@LisaFreemontStreet Oh because I just get this feeling about you, IDK how to explain it. I'm a Christian young woman as well and my mom says that Christians have this like sixth sense where they can feel the presence of God in a person. My pediatrician asked me if I was a person of faith! haha <3
@sandra131950 Probably...I'd see if you can google something on elevation temperature changes in cooking and see what happens...let me know what you find out. :)
@LisaFreemontStreet well i researched it and it said the higher the altitude the more you have to lower the degrees and extend the cooking time in a recipe (: thank you for this video now im excited to make some rolls (:
Yay! That's my Grandma Miller and her famous rolls! They make the most amazing sandwiches for post-Thanksgiving leftovers. I'm very impressed that you attempted these; all the buttering and rolling out has always intimidated me, but yours look just right.
@broadwayladylucy Sorry! Announcement everyone: the adorable girl with the vintage hair is not me, we just share a grandma . . . and her rolls, occasionally.
Oh my those look so good! I'll have to try some on a cool day. No baking in summer weather. :-). Btw. I do love the hair. I've had short hair for over 10 years and am now trying to grow it out then you cut yours and its darling. I had a lot of trouble pin curling short.
@LisaFreemontStreet Woops! I must've overlooked it before. It really is a fantastic apron! And by the way, I love, love, love your videos! Always look forward to new ones. Thanks for all you do for us!
@LisaFreemontStreet Thank you Googled it and a substitute you can use vegtable oil ,margarine or butter shortening is not available to buy in Ireland as far as I know.
i've never seen rolls done in this way. it's different alright lol - they look good

@Victorian9322 Not rude but curious. :) What led you to do that conclusion? I am, by the way.

Lovely vid. They look yum. Did you have to knead the dough for long? Also I have no idea what shortening is. Is it like margarine?
clarabows 7 months ago
@clarabows shortening...it's like 'lard' made of vegetable oil. Crisco is the most popular brand here in the states.

adg135 7 months ago
@adg135 I thought so too but the texture was perfect...I definitely added a lot of flour with the rolling out process.
