  • How many rolls did you get?

  • @CuriousCosmo09 I think about 20.

  • yuummmmy!! those look delicious! i'll have to give them a whirl come the holidays <3

  • Gosh, I wish it were that glamourous when I bake! Is there anything you can't do glamourously?! haha x

  • I sense you are a woman of the Christian faith. Are you? Sorry I don't mean to be rude.

  • @Victorian9322 Not rude but curious. :) What led you to do that conclusion? I am, by the way.

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Oh because I just get this feeling about you, IDK how to explain it. I'm a Christian young woman as well and my mom says that Christians have this like sixth sense where they can feel the presence of God in a person. My pediatrician asked me if I was a person of faith! haha <3

  • are these rolls really doughy? Ive been looking for a roll recipe thats really doughy and moist.

  • @shebabe03 not in a bad way...they are moist.

  • Your apron is absolutely adorable. :)

  • you know how you said bake at 425 degrees i live 2,950 feet (900 m) above sea level and i was wondering if the degrees would be different?

  • @sandra131950 Probably...I'd see if you can google something on elevation temperature changes in cooking and see what happens...let me know what you find out. :)

  • @LisaFreemontStreet well i researched it and it said the higher the altitude the more you have to lower the degrees and extend the cooking time in a recipe (: thank you for this video now im excited to make some rolls (:

  • Yay! That's my Grandma Miller and her famous rolls! They make the most amazing sandwiches for post-Thanksgiving leftovers. I'm very impressed that you attempted these; all the buttering and rolling out has always intimidated me, but yours look just right.

  • @MrsKatiedids Now everyone's going to think that picture is of you, Kate. Pah!

  • @broadwayladylucy Sorry! Announcement everyone: the adorable girl with the vintage hair is not me, we just share a grandma . . . and her rolls, occasionally.

  • @MrsKatiedids That's better! haha!

  • Mmm... Gong to try this recipe this weekend

  • Do you like Portuguese food ? If so I might have a few recipes I might dig out for ya! Do you want just like baking recipes or other things too ?

  • Oh my those look so good! I'll have to try some on a cool day. No baking in summer weather. :-). Btw. I do love the hair. I've had short hair for over 10 years and am now trying to grow it out then you cut yours and its darling. I had a lot of trouble pin curling short.

  • Do you lay them butter-side down?

  • @Victorian9322 The recipe didnt say. I assumed it was butter side up. :)

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Thanks, Ashley! :D

  • there is nothing better than fresh baked bread or rolls! YUM!

  • I love that apron!!! Where did you get it?

  • @faeriefire78 see info bar...

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Woops! I must've overlooked it before. It really is a fantastic apron! And by the way, I love, love, love your videos! Always look forward to new ones. Thanks for all you do for us!

  • Lovely vid. They look yum. Did you have to knead the dough for long? Also I have no idea what shortening is. Is it like margarine?

  • @clarabows shortening...it's like 'lard' made of vegetable oil. Crisco is the most popular brand here in the states.

  • @clarabows shortening...it's like 'lard' made of vegetable oil. Crisco is the most popular brand here in the states.

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Thank you Googled it and a substitute you can use vegtable oil ,margarine or butter shortening is not available to buy in Ireland as far as I know.

  • @clarabows Oh, and no, I didnt knead it for long. I was afraid of working it too much and making it tough.

  • The recipes my great grandmothers had from the 40s and 50s are trendy and horrifying haha.

  • I'm definitely going to try this recipe. Thanks. :)

  • I love these!!! now i'm so hungry haha

  • YUMMY!

  • How many rolls did that recipe make?

  • @xoxotheatrexoxo about 20

  • i think 5 cups would have worked better the dough looks a lil too soft but you still looked super happy eating those bad boys hehehe

  • @adg135 I thought so too but the texture was perfect...I definitely added a lot of flour with the rolling out process.

  • @LisaFreemontStreet that probably helped it out :)

  • now i'm hungry
