Richboy, u sound like an idiot. Mya IS a professional dancer- check her My Love is Like Whoa video... she has extensive hip hop and tap training. She doesn't have to be experienced in EVERYTHING, she has to have the basic structures of dance down to a science and can move and has an expertise in at least ONE dance style...

sabrina from last season was also a dancer. Mya was trained in tap and dances hip hop. This doesnt translate into knowing how to do the foxtrot, cha cha, quickstep, etc.

So fucking what!! Sabrina from the Cheetah girls was on season 7 and she was a dancer. Just b'cuz Mya dances in her R&B videos doesn't make her a pro dancer. If she was a pro dancer then she wouldn't be on here in the 1st place!!!!!!!!

Mya doesn't know how to do salsa, latin dances, or any ballroom dances at all etc..etc. So whats your logic???? Demetri taught her how to do all those dances so it is FAIR that she should be on the show and she SHOULD win and those other two white people SUCK!!

cont. are other stars that have had some dance experience when they were younger. Abc has never said that the stars couldn't have ANY dance background experience they just said that they can't have ball room experience. Oh yeah and Melissa last season had ballet and she was a Dallas Cheerleader. Donny has been in show busniess for alomost as old as I am. It is what it is.

The producers of abc know her resume this is just a mute argument she's on the show because they asked her too. She is very talented and I enjoy her and Dmitry very much. Every season their is always someone that has more dance experience then some of the stars and some that have no dance background at all. When you have two olympic champs that you know had ballet training  (Kristi and Shawn) there's also Mario Lopez, The tall blonde on season 2 I think her name is Stacey and I'm sure there

She was chosen for a solo spot in a dance performance at the Kennedy center. That seems pretty close to professionally trained dancer to me.

What makes one a professionally trained dancer? The difference between Mya and Joey Fatone, Joey Lawrence, is that she has been able to make a career out of dancing. She took ballet lessons from the age of two & later added jazz and tap (FACT). She won some dance competitions, and joined a professional dance team by ten.

No she's not a professional you fucking idiot!!!!! If she was a professional then why did they put her on the show? Hummm.... just because she dances in her R&B vids doesn't make her a pro. Janet Jackson and Beyonce are not pro dances but they do dance very good.

Do u even know the definition of a "PRO" dancer? A "PRO" dancer is a dancer who KNOWS how to dance in ALL dance genre's from ballroom to latin dances etc..etc and Mya never knew how to dance ballroom dances or any other latin dances!

I think Mya is articulate and kind. She obviously cared about Debi and Maks. I think people misjudge her b/c she's reserved, calm and professional.  And not a drama queen like some of the others.

I think she should be the winner I think that she is the best dancer out of all of the stars. She looks like she could hold her own with the pro female dancers too! We all must make sure we vote we don't want what happend to Kim last season to happen to Mya. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!
