new jersey then the hopewell pharmacy is a good one. as far as what it does, whatever it is that vitamin b 12 does. thats all it is...vitamin b12.
YAY JAKE!!!!! Once again, this child of yours is not only extremely beautiful, but clearly making gigantic advances, (along w/ mom & dad!), due to your relentless care and research. Y'all are total heroes, even though I do not have a child of my own, (I wish!), this information is precious. XO,
I guess if he were diabetic, it would also be wrong.
The science is out there. It is not one cause or even one gene. It's hundreds just like cancer. There is not a singular cause nor cure. What afflicts the ND crowd may not be the same thing that affects your child, even though SOME of the SYMPTOMS may be similar.
I totally agree...but for all the tolerance the ND crowd preaches they themselves are very intolerant of others. And they preach acceptance yet accept nobody with a different view and often attack them. They have a lot of bullies in their ranks.
Amazing! I've had about 8-10 people online recommend MB12 to me. I know one person locally who also swears by MB12. And if Phil Commander swears by it, it's got to be worth a try.
Of course, the Neurodiverse crowd will claim this is quackery at best and possibly even torture!!!
oh yes, I have been told that I am using my son as a "human pin cushion" from that crowd. Also that I don't love or accept him because i use b12. The anti-biomedical crowd rarely have our children in mind.
You know, I'm more for oral medication/vitamins and I have heard of IV shots more but I noticed you used an IM gluteal shot. That's typically much better IMHO. There's enough butt to last a lifetime of "shots" unlike your precious arm veins.
I actually didnt mean to say 'shot' and once i said it i caught it. lol
yeah, ive never heard of b12 being given anywhere other than the butt. its suppose to go into the fat. you even inject at a 45 degree angle. How ya been my man?
Yer, I was watching a program last night how vitamins are very important in your diet for both physical and mental strength. They were showing how lack in one vitamin can cause a huge problem but after taking the vitamin they would be cured strait away (within days). There's meant to be hundreds of vitamins in flower because of scientific break troughs. BTW Jake's better at bouncing a ball than me :D
Wow, I take that B12 shot too after getting diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome, and I'll assure you, that it actually helps! Less depression, got my memory and focus back, feel happy, amazing, this guy is telling the truth, I swear! I never knew it was that efficient!

You can get mb12 shots from Trim Nutrition.
Look up Dr Neubrander for info on mb12.
Dr N. says that it takes about 2 years of mb12 to show the full potential.

I read that means if it isn't the normal urine color I injected him in the muscle instead of the fatty area I gave him the shot on his butt cheeks

Hi Phil I have a son on the autism specturm classified as PDD-NOS and he also has ADHD. I gave him the MB12 shot tonight for the first time was very nervous, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly when he went to use the bathroom I also went with him to see if his urine would be normal, but it had a tinge of pink wasn't dark red but it wasn't it's normal color.
mssecret1027 11 months ago
My youngest son (6) has PDD-NOS and behaviour issues also a low iq. Is it wise to start with this methyl B12 treatment? I will also ask my general practitioner, but after hearing all these great results with Autism i am just so curious?
low iq is not sure due to his behaviour probs. difficult to test.

Thanks for the video. Saw results the next day. Small verbal improvements. Dosage depends on childs weight for those who are wondering. Ask your doctor.

@kitsadar Jake took the shots for six months and then we saw no more progress (which is what a lot of parents say). He did not lose the skills he gained.

@PhilCommander2 Thank you so much for your reply! I really appreciate that.
During that six months, how often you give him the shot ( I mean one shot in how many days) Sorry in advance for asking so many questions : )

No problem.
One shot every three days but some doctors have parents give one shot a day (smaller doses)...The doctor would decide that for you.

