Come on guys every video i look up someone has to start a fight on Utube why can't we be friends??................oh and by the way it the choice of tires, year of the atvs....but not the brand
@boothill24 dude take a yamaha in the water and see what happends frist and i never had alot of issues it is not the bike it is the rider learn soming dum shit hahaha i know you sick dick but you dont need to say to people about your personal life. fuck off
Although things like this really don't prove one machine superior to the other, there is one thing that occured to me. The Yamaha did as good as it did despite the fact that Polaris utility ATVs outweigh everything else in their class, often by as much as 20% or more. So the Polaris SHOULD have pushed the Yamaha around. But it didn't...
hahahahaha why did i watch this grizzly is the best i was raised on one polairs worst of all their for beginners. ya'll come up to ohio well show ya what grizzlys can do ya'll
That's fun. Riding on ice...is all about momentum and who has it. Has nothing to do with power or weight....ever slide on the ice? Try to go in the other direction....good luck.
@doktorstolat I know a tech that works at the local Polaris/Suzuki/Yamaha shop that tells me the same thing. And he should know, being that he has to work on them. He recommends Yamaha and Suzuki over Polaris.
@doktorstolat Honda makes a good ATV. No doubt about that. My tech friend doesn't work at a shop that sells Hondas though, so he rarely, if at all, works on them. So he probably wouldn't be able to fairly compare them to the rest.
For me though, I also have to look at features. And the Grizzly has more than the Honda, such as a low range, locking front differential, and more storage. Plus it has more ground clearance and suspension travel.
The griz is just that much better a 4 wheeler then the popo. The XP's are better but still not anuff to knock off the grizz as best big bore 4x4. Sure most big bores out have more hp then the griz but its the whole quad that makes it win all those shot outs in the mags. The fit and finsh , handling , reliability make it the best.
@KINDIRBUDS yo your wrong the suzuki king quad 750 would destroy the grizzly more hp better relability the power steering is better everthing dont get me wrong the grizzly is good but falls short when it comes to the suzuki king quad and lets not forget about the can am outlander way better then the grizzly the grizzly is better then the honda rubicon but still not better then the artic cat mudpro 700
@forrest225 hmm how would u be able to turn then?, i own a grizzly myself and ik with the diffs locked it is very difficult to turn and if i had to do that always it would be traded fast lol
@sstroh08 Because when you flip the switch to go into AWD the front wheels don't actually engage until the rear tires slip. There is a clutch that engages the front wheels after about a quarter turn of the rear tires. It works pretty well because they only pull when you need it. It's basically what can am tried and failed to achieve with visco lock.
@forrest225 o ok ic what u mean, that sounds pretty nice, personally i prefer the yamaha system because u have control over when its in 4x4 or all 4 wheels are locked up not the quad itself, but that sounds neat and would be interesting to try
@sstroh08 Yeah it's pretty nice, and pretty smooth. You really don't notice it that much, works just as well as any other fourwheel drive system. As long as all four wheels spin the same speed, any ATV will do as good as it's tires let it :)
i have a polaris sportsman a yamaha and a honda reliability goes to the honda power to the polaris and everything else to the yamaha they are good bikes but id pick the ohters over it its just me tho
alright look at it this way...snow = dry pavement, ice = ice. the snow is the only traction anyone had. the grizzly was sideways forcing the wheels to go on the snot, therefore giving it more traction. the Sportsman however stayed on the same line of ice.
The yamaha has the advantage of having newer technology and better traction tires if the polaris had the same tires and it was the same year as the yamaha grizzly it waouldnt stand a chance
@dustymilk i have a 700 sportsman twin and no fucking grizzly has beat me ive gone against two we tied both of them with chains and i pulled that grizzly didnt have a chance
@DJSmexy21 You do realize that this is an apple to oranges comparison, right?? The po-po is around 150 pounds heavier to begin with so of course the advantage is there. Even out the weight and get the same tires then do a video. Sounds silly but really so is arguing who can win a pulling contest. Is that what you use your quad to do all the time?? Lets all enjoy our rides no matter what we got, ride the hell out of them, drink some beers after and tell some stories. Cheers.

Stop doing that this is just a question of traction! if you place a ford f-750 on black ice and a atv on rubber, atv will push it.

@WKHalford
any belt transmission are just not as good as metal gears
but if that is what you want then look at rincon , and grizzly , or brute force
I am enjoying my new 2012 honda foreman , and I agree it should have the low range ,
and rear independent suspension , and lifted by 2 inch
