  • Did it just get funky in here? 0:51

  • I believe this track is called "Unlock The Real Me"

  • i still have to hold back my tears if i her this song.

  • Yes. Glad to see Contact get some love. So underrated. I still hold out hope for a sequel in the future. Don't dash my hopes, I cling on.

  • never played this game but this is th 8th time im listening to this. its damn good. love the chord progression. its different.

  • @runitecastle im in the same boat as you here, only i have lost count how many times i have listened to it xD

  • Very disappointed with new Grasshopper game Shadows of the Damned. Looks very generic, even though Mikami is on board and the last MikamixSuda project was Killer7 :/

  • @MangaPlCTURE Check out the review at actionbutton net if you want to read up on why Shadows of the Damned came out kind of boring.

  • Been waiting on this one! Great addition!

  • Where I can download?!

  • :'(

  • PAL boxart was better.... again >_>

  • Realllly want to play this now!

  • Hey I remeber ATLUS!!! They're the guys who made Snowboard Kids 1 and 2! Those games were so awesome and they had some of the best VGM in them.

  • I really enjoyed this game and its music~ Unfortunately I played it so intermittently that I could barely piece together the story.

I loved how they broke the fourth wall a little, it actually made me feel more connected to the characters.

The last boss was pretty annoying, but not too bad if you had enough potions.

Did you guys know there's apparently going to be an (indirect) sequel to this game? I'd really love to see it.

  • I don't think this would actually be categorized as minimalist, but that's just a formality. Interesting composition.

  • My favorite song from the game, I was mystified at the end when I beat it. Wish it was longer though.

  • suda 51 is everywhere isn't he

  • This song needs more treble. :) Seriously though, the melody is quite weak.

  • I love this game's music and this game as well. It kinda reminds me of Earthbound in it's feel, and I like the unique system is has. I am proud to own this game.

  • I think I rented this and had no clue what to do and hated it.

  • Good theme for a relaxing end like you said.

  • I wanna dance to this after 0:50.

  • European boxart is way better, didn't care for the gameplay though.

  • I must say, I enjoyed this game quite profusely. Even though many hated it, I found the battle system very refreshing and unique, tying in with the central theme especially well. I'm planning on writing a big article on it soon, so i'll be playing it again!

Oh, by the way, where did you find the music in such good quality? I'm a big fan of Takada and Fukuda's music, but all the videos i find of the music are either poor quality, or cut short before they loop again.

  • Pretty epic when the drums and that funky bass kick in after 50 seconds of angelic sounds.

Especially for a minimalist track like Supra said

  • Oh, I freaking loved this game. Great music all around, actually. My favorite had to have been Habara though.

  • @bankaimstr Wow thanks for the suggestion of the Habara song! Listened to it and it's amazing ;)

  • This was a pretty unique game by Grasshopper with charming graphics and music (Takada composed for the No More Heroes series). I wasn't a big fan of the battle system though and the difficulty felt uneven, I'm not sure if that was just me though.

A minimalist but relaxing theme, a great way to end the game.