@pipfollett01
Hi,
You do know that MB12 is a vitamin right? Not a drug?
I am not sure if you were implying that Vitamin B12 is a drug or if you were just commenting in general on drugs being used on autistic kids. For the most part I agree that drugs should be the last resort...but for some parents they really do need to go to that last resort. We didn't (thank God)
PhilCommander2 1 year ago 2
@pipfollett01 you seem a bit close minded, and afully critical, are you infering that people using alternative treatments are less caring of their children than you? It is a vitamin supplement, something these children are lacking through normal absortion. If there is a chance that this can help my child, I owe it to them to at least look into the research.
pherronii 1 year ago
@pherronii yep i agree, anything that is going to help, for me the last place i am going to look is a pill, regardless of how natural it may seem. I can only speak from my own point of view and the progress this guy was talking about to me was not earth moving and could be achieved with time, just my point of view on waht i saw.
pipfollett01 1 year ago
@pipfollett01 thanks for the reply. I respect your point of view. I have an aversion to drugs myself. under pressure from my wife, and my daughters school I agreed to try metadate (similar to ridlin), I regret that decision. about a month ago I threw the pills out.
At the same time I did begin giving her the B12, and magnesium suplements, and it has made a big difference in her behaviour. It hasn't been a miracle cure by any means, she is more focused, she smiles now, and far less agressive
pherronii 1 year ago
@pipfollett01 : No, he doesn't know. He is an idiot. He thinks anything in a tablet is a drug. He does not understand that food has complex molecular structure.
majesticlizard 1 year ago 2
@majesticlizard there is no need to be insulting. i do know that b12 is a vitamin, however i was marelying saying that in general people look for external solutions to a problem when the peoblem can be solved with out addition supplimentation. i have a degree in nutrition so i think i probably have a basic understanding of what foods can and cant do.
pipfollett01 1 year ago
I just have to respond to this person talking about drugs and just giving her children caring education.
B12 is a vitamin. I'm 37 years old and have been suffering from B12 deficiency for years. It's debilitating. You feel like you are suffering early onset Alzheimers because you can't hold a thought and your memory is lost! I never realized that my son could also be suffering the same deficiency. Thank You Philcommander for sharing Jake's Story... THanks

what about b12 supplements? Is it necessary to do the injections?
angelbe88 1 year ago
Thanks for this encouraging video....my son is 4 and autistic. It makes perfect sense that B-12 would have some type of effect on a child with autism. B-12 is prescribed to patients with diabetic neuropathy. What it does....is kinda makes the red blood cells slicker in the blood stream so that they may pass easier throughtout the body.......so IF our children have a problem within the brain the B-12 would DEFINITELY help get those oxygen rich blood cells through the brain! Grats & TY!

Chelating the mercury seems to be the most logical rather than just treating the symptoms. Mercury seems to be a probable cause of autism, then again with all the other junk they may put in vaccines, it could be more.

its also in Amalgam filling unfortunately

Unfortunately the mercury fillings in teeth seem to be a problem as well. I agree there is something possibly shady about them. I have one filling, but its non mercury. Silicon and glass I think.

BS. The first video he was miles away and had the freedom to fidget around. Second video he was boxed in by his dad. Ball videos? ha.. first ball was a beach ball, second was a very solid b-ball on hard ground. Not comparable items. I think the father is seeing what he would want to see. Now if someone came up with a "scientific" controlled test, then we can talk.
is2just 2 years ago
Maybe youre NOT seeing what you DONT want to see.
PhilCommander2 2 years ago
Ok, maybe. So what's the clad proof one way or another? How you and I feel? Or, perhaps... a SCIENTIFIC study? Please do tell. If you say no study is needed, I'll be sure to drop by and sell you a host of items I have in mind.
is2just 2 years ago
The video is meant to show my experience and my results with b12 shots. I have no reason to lie or distort. I am not saying that this is scientific and therefore it is proof that mb12 shots work. I am showing my story and if people choose to believe me great...if not, then that is their choice.
My videos tell my story...plain and simple. I know what i saw and dont need to prove to others what i experienced nor do i need a study to prove it to me.
It is my story...believe if you want.

well im not sure wether this b-12 injection works or not,and yeah, i noticed thers a diff. in d kid between the two vids the d daddy filmed frm 2:50 to 4:47, but it just doesnt fully convince me,im pretty sure the child also went thru special dieting, vitamins,(prolly bought him ice cream 5 min be4 d footage,j.k)or maybe d kid was going thru his better days? autistic kids can even be taught 2 stare(specially high functioning) cont.

melissacarl2002 3 years ago
Well I have gotten injections in the mussles for over 4 years now, but it hasn't cured me. This is nonsence. is there a problem with his ileum?
why give him a shot unless there is a problems with his ileum (which is where B12 absorption takes place)? why not just give him an oral supplement?

