  • @Herfer The reason he chose to paint specifically these colors was to show the heavy pigment count and coverage ability... Most paints do not have this ability without blotching or streaking due to poor coverage. Also some oil paints like oil based acrylics can be used to hyper blend a powersword or used in source light painting due to their long dry times.

    Fallen

  • Ron Kruzie is my hobby idol. Whether Videos of him on YouTube have sound or no sound,he still paints like a god.

  • Is there no sound or my speakers busted

  • this doesnt show the paint its just shows the painter...i cant paint like this with any paints...

  • @Herfer Prove it then faggot.

  • @Herfer typo "can" instead of cant

  • @Herfer Do it with Interior Latex and I'll be impressed.

  • @Foxx3699 you mean GW paint?

  • @Herfer Nope. Something like you'd get at Sherwin-Williams. You DID say 'any paints'.

  • @Foxx3699 Good call. Im sorry for using a blanket statement. I should have said "Any acrylic model paint" as i do/will not use oil, its a terrible miniature and model paint medium IMO. cant shade with it for crap.

  • buen video explicativo pero se ve que el que lo grababa estaba un poco nervioso porque macho no has parado de mover la camara ni un segundo. que cosa mas nerviosa

  • why is there no sound?

  • Grrr!! i'm frustrated!! were do u get p3 paints from?!!?!? i looked on the privateerpress store for p3 paints and to no avail i could not find them

  • check the miniwargamming website's store. or your FLGS...

  • p3 paints are not on the pp site if u live in uk ur screwed if not go 2 the war store

  • Great demo of wet blending - very fast and effective. These paints are the best I have used.

  • Hmmmm....interesting...looks like good paint :)

  • What primer did he use on these did he say?

  • What kind of paints are these i know p3 but are they by privateerpress or another company?

  • privateer press

  • get it p3: privateer press paint thats what i think at least

  • erm use the grey base paint that GW has, astronimcan grey, it goes over black perfectly and then only one or 2 thinned down skull white coats has to be painted on for a perfect white, i use this technique on my black templar shoulders, saves me heaps of time

  • i usualy just paint a layer of dahab stone foundation paint then 2 thin layers of skull white

  • He's putting the paint on too thickly. What a douche.

  • its thick paint

  • What kind of White Paint is he using at 4:20 ??

It looks far more better than the crappy GW one....with the GW,i just have to paint like 8 layers to get a good white finish....with this one,it looks like 3 times are enough...

  • Judging by the name of the video "P3 Paints demo"

  • i think it was menoth white base :)

  • OK...thaks mate thats what i wanted to know. Cheers

  • no problem :)

  • No shit, most whites do take a few layers to get a good finish. Pretty much a no brainer, put a colour less bright down before it, then you'll solve that issue.

If you want a dirty tone to your whites, use a brown base, want a cleaner tone? Use grey as the base for it, and layer your way up.

  • Im using Bleached Bone as base on my Black Templars shoulder pads...and then i build up from there with the normal white...it looks just a little dirty...like a soldier shoul look =)

  • loookd like khador has a easy paint job

  • I completely understand that your bumped into a lot and the picture will jump around madly. But why zoom-in, -out, -in, -in, -out, -in, -out,...?! I'm getting dizzy... But the painting is just awesome. I want to paint like that :(

  • Fantastic colors! Better than the Games Workshop stuff.

  • Is that straight from the bottle? Those P3s have impressive coverage, especially the second half of the video, white/cream/bone over black primer.

  • Yep, the paint is exactly like that. PP has made the paint with more pigment so it covers better.

  • audio would be nearly impossible at a con, unless the dude was screaming, and you had a mic. awsome vid thanks for showing us who couldn't be there.

  • Wonderful, this helps alot. Thanks for sharing. Audio would be nice tho...

  • Camera work is hard at a con where is crowd and you are constantly being bumpbed into. I'm no professional camera man but I had to work with what I had, just a camcorder and no tripods and dozens of people bumping into me.

  • You did a fine job. Nice catching it all.

  • nice ;D

  • fantastic paint job, but thats about the worst camera work Ive seen

  • The painter is Ron Kruzie. There's an article about him in NQ9 on page 88. The video is done in real time. The guy paints really fast.

  • What the crap... It would take me about 10 mins to just work on the Juggernaut. The blending on that IFP was stupidly good. All in all a good vid.

  • This is sweet. Who is the painter? I'm guessing it's one of the Brushthrall guys. He paints v quickly... and wet blends. Interest! Great vids :D
