@s123onny - Just because I already know it doesn't mean that I don't need to keep hearing it :) You're very right! Thanks for watching and for the honest and real feedback. I'm committed to no more cutting for at least 12 months.
STOP CUTTING YOUR HAIR!! Lol! How often do you use your flat iron? Your hair looks great! I am coming up on two years as well but I haven't cut my since the BC.
@shere46 - Okay okay, I will stop cutting :) I get into these vicious cycles and I know that it could be longer. I just hate the split ends. I'm not going to cut it for at least 12 months, though. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. The support and real talk means everything! xoxo
Your hair looks great and healthy, keep the good work. Congratulations on being 2 years natural. I have 3 mth's before I'm 2 years Natural and I can't wait but I do not expect to have much length because I have trimmed my hair a view times and it makes my hair appear even shorter.
hey missy! the flat iron style is cute! i too feel like i shld be at a longer length. but i'm also accepting that my hair grows slower than average (i tested!) and is fine and very susceptible to breakage from the slightest manipulation. but if i don't manipulate, how will i ever learn my hair? it's a give and take. i'll be coming up on my 2 yrs in july so i feel like u're my hair buddy! here's to healthy growing!
Hey Stranger, long time no see. My hair is also not where I think it "should" be after 2 years of growing. I've trimmed my several times so that does contribute to a lack of length but my ends were thin and rough. Now I'm trying to keep them moisturized so there will be no need to trim again. The next time I cut it'll be to cut it all off. Good luck on the challenge.
It looks really good!....good luck on your grow out challenge...i was very close to putting scissors to my hair too....we really have similar texture....growth seems very very slow because our hair is not dense...so does this challenge mean no more scissors?...
@watchfuleye2008 - Thanks, lady! YES! I need to stop cutting my hair if I want it to grow, but I always get split ends...even when I'm being really good to my hair. I don't know what it is. I won't be cutting it again for at least the next 6 months. I hope that I don't have to then either.
I'm the same way...I always think my hair looks bigger in person than on camera :) I think you got some good growth for 2 years :D your hair looks Beautiful!!
Your hair is looking Beautiful! Keep up the good work!!!