You can indeed buy methylcobalamin over the internet, and it is not garbage if it is from a decent supplier. (I have one.) It is every bit as good as the stuff you would get by prescription. Indeed, I showed a pharmacist my box and ampoules, and theirs came from the same company I do business with. (They're legit, all the way.)
Other than that, this is a good video, and it is good to see that your son has seen improvement from b12.
The Lord's peace to you.
:-)
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
I would NEVER recommend that a parent buy anything over the internet and take the contents and inject it into their child...theyre asking for trouble. I am sure that there are some legitimate suppliers on the internet but i wouldnt use my child to find out which ones are legit and which ones arent.
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
It's not that you wouldn't recommend it. It is that you condemned any and all injected methyl bought over the internet as garbage. As I said, you are wrong.
By the way, I used myself and my pharmacist to find out. Not a kid. There are other ways, you know. And not everyone even has an extra 500 bucks for doctors visits, when they will be spending 70-100 dollars a month on the shots alone. Not only that, but here in small town Texas, finding a cooperative Doctor can be a big challenge.
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
What I meant by "I wouldnt use my child" was that you would be testing the Mb12 on them to see if it was good or not.
(not you yourself...but others would)
What you have to keep in mind is that so many people dont have common sense and if I am going to do a video seen by people whom i dont know or cant talk to in person, then i want to come out strongly against trying internet b12.
If someone wants to try that route then thats their business...but i would not recommend it.
(CONTINUED)...
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
Part 2
If there are some good b12 shots available over the internet then let others recommend it and search it out. Hopefully they will use common sense and good judgement as you yourself seem to have. but when i do videos i assume that people who lack common sense will see them + misconstrue what i have said.
The only way I would ask parents to look into MB12 shots is if they went through a doctor.
Then the legal and moral responsability is on that doctor and not me.
Hope you understand.
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
Coming out strongly against experimenting on your kid with methylcobalamin purchased over the internet, and condemning all of it as garbage are two very different things.
And I'm sure that the cast majority of folks who would take a chance on some of this stuff bought over the internet would first test it on themselves.
When I say that finding a cooperative doctor here can be a big challenge, I mean there are none in a 100 mile radius. But one discovers this the hardest way. (contd).
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
Understand, if it wasn't for people who lack common sense and experiment on their own children, you wouldn't be using b12 on your own. Those irresponsible people are the ones who started this, and brought other people's attention to it's success.
And believe me, there is no way I would post my source on youtube. There are too many people who would try to get them in trouble somehow, even though they are legally doing business.
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
Anyways, I'm done now. Respond how you like, I won't be back.
My best wishes to you and your family for continued success.
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
BookKittyRadley, you said this..."And I'm sure that the cast majority of folks who would take a chance on some of this stuff bought over the internet would first test it on themselves."
This is where you and I disagree and this disagreement is why we also disagree on my approach concerning internet MB12.
hope you understand.

logicaljackieo0 3 years ago
Hi and thanks for comments.
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
continued response to logicaljackie...
with the ball bouncing...i mention in the video that jake never got better than the footage you see and i discontinued trying to teach him to bounce the ball because it was clear that he couldnt and wasnt getting any better and i didnt want to cause stress and a sense of failure in him.
After the b12 shots he picked up the ball On His Own and was able to focus on it as he bounced it and the first time that he picked it up in MONTHS he dribbled it...cont.
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
cont to logicaljackie,
the first time he picked up the ball in months he dribbled it as long as he wanted to. simply because he could look at the ball without losing focus.
To say that im "so desperate to find something that works implying deficiency and not disability that im losing focus of reality" is one heck of an assumption on your part. What examples can you offer from what you have seen of my videos to back that comment up? Im not offended but i think you need to defend that comment.
PhilCommander2 3 years ago
I have given examples of how the environment is different as well as the spacing between you and the child, those things make a difference as to how he will react. and the month you practiced might of been the month he got it wether he took b12 or not. As well as MANY other factors like other vitamin intake, diet, stress that day, weather, his rest factor? All of these things are what makes a good experiment and real results valid.
logicaljackieo0 3 years ago
Logicaljackie0 are you autistic? And are you a scientist? This man "would never" put his son at risk! This man "loves his son deeply" and is doing alot for "parents" of autistic children! What are you doing except being a grain of sand in the machinery! If you don't like what he does then go somewhere else. I am autistic and this man is a god send! Who on the other hand sent you?
angelinaissweet 3 years ago
So my point is that you are going through a phenomenon where you are so desperate to find something that works implying a deficiency and not a disability you are loosing focus of reality. Parents of children with disabilities go thru this and try to find a miracle thing. Vitamins are great!no doubt and can help with day to day behavior but cannot change natural cognition or aptitude. Im sorry.
logicaljackieo0 3 years ago 3
You are very wrong. But as long as you don't support any effort to keep parents from exploring these alternative treatments with their kids, who cares.
BooKittyRadley 3 years ago
I am not wrong, any one with a brain knows that the surrounding can define an experiment.
logicaljackieo0 3 years ago
I imagine the shot helps but your controlled factors in your area of experiment are PARAMOUNT when analyzing a subject. And the before and after of the child bouncing the ball, well if my daughter tried bouncing a ball now she would not do well but after a month of practicing and better vitamins she would do fine, she is not impaired.
logicaljackieo0 3 years ago 3
I am no bubble buster but ur "experiments" of the before & after of your sons focus factor r not entirely valid. In the before experiment of word repetition he was filmed in an open area & u were many ft from him,the after video was done in an enclosed area, infront of a piece of furniture & 2 ft from his face, closing the area around him WILL increase his focus. Factors like this are paramount when conducting an experiment for validity in conjunction with factors like what he ate that day etc

okudaisi 3 years ago
that's great, but you don't have to go to a doctor to get methylcobalamin, or even to the internet. 5000 mcg sublingual tablets will cost you about $1/day at a health food store. daily oral dosing works fine with high-potency tablets and is a medically-accepted method for treating cobalamin deficiency.

