the esky lama v3 is just crap. i bought so many extras, tuning parts, spend time and money and never got it stable. Now I have a CopterX and its more stable than Lama V3...

you should but be advised, you may need extra parts if u get 1, i got 1 and need extra parts and i fly mine outdoors as i am not skilled enough for indoor flight!! yet anyway...

the idea of koax indoor helicoptes is, that everyone, without having flying-skills, can fly them in minutes or hours. in my opinion the v3 it is not made for beginners and tuning will not make it easyer to handle. just waste of money. . compare it to similar models from walkera. I got myself one and i can fly it without having a finger on the remote control.

which one did you get thats easier?? i dont believe its a beginners copter either as it can be extremely daunting flying indoors, outdoors does help but there has to be optimum conditions

I recomend u should buy the V3 ,then plug your remote to your pc .Then download FMS (flying model simulator) and then start training on the PC then start real ebvironment . I couldn't plug my remote 2 my pc coz in South Africa you dont get ports inyour rmote.

the light system is pretty easy to build up. Just use some parallel blocks of LED. Each block has 2 LED in series. Just pick the color you like and use the power from the lipo battery, then you are good to go. Cheers

i recomend you buy 1 of thes but if you are not prepared to pay money when it breaks than dont bother but if you can aford 1 and are happy to pay money to fix them the it is the best fun in the world recomended !!!

Easy u just woble ur aileron stick or elevator and the heli does the same. But its hard to keep in control!

wow that is awesome i love the nodding that was my favorite trick, a questionsky does the stabilizer bar effect the maneuverability of the heli coz my robins seems slightly restricted

Yeah, the stabilizer does affect the maneuverability, but also the stability (hence the name =) ). So if you're a good pilot, you should try shortening it, but be careful (or get a spare one first ;-) )

you should upgrade to alloy inner shaft and your flybar won't fly away anymore.

no i haven't done any mods to my lama except the landing skid, tail boom and canopy.

Another question...have you done any other modifications to your lama? In particular any shaft length/motor modification. I've seen other Lamas getting very bad blade crashes because of maneuvers similar to yours...

This is DIY light system. It can be built easily with some leds and wires. The battery is ok, flight still still remains almost the same.
