the Blackhawks, Seminoles, and Illini have used the Native American image in a way to truly honor the tribe. Renegade and Osceola at FSU and Illinawek at the U of I are very respectable to their cultures, and the Hawks don't even have a true "Indian" mascot besides the logo on the front of their sweaters, which seems Ok to me.

All so callled native american mascots should be changed. Or here's another solution. In our tribal colleges we should change our mascots to "The Niggers", "White Trash", "The Wet Backs" or how about "The Zipperheads"... How does that sound to some of you folks that have Native mascots??