I wish you and your family all the best. You are a brilliant father. It is 02:03 AM in Stockholm Sweden and
I'm glued to the screen.

Thanks so much pam!!! im gonna do it. Youre right, it will help. gonna check out your website today...its great that you updated it!!!
PhilCommander2 4 years ago
That is really something, it's basically because of you mentioning to me some months ago how I haven't updated in close to a year motivated me and I have added some new pages. A HTML How To Guide for a basic page, a Chronic Pain page and a Obstructed Sleep Apnea page since I have been diagnosed with it and use a cpap machine, I wanted to share all that with people.
ThePamster 4 years ago
You were the catalyst to getting my backside in gear and I just couldn't seem to stop writing for the site, now we're close to moving so I won't be able to add more now, but thanks to you I got 4 new pages uploaded. :) Thanks again for this and the other awesome videos Phil, what you're doing is so very important. Thanks for doing all that you do. :)
ThePamster 4 years ago
you have supported me from the begining Pam and it was your support of my RDI videos that really made me feel good about what I was doing. sooooo Thanks To YOU!!!!
PhilCommander2 4 years ago
I am so glad that we bumped into each other on the RDI board Phil, because you've really had an impact on a lot of people, getting the word out about things that seriously MIGHT help a child to come out of autism a little or a lot depending on if they had something physically wrong that the intervention addresses like the GF/CF and it's really important that we both keep on getting out the word. Way to go Phil! :D

Great video Phil, have you been by my site lately? I have added some new pages, and one link to something I want to share with you here:

Internet Autism Network Project. You really should enter the data you have about Jake, I think it would really be a benefit to others out there to have one more POV on RDI, B12 & GF/CF take on the questionnaire they've set up.

Hi,
I just wanted to thank you for putting together these wonderful blogs about your journey into the world of autism. I have learned so much from your journey!!!
Thank you...

Thank you brother for using this, public "relativly unrestricted free thinking forum".Thanks again

That's very very interesting. I've noticed similar differances when I cut almost all white flour and sugar from Joshua's diet.

absolutely. gluten and sugar. sugar is such a bad thing for all of us, especially some kids on the spectrum. thanks for your comment!

How do you get B12? Can you point me to some more information about b12 and what it does exactly?
somewherenjersey 4 years ago
you need to go through a doctor and then order it from a pharmacy that does their own mixing. if you are in new jersey then the hopewell pharmacy is a good one. as far as what it does, whatever it is that vitamin b 12 does. thats all it is...vitamin b12.

XO,
S.B.

Great video Phil. My son also did great, and continues to do so with the MB12 shots.

How old was Jake when you gave him the first B12 shot?
lessorof2evils 4 years ago
one month away from being 6.

Thanks.
666sigma 4 years ago
I totally agree...but for all the tolerance the ND crowd preaches they themselves are very intolerant of others. And they preach acceptance yet accept nobody with a different view and often attack them. They have a lot of bullies in their ranks.
PhilCommander2 4 years ago
Amazing! I've had about 8-10 people online recommend MB12 to me. I know one person locally who also swears by MB12. And if Phil Commander swears by it, it's got to be worth a try.
Of course, the Neurodiverse crowd will claim this is quackery at best and possibly even torture!!!
666sigma 4 years ago
oh yes, I have been told that I am using my son as a "human pin cushion" from that crowd. Also that I don't love or accept him because i use b12. The anti-biomedical crowd rarely have our children in mind.

"you won't know until you give it a shot" LOL.
You know, I'm more for oral medication/vitamins and I have heard of IV shots more but I noticed you used an IM gluteal shot. That's typically much better IMHO. There's enough butt to last a lifetime of "shots" unlike your precious arm veins.
lordalfredhenry 4 years ago
I actually didnt mean to say 'shot' and once i said it i caught it. lol
yeah, ive never heard of b12 being given anywhere other than the butt. its suppose to go into the fat. you even inject at a 45 degree angle. How ya been my man?
PhilCommander2 4 years ago
Yer, I was watching a program last night how vitamins are very important in your diet for both physical and mental strength. They were showing how lack in one vitamin can cause a huge problem but after taking the vitamin they would be cured strait away (within days). There's meant to be hundreds of vitamins in flower because of scientific break troughs. BTW Jake's better at bouncing a ball than me :D

thanks for the nice words Phil - great video!
